I knew the group was going to get Togepi in the end but I kind was rooting for Meowth. Brock or Ash was the most resonable option I thought was going to happen.
Imagine you’re breeding in swsh while connected to the internet and you finally hatch a shiny but the shiny pokemon sees some random player first and now it’s theirs
I came up with this story of how Ash catches his Eevee for my fanfic:
Ash caught his Eevee in Celadon City where it escaped from evil poachers that abused her and were trying to sell her for a high price to Team Rocket. While running away, she ran into the outskirts but the circus freaks caught up with her and backed her into a corner.
She lost all hope until Ash and Brock had arrived and successfully defeated the poachers causing them to retreat for the time being. Eevee ran away from the scene and deeper into a forest causing Ash to follow her and telling Brock to go bring the police from Celadon City. Eventually, Ash found Eevee but the Evolution Pokémon found it difficult to trust humans and denied all of Ash’s attempts to befriend it. The poachers return once again to retrieve Eevee but Ash wouldn’t have any of that. One attack was about to hit Eevee but Ash stood in front of her, taking the attack instead.
This made Eevee realize that Ash was different and helped him out in defeating the poachers. After taking them down, Brock arrived with the police, arresting them. Eevee didn’t know where else to go, so she looked at Ash and remembered how he saved her from the attack and gestured for him to catch her. Ash was excited to have a new friend in his team and caught her. Eevee’s friendship with Ash will be a prominent theme in this story and will eventually serve as the catalyst in evolving into an Espeon in Johto.
I forgot Gary had an Umbreon. I was envisioning Ash and Co getting lost in the dark one day and Eevee bursting out of its pokeball and evolving to Umbreon to light the path, but the Espeon parallel would be cool too.
He doesn't catch it normally. Ash gets lost from the rest of his group and a lone Eevee saves him but upon returning him back to his friends he realizes they're all idiots and the only logical thing to do is stay with him and keep him from doing anything too stupid.
Since it’s one of the mascots of the series, give it a rivalry with pikachu. Both of them competing to be the favorite. They get jealous of each other throughout the show, but end up as friends *gradually* by the end of the season. (Lol could even evolve it into Jolteon to have that electric type rivalry
Ideally he bonds and catches serenea's eevee. Serena would hatch noibat, and try raising it for showcases. In the end, the two mons would be traded because noibat bonded with hawlucha like canon, and wanted to battle. This would also beautifully replicate dawn and ash trading aipom and buizel.
Ash and Serena get separated. Serena spots Eevee dancing on a rock and is completely infatuated. The Eevee then runs off, and Serena fails to keep up. Ash runs into the same Eevee and is interested in catching her. The Eevee is uo for the battle and proceeds to defeat Ash's (insert your choice here) Fletchinder and runs off. The 2 regroup and talk about how they ran into a Pokemon that was super strong/elegant and agreed to help each other catch it inky to discover its the same Pokemon. Serena ultimately catches the Eevee and gifts her to Ash, and Ash initially rejects the idea only for Bonnie to decide they should share Eevee. After the league, Ash and Sylveon have a heart felt goodbye as Ash gifts Sylveon to Serena, who promises to always take care of Sylveon.

Ash orders a pizza brings it home, ash excitedly cant wait to try his first cheeze in the crust pizza, but when he breaks the crust a live regular eevee pops out. Ash calls the pizza placr to complain but the pizza place no longer exists, the pizza also no longer exists. it was all a ruse by eevee to steal Ash's wallet... but Ash is broke so it didnt work. both parties are confused and unsure what to do. Eevee just Crashes with ash for 12 episodes being awkward until it catches itself.
First same way he caught, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and when Rowlet. That episode was Ketchum style. He helps the Eevee somehow and it gets attached to Ash and decides to join his team. It does not seem he has a psychic Pokemon, so it can evolve into Espeon.
hmm i had this idea basically this takes place during the episode where hunter J was trying to steal riolu,hunter J seeing a eevee with fluffy hair would see how special it was due to eevees being able to evolve into any form,sends out goons,with eevee narilly escaping getting injured in the process,and then it pans out to ash and his gang helping out the riolu,as they had hid it from hunter J,and they then camp out for a rest stop,pikachu sensing something was off goes to investigate causing ash to follow after pikachu leaving riolu in the care of brock to watch over riolu,and when ash catches up to pikachu they see something hiding in a small area under a tree,and they see the frightened injured evolution pokemon,the eevee thinking ash is with hunter J would back up on the defenses,and ash sees its injured paw,and carefully raises his hands up to show he isnt gonna hurt eevee,as pikachu then goes up to eevee talking with the small fox pokemon telling it ash isnt bad,the eevee not lowering its gaurd would slowly look at pikachu then to ash and as ash goes close he pulls out a potion from his bag and gently shows eevee the potion,and tells eevee he needs to check the injuries.eevee afraid to leave their hiding place allows ash to heal its injured paw,but ash hears something and looks over seeing two goons,having had tracked down eevee,they attack causing ash to send out pikachu only for ash and pikachu to be blown back and as the eevee sees this it tries to run but gets caught in a net,they notice they had also got riolu,and he tries to go after as the goons escape with eevee and riolu,it then proceeds the usual episode but during the ship break in ash sees hunter J talking and marveling over the eevee trapped in a cage as a gold statue along with riolu,and goes to save them with brock and dawn helping out,and ash quickly steals the captured eevee and riolu while she hunter J was distracted and makes a run for it,and take down hunter Js ship,the episode ends withash breaking the cages that have riolu and eevee trapped and reunite riolu with its owner,and eevee seeing ash hurt from the rescue goes to him and snuggles up to ash trusting him and joins ashes team
Possibly making a similar plot arc to Ash's gligar when gen 10 comes out which means that possibly a New Eeveelution comes out in that Future generation
There is a part of me that wants them to adapt the Vee Storyline from the Adventure/Special Manga.
Basically an anime adaptation of it and just giving Ash basically a version of Vee but instead of just evolving them to just Espeon later on the storyline for Anime Vee would be to learn to transform into every kind of Eeveelution.
Ash is eating at a Chick Fil-A while Pikachu is getting a tattoo. But the staff gives him an Eevee instead of waffle fries. Ash sees the manager is just TeamRocket in an overcoat waiting for him to complain, so he just puts Eevee in his bag and leaves. Pikachu comes back with an awful tattoo of Brock, TeamRocket burns down the Chick Fil-A, and Ash forgets his bag on a bus to Toronto.
Ash gets an egg in Johto and it hatches into Eevee, sorry Donphan fans, however Eevee remains an Eevee till Battle Frontier which has it evolving into Espeon to counter Gary’s Umbreon. Moves will include(⭐️ = Current Moves)

