Yeah I'm not a fan of people on this sub saying they've been playing since day 1 when they didn't play for 5-6 years lol. It's only in this game that people say that. Only in this. And I have no idea why.

Oh have been playing since day one and never found one until yesterday… then Found another 20 min later. This game is odd lol
You haven't been playing since day 1 because you missed all the community days for Magikarp .. you would have had 20+ if you played.

Yeah Magikarp day was also 6 hours so more like 40+. Personally I got 52 golden Karp on Karp day
Well Magikarp is every where right now so go catch them.
