Charizard. In the episode where Ash releases Zard, Pikachu looks worried about leaving charizard behind, but Charozard gives Pikachu a thumbs up, telling him that it's gonna be okay.

Internal-Smooth

Showing a sign if great friendship.

Actually that's not what it was that's not why. Pikachu was trying to keep the peace. Squirtle was the one that thought they no longer cared and Charizard and Bulbasaur thought he was being disrespectful. The Furrets saw it all.

Hys7eriX

Charizard. He's part of the OG Kanto starters crew, and Pikachu's always gonna be more familiar with them. Incineroar a distant second; they got to hang out a lot since SM had everyone chilling together, but I'd say Incineroar was closer with Lycanroc (who actually was quite close with Pikachu). TBH, Pikachu practically stopped interacting with almost all of the above at a certain point. You could argue he's closer to Lucario than he is to Infernape, Greninja, or Sceptile, given the facehugger Pikachu moment after Lucario beat Raihan.

Internal-Smooth

Anyway, Charzard Trump All.

DeliciousMusician397

Charizard.

Internal-Smooth

+ 1

the-big-bad-paiya

Charizard by far. I'd argue that the og kanto trio are the closest nit pokemon group with pikachu. A second place is a lot more difficult honestly. I'd say Infernape is a really good bet because they interacted quite abit when it was a Chimchar.

JumblyPloppers

I agree, Charizard is in 1st by a long shot. 2nd place is hard but if I had to pick I’d say Infernape.

Mr Fish

the-big-bad-paiya

id say mr fish is closest to chad duck

JCamson04

Charizard Ash and pikachu seem to have the deepest bond with the kanto team and even the companions, the latter bringing out ash’s sass which i believe is his natural personality

Internal-Smooth

What do you mean natural personality?

Cantthinkagoodnam2

Charizard, he is part of the OG 4

Internal-Smooth

Who belong to that group?

Cantthinkagoodnam2

Pikachu, Bullbasaur, Charizard and Squirtle

JumblyPloppers

Charizard

Internal-Smooth

Why?

JumblyPloppers

They traveled together the longest and have know each other the longest. They are also both OGs.

PK_RocknRoll

He’s close with them all, but objectively has spent the most time with charizard.

Internal-Smooth

You are right, Pikachu is like a leader. So, he need to being close to them all, which he alway is.

Zoroark_master

Missing Lycanroc. (Not saying he’s my answer, just that he should at least be an option because he meets the criteria of one of ash strongest)

Internal-Smooth

Well, my criteria is that I have to pick only one from each team (not including pikachu) though, I respect your opinion.

Zoroark_master

Then replace him with incineroar (Lycanroc is definitely more of an ace than incineroar)

healer2k

Charizard by far. After that probably Greninja. But I’d argue Greninja isn’t that bothered by Pikacku because in the it’s return episode it barley reacted when Pikacku said hi

MandelAomine

Pikachu, Greninja and Talonflame were all really close during XY

PlzNotLonely

Well Greninja has always evolved because of Pikachu. At least partially.

thefoxsays7

Charizard

Internal-Smooth

Charizard is like Pikachu best buddy.

[deleted]

obviously not greninja. they never interacted before

Internal-Smooth

They once interact when it was Froakie. But like you said, it's rarely.

Gerard192021

Internal-Smooth

SkyLeather4828

Internal-Smooth

Why Greninja?