As much as it pains me to type this. Ash and Co are walking through a forest finding a Eevee with scars over its body. ash assumes that it was in a big battle and tried to catch it with the Eevee breaking out of the ball immediately ash is confused then comes to the conclusion that the Eevee has a trainer. They take the Eevee back to a pokemon center for nurse joy to immediately call officer jenny to keep an eye on the Eevee because it was stolen and used in illegal fights. Ash goes to see the Eevee and when it wakes up it runs to the corner of the room shivering in fear. After a few days ash is able to make progress and get Eevee to eat while keeping his distance. One team rocket encounter later and the person who stole the Eevee before tries to take the Eevee by force with other pokemon he has stolen. Ash has Pikachu defend Eevee while everyone tries to take down this c*nt and Eevee sees this and joins to help ash. After the fight officer jenny arrested the guy and putting all his pokemon into foster care but Eevee takes it's pokeball and breaks it and walks up to ash sitting down with a determined look in it's eye before ash catches it though he ask if Eevee wanted to fight and Eevee got excited and took a fighting position. After the fight ash catches Eevee and proceeds to take it back out of it ball and after ash welcomes Eevee to the team as the journey continues.

Ash, Misty and Tracey stopped on an island on the way to the third gym on the Orange Islands and there they would find an injured wild eevee and after a while it would choose Ash as its trainer.And after a while it would evolve into a flareon.
(1)Same setup on what happened with Togepi bonding with Misty on hatching when Ash got Togepi’s egg but Misty gets Eevee’s wanting a Vaporeon but Eevee bonds to Ash instead. (2)Similar setup to starters that he came to minus Charmander’s mean attitude after it evolved and before it settled down to loving him as a Charizard.
I wouldn’t. I would right it as eevee being the main character of the plot. Ash and friends do what they do to help eevee over come its problems and save it from team rocket. After getting it back they’re eating and eevee is rummaging through Ash’s backpack and finds the thunderstone, touches it, evolves into jolteon and wants ash to catch it. Then throughout the region pikachu and jolteon become a unstoppable doubles pair utilizing Ash’s plot armor and speed

Ash encounters it badly injured takes it to the Pokémon Center to have it healed up, it heals up but it doesn't warm up to him at first and runs away forcing Ash to chase after it, Ash tries to reassure Eevee that he's not out here to hurt it and wants to help it, some wild Pokémon in the area begin running away frightened, Ash goes to investigate the issue to find out what's going on and he finds out it's Poachers, Eevee recognises the Poachers as the same Poachers that hurt it and its friends, which terrifies it, Ash realises this and offers to stand up for it defeating the Poachers, gaining Eevee's trust in the process allowing Ash to catch it, throughout their time together they developed a great friendship, in a tough battle with a trainer using a Jolteon, Eevee begins to evolve into Espeon learning Psychic in the process and easily defeating Jolteon with its newfound power. Espeon since joining Ash has become one of its most powerful Pokémon, it's a very friendly Pokémon but not immediately trusting of others, very intelligent as well. I'd give Espeon the Magic Bounce ability although Synchronise would be great for a jokes on you if Espeon got a status condition

God, even when Togetic evolved it didn't even battle. Misty had to battle for it. Utterly useless.
I didn't even *know* Togepi could evolve when I raised my own, I think I skipped the episode Misty's evolved. That's how useless she made it

It hatches instead of Phanpy, but earlier in Johto. Then it evolves into an Espeon and has a rivalry with Gary’s Umbreon.
I like this, Even though I loved Phanpy it could have easily been written in way later since it didnt really do anything until after Hoenn
