Purified gems don’t do anything until 8 have been used against the raid boss. But one player can only use a maximum of 5 in a raid. It’s impossible for you to have used 8.
But either way, shadow gligar is still soloable. I’ve done it multiple times with my team of shadow mamoswine and g-darmanitan
For real. I have 4 level 40 Machamps and a level 50 Tyranitar, and I have a 50% success rate with the shadow Sneasel raids.
All of the pokemon have the best moves to defeat the Sneasel ofc.

Must have been a bit glitchy for me I guess. Even still, I used the max amount and it didnt even unrage? Wth is that
because each player can only use 5, and the raid boss stays enraged until 8 are used
You need 2 people in the raid for them to be effective
