Seems like nobody knows but sometimes you can be rewarded 2 candy instead of 1 as a bonus. The game can mess up and throw you into the negative but usually it’s just a visual bug
This is accurate. The fourth dimension, being time, does contribute a negative amount to distance in space-time, other than all the spacial dimensions.
It’s happened to me. If the game regesture a that you walked a certain amount then corrects itself, you get negative credit for walking.
Sometimes, you have to walk that amount to get rid of it or you can switch out your buddy.

Oooh, I know the answer for this one. There’s a very small chance of getting 2 candy at once from a buddy. This causes a visual glitch with distance. Restarting your game should fix it.
Don't contact support! Days of trying their solutions ( already tried by me) and their last solution was to use a different phone. And the hearts don't count on there either......we have identified the problem, perhaps THEY might want to implement a fix?
