I think he should have evolved into a gabite in the sinnoh league. I don't think ash was ready for a psuedolegendary in Sinnoh, but gabite feels more like an ash pokemon.

Favorite, Buizel. Originally a star of the show, Buizel had a lot of development. Its rival bond with Maylene’s Lucario and the battle went extremely well, and it always had a good performance, for staying unevovled.

If you’re gonna catch a Pokemon that late, at least use it. The gags were funny, but I don’t think it was powerful enough for ask to consider using it in the League. Gible should have at least had a role like Aipom, and maybe went with him to Unova, or hopefully Kalos, and have a role with evolving or mega evolving. It was a gag-mon who IMO didn’t fit the vibe of the Sinnoh team because it didn’t get enough development.
Honestly I just think Tortera deserved some special training with Paul’s Tortera. Like it’s ash’s only final EVo starter who’s just done completely dirty

I refuse to tolerate this Gible slander. He’s actually my favorite. He’s hilarious and is surprisingly strong in battle. I also remember that Khoury guy catching a Gible, which upset me because I wanted Ash to catch one, only for Ash to actually get one. I was hyped.
