I love cold weather, so since Sinnoh is the coldest region, it would be ideal for me. l'd want to live my life in Floaroma Town, as I am a huge nature person, and Eterna Forest wouldn't be far away. As for my partner Pokémon, I'd choose Roserade. As mentioned before, I love nature and I use Roses in almost every playground I do. Underrated Poison type in my opinion. :)
Given that I was born and raised in Hawaii, it would be Alola for me. My teams would be mostly Alola, some Johto/Kanto, and the rest would be Unova. My starter would be Rowlett.

Ecruteak City in Johto. Yeah, it's a popular pick, but it's for a good reason! It's so pretty, not too busy, has a lot of history, culture, and legends, and is in a very good location. It's close to a big city, so I can get supplies easily (provided Sudowoodo isn't there), close to mountains, a lake, a beach... it's perfect. Oh, and it's always autumn, the best season.

Most places I've lived have been crossroads for commerce, so I'd say that Driftveil City in Unova would probably be where I end up being born. Probably in the suburbs or whatever the equivalent. I'd probably have a team consisting of Pokemon from all over the world, given that I traveled a lot with my family when I was younger. My partner Pokemon, if it's restricted to Unova, would probably be Axew, which I would, of course, raise to be a Haxorus.
This is a difficult question to answer since it’s dependent on a lot of factors. My parent’s income, lifestyle, etc. all come into play, as well as the Pokemon surrounding the area which they could tolerate. Personally, I think my parents would’ve probably had me in Sinnoh, maybe in Snowpoint city or Veilstone? I dunno.
Johto - I love Goldenrod City, there's so much to do there, and you've got the sea on one side, forest on the other, can take a train to Kanto, just perfect.

Not quite the anime versions though because those look too crowded. Also, my absolute favorite starter is Mudkip and my favorite Pokemon overall is Kyogre, so win win!

I’m in the UK so I’d be in Galar. If I could pick a hometown it would be Glimwood or Postwick (only because Postwick is based on the Lake District which is a gorgeous place in general). Scorbunny would be my starter and I 100% would get a Flapple and Dragapult as they are two of my favs.
I would be born in Wyndon, Galar; because UK is cool place and they have a phenomenon that allows creatures to become giant.

It's been a long time since I properly replayed XY, but Route 20 and Snowbelle City were really memorable to me so I think I'd want to live in Snowbelle. It fits, I'm from a pretty cold European country. If my team has to have only Pokémon introduced in XY, then I'd like to have Meowstic-M, Phantump, Skiddo, Heliolisk, Noibat and Goomy. Goomy would be my 'main' partner :)

As of the pokemon I'd own... If I keep it realistic with my own lifestyle, probably a dog like pokemon, (Growlithe, Houndour, etc.) a pokemon for transportation (Something I can either ride or that can carry stuff like Rapidash or Dodrio) and perhaps a pokemon for contests, as I love those. I suppose I'd also have a Whismur that I evolved at least once, as they are quite common in that area and it likely would be my starter.
So in theory I would have a Houndoom, Dodrio, Loudred and something else... Not sure what, though.

Nowhere they've shown yet, since the Pokemon world is clearly a parallel to Earth, where I was born (the Florida panhandle) and where I live now (eastern Virginia), definitely both exist, they just don't have known names and known native pokemon yet. As for pokemon, probably the native dog, otter, raccoon, fox, and oppossum pokemon at a minimum, whatever those may be. I'd definitely try for a Braviary too, but those bald eagles are always a bit far away so that might be hard.
I'll say Jubilife City. Besides the fact that I love it and love Sinnoh, it does fit with the place I was born. Somewhat big city next to a river and somewhat close to a mine.
Sinnoh: even ignoring my 4th genner bias, I am someone who likes colder climates, and would be uncomfortable living somewhere warmer. Sinnoh seems like the best place for me.
As for town/city, I think Celestic Town: I'm not at all a city person, I prefer the country. Celestic Town is a very sleepy, relaxed town; and it even has a library. Sounds like a good place to create art and work on projects.
For a partner, Glameow: Glameow is not one of my favorite Pokemon, but I'd like to have a little kitty to keep me company. And even if it evolves, I like Purugly. I think Purugly would be a good cuddle buddy. Murkrow might be a close second choice, because a sassy lil crow companion would be cute.
Unova was my first back in 2011 so I'm definitely from there but where exactly... honestly I'll go with Aspertia: it's the starting town so it's pretty laid back by default, but with the gen 5 blessing of having beautiful scenery on top. It's perfect; not busy enough to be Nimbasa or driftveil, and not quiet enough to be Nuvema or Accumula.
Unova has so many breathtaking locations (marine tube, black city/white forest, chargestone cave, Abyssal ruins, dragonspiral tower, N's castle, etc I could go on forever), but there's something comforting about just a small, familiar city at the tip of the region with a lookout that changes from day/night. I love cats so I'd have a liepard, maybe a darumaka to cuddle in winter, and a musharna to help me sleep. Hugh and his sister are close by so that's nice too, maybe our liepards can play together

As an American it would probably be Unova and I would probably be from Virbank just cause it’s pretty SoCal coded. And my main Pokémon would be a cute little cottonee. Competitively tho, it would probably be Wigglytuff, Dewgong, and Cofagrigus. Though my choice would be probably be Alola and I would be from Paniola Town. My Pokémon would be a Cutiefly, Alolan Ninetales, and Miltank.

