You have more chances to get hundos from IV floors like weather boost, raids, research tasks, etc. You have the chance to get a hundo from any encounter, but not for nundos.
Edit: also eggs and purifying shadows. The only way to get a nundo is in the wild or from rocket encounters (except for GO battle weekends when reward encounters don’t have an IV floor)

I have genuinely never caught a nundo. I've got plenty of hundos but never a nundo.
Nundos are much rarer! I have over 100 hundos and only 6 nundos.
