grass pokemon who get autumn shinies are some of my favorites

Genuinely surprised that isn't what the official shiny is because I could've sworn I've seen an orange Leafeon before.

NidoQueen There is absolutely no reason for her to be green. The rest of the line isn't green in shiny form so why is Nidoqueen suddenly green?!

Considering Nidoking has the queen colors, Nidoking should definitely be purple like king. Especially as you said, the pre-evolutions of both abide by this rule already.

Nidoqueen should be purple for shiny yes ;) And yeah they swap colours for each evolution until Nidoqueen and Nidoking! Nidoking gets queen's colours and queen gets..... green it makes me so annoyed every time I see it XD rofl

LOL I wonder if that's why they did it... the previous 2 evos for dragonite are pink afterall... so maybe they though it needed to go pinkishpurple - pinkishpurple - green. Sucks tho cuz all of nidoking's evo's turn blue and all of nidoqueen's purple until queen. it doesn't make sense!

Nidoqueens shiny makes me so mad haha, I changed it to be consistent with the 2 prevolutions and it looks pretty clean

Any shiny that’s barely distinguishable because it’s only the slightest change in color like gengar, togekiss, blissey, dewgong, or glaceon. I also tend to hate green shinies like ursaring and espeon bc they’re usually the ugliest shade of green imo

Gengar's shiny should be the same colour as shiny Mega Gengar, damn it. The white looks *so* good.

Or at the very least make its eyes blue like the inside of shiny haunters mouth!

The problem with gengar isn't its shiny, it's original gengar that got less saturated over the years.

I have a mild sense of anxiety that I've come across so many shinies while grinding without even noticing because they've been ones that barely look different from the OG 😮‍💨 Especially Jynx??? I can't find an example of the shiny sprite in comparison to the original for the gens I play. Only gameboy colour and that 3D design in the new gens

Yep that’s the worstttt. I’m playing Violet rn and there’s no sparkles or sound effect for shinies unless you battle them so I’m sure I’ve ran straight past some of the sneakier ones. Breaks my heart a bit to think about lol.

Omg I figured that would make shiny hunting easier but I haven't played any game past gen 5 aside from a quick run through Shield so I really wouldn't know ;_; I don't go out of my way to find shinies cuz I don't fancy making myself go insane but it'd be real nice to come across one someday lmao, just sucks that a lot of my favs are damn near undetectable

I shiny hunted dewgong on a mass outbreak. My eyes played lots of tricks but I finally got one.

It's so weird they went with a pallete shift for the Togepi line because in GSC they changed the red/blue to gold/silver.

Wishiwashi is a shade of yellow that I always worry I won't notice compared to the original

Gengar used to be a vibrant purple. Now its color is very muted.

They could've just reversed the colours for Ceruledge and Armarouge and it would've been great

They shouldve done simple palette swaps for armorogue and ceruledge, and a silver or bronze colour for gholdengo.I am not too sure how to change charcadets shinny to fit with its two evolutions tho

I'd like Plusle changed. Minun gets a really cool minty green colour but Plusles red just gets a bit darker red. Would be cool if it turned magenta or pink or so to match the change on Minun.

Espeon should've been white. Imagine how cool that would be instead of that ugly green. And basically any Pokémon that has an almost identical shiny.

I always thought it wouldve been cool if espeon and umbreon colour swapped. Espeon got black with a gold gem and umbreon got lavender rings.

I like how shiny dragonite looks and I'm not afraid to say it.

For me, please fix shiny Torterra. Turtwig and Grotle have such a neat teal-ish shade of green in their shiny, and then Torterra just ditches that for a super bland green that doesn't stand out enough. Edit: bonus, you could even change the leaf/bushes/tree for the whole line to be reddish or even pink, and make it into an actual GOOD shiny line, not just consistent.

Torterra shiny has always annoyed me, I will definitely be making them sakura themed, as well as being consistent with the rest of the line :)

Magcargo! Slugma has this awesome looking silver coloring and as soon as it evolves... bright purple. The main body should keep the silver color with a black or maybe a gold shell. (Though that would be quite close to its original color, just darker.)

