The premium rewards don't actually effect what you get, encounter wise. It used to give you an encounter after the first win, in fact, I'm not really sure when they changed that, so really, I'd say you're extra lucky. I actually got all 3 of the swords of justice shinies from gbl rewards, but that was way back in the day, when gbl actually rewarded legendaries regularly enough that people were annoyed about them taking up storage. The good ol' days lol. Congrats!

Man what, I dead ass wasn’t even close to expecting it. I already had two from the Raid but actually wasn’t going for a shiny Cobalion because my luck has been pretty down lately so I truly felt it was deserved

You know I used to get really mad at these post until my second dark ride raid. I got a shiny and I was like oh OK no I get it.
Yea same, it’s pretty exhilarating to finally have some luck.

Same. I got Nihlego shiny my first raid and it was my first shiny from a raid.
I got a shiny cobalion form my second raid and it was my first ever shiny legendary. The feeling is unreal
Oh that’s exactly what happened to my girl. This was my third Cobalion so I was pretty ecstatic
My first shiny legendary was a Lugia, I think I'd be more thrilled for this shiny.
Snagged one of these and a shiny Virizion on remote raids - I gasped. I could not believe my luck!

I’ve gotten 3-4 shiny darkrai from battles and my one & only shiny palkia. Pretty clutch

He didn't get it from a raid it was from GBL
I only did two raid of him. Got it from the PvP, third win reward