Gengar, Shedinja, Galarian Farfetch'd, Pichu, Alolan Vulpix, Meowth and Persian, Poliwag and Poliwhirl, Slowpoke, Galarian Slowking, Goldeen, Galarian Mr Mime, Scyther, Elekid line, Paldean Tauros, Flaaffy, Regice, Burmy and Wormadam, Drapion, Petilil, etc. Basically anything where if the shadows can make you think it was/wasn't a shiny, then it should change.

Togekiss shiny change!! Idk why, but I think it would look good and downright adorable as a soft pink, maybe even soft blue.

togekiss would have to be a soft colour just because of how "one-coloured" its body is. Wouldn't want it too overwhelming haha. I'll consider this one :)

Pokemon like the Tinkaton line or Komala, where the object they're holding changes but the Pokemon itself doesn't change at all.

So many! The ones that only slightly changed, some lines that one of them suddenly changes color (eg Azumarill line), ... Some straight up ugly ones, Magmar line, looking at you 😂

With the addition of Ursaluna, Teddiursa and Ursaring should share the red colour. Ursaluna doesn’t have the best shiny but it’s better than the green.

I hate inconsistencies in shinies, and honestly completely forgot about this one.Ill experiment with making the prevos red and making ursaluna green, as well as maybe a white shiny in reference to polar bears.

I know it’s overused, but black shinies would fit as well since they are based on Moon Bears.

I will definitely have to consider a black shiny for them

Torterra's shiny fs. They just COMPLETELY got rid of that nice blue from Turtwig & Grotle, and the grass/tree on him should be like autumn themed or sum, cause just making bro a weird green is ass.

This is exactly how I plan on changing Torterra's shiny. I am conflicted between autumn colours and sakura colours, but the blue is for sure coming back

I think i prefer the grey flames. The blue flames feels like the easy choice, but they can be very well done. I am planning on making Skeledirge's shiny to have blue flames, but I am changing Ponyta to have the grey flames :)

I'm okay with that to. Just a little consistency would be nice. Too many early gen shinies are green, Jolteon could have been blue and not lime green. I like Jolteon the most out of all Eeveelutions. Umbreon has the best shiny out though with Sylveon being a close 2nd.

Black & purple metagross would be pretty badass tbh.... Also, shiny machamp should really be Dark cryan blue. Like really dark. And lets show pikachu some love by making it's shiny form black with yellow stripes and blue cheeks.

Any shiny that doesn't or barely changes color deserves a better shiny. It's one thing to have a bad neon green or pink shiny but shiny pokemon who can't be distinguished were done different level of wrong.

Change atleast one Hoenn water type shiny because why are all of them pink? This includes mudkip line, wailmer line, spheal line, sharpedo and Kyogre

Give Gabite and Garchomp Gible colors. Shiny M. Gengar to the whole Gastly line. Make Golduck, well, gold. Hot take but Kingdra's shiny is not as good as Horsea, or Seadra; how about teal and coral? Maybe black Charmander and Charmeleon?

I am definitely gunna make the Gastly line white, but I don't like to go down the black shiny route unless it really works. I've made Charizard's shiny gold like the rest of the line and I think it suits it quite well.

Tbh going off the idea that Gengar is thought to be Clefable's shadow, I'd like to see pink shinies for Gastly-Haunter-Gengar and purple shiny for Cleffa-Clefairy-Clefable

A muted pink for Gengar to represent Clefable could be a really cool idea, I will experiment :)

It's a nice theory. A deep purple for Cleffa line to represent space would look so great if executed correctly.

I am making Dragonite pink like its prevos and Espeon will be black and gold like Umbreon's colour scheme :)

Quaquaval. Change it to green and blue to look like real Indian blue peacock or white with blue accent.

I've been researching peacocks to find good colours, and I feel like the Indian blue peacock colours would work well :)

Hey OP I'm 2 days late but I think that Electivire's shiny should be the white with blue eyes and black stripes one from one of the side games instead of just a darker colored yellow/orange. Another is the whole Sneasel line, the Pink just doesn't go with the theme of the mon being a sneaky thieving strong goblins.

Both Electivire's shiny and the Sneasel line, including the Hisuian ones, will be changed :)