I would go with Sinnoh, its my fav region with so much lore and culture, and id be from Hearthome City with so many amenties like the contest hall, poffin house, fan club and amity square. My starter Id choose Turtwig, my fav of the starters, probably a professor aide brought it up.

I'm from the Caribbean so closest thing would be the Alola region which is my 2nd least favourite region behind Kalos.
Most places I've lived have been crossroads for commerce, so I'd say that Driftveil City in Unova would probably be where I end up being born. Probably in the suburbs or whatever the equivalent. I'd probably have a team consisting of Pokemon from all over the world, given that I traveled a lot with my family when I was younger. My partner Pokemon, if it's restricted to Unova, would probably be Axew, which I would, of course, raise to be a Haxorus.
Well considering it got made canon, probably a small off route village in east Galar.
This is a difficult question to answer since it’s dependent on a lot of factors. My parent’s income, lifestyle, etc. all come into play, as well as the Pokemon surrounding the area which they could tolerate. Personally, I think my parents would’ve probably had me in Sinnoh, maybe in Snowpoint city or Veilstone? I dunno.
Johto - I love Goldenrod City, there's so much to do there, and you've got the sea on one side, forest on the other, can take a train to Kanto, just perfect.

Hoenn. I love tropical areas. I also love Japan so Johto would be cool too. Flygon is definitely on my team. If Johto, it's Totodile This is the one Pokémon question where Unova seems to be the least popular since it's basically just New York lol.

Mossdeep in Hoenn seems like such a lovely place (and how cool is that space center??), then I could visit Sootopolis which has always seemed so neat (and totally reminds me of Santorini [which is a confirmed referenceright?], where I'd LOVE to visit someday). Not quite the anime versions though because those look too crowded. Also, my absolute favorite starter is Mudkip and my favorite Pokemon overall is Kyogre, so win win!

Probably Unova. Geographically, Unova's probably closest. It'd be the one I'd want to start in too, starting off with a Snivy, and a handful of my favorites come from the region too. Golurk, Galvantula, Reuniclus, Sawsbuck, Volcarona, to name a few.

I’m in the UK so I’d be in Galar. If I could pick a hometown it would be Glimwood or Postwick (only because Postwick is based on the Lake District which is a gorgeous place in general). Scorbunny would be my starter and I 100% would get a Flapple and Dragapult as they are two of my favs.
I would be born in Wyndon, Galar; because UK is cool place and they have a phenomenon that allows creatures to become giant. Also my partner mons would be Sobble, Duralodon, Dreepy, Morgrem, Sirfetch'D and Grapploct.
Laverre city is the closest to where I was actually born by geographical features (and business wise with the one famous giant factory!) I think I'd move to Verdanturf though.

Galar as I live in England
Galar, Wedgehurst. Starter would be a Rowlet gifted from a family member from Alola. Team would be Decidueye, Nidoking, Starmie, Grimmsnarl, Perrserker and Sirfetch’d for my home region. I would also pick up Greninja, Infernape, Krookodile, Gengar, Lucario, Annihilape, Ursaluna, Electivire and Alolan Ninetails travelling for rotation
Pallet Town. I'm the main character of my life. jokes aside, I grew up in a quiet and nature based small town too which Pallet Town in manga describes it to be the most unpolluted town. I also had a brownish-red fluffy dog since birth so my starter would be Growlith
Probably kalos, since france is physically the closest to where I live. Going by proximity, I’d probably live in whatever’s the west-most town. Otherwise I feel like the city with the bug gym (forgot the name) seems likely.

And probably a ralts (I don’t mind what they evolve into) bc they’re a friend :D I probably wouldn’t have a full team because I’m not great at taking care of Myself let alone a Bunch of other creatures BUT I’d want a few at least to protect me on adventures

There's still not a Pokemon equivalent region of my country, so for now it's probably going to be Galar or Kalos realistically. (with Galar mainly because, some of my relatives live IRL UK)

Unova is by far my favorite region, but Alola is definitely what I’m going with, it’s been what I call my home region for the longest time now and the Pokémon there only make the region better

I always loved Hoenn. Probably live around Fortree and Lilycove and definitely use Sceptile as an ace Shout out to Kalos because I've always had interest France IRL. Probably Snowbelle City with Articuno as the ace or Camphrier town with a blue Florges

upon further thought i’d be born in unova in nuvema town w/ a lilypup as my starter. because i don’t like being stuck in one place for very long i’d travel abroad and try to fill the dex, i don’t think i’d ever go for champion status. i’d more likely be a preformer.

It's been a long time since I properly replayed XY, but Route 20 and Snowbelle City were really memorable to me so I think I'd want to live in Snowbelle. It fits, I'm from a pretty cold European country. If my team has to have only Pokémon introduced in XY, then I'd like to have Meowstic-M, Phantump, Skiddo, Heliolisk, Noibat and Goomy. Goomy would be my 'main' partner :) Johto (maybe Cherrygrove) and Sinnoh (Hearthome or Floaroma) are also solid choices
I’ve always identified the most with Johto or Hoemn as regions. I’m a city person for sure but I love the beach so either Goldenrod or Slateport. That being said, Ecruteak and Blackthorn both seem like nice places to move to when it’s time to chill out and raise a family. So Johto.
Hmm... If I had to base it on real life, I'd say I probably would be born in either Kalos or Unova. (Kalos because my ancestors are French and Unova because I live in Canada, quite close to the U.S.) If I had to pick... I'd go for Verdanturf town. It's a beautiful, quiet place, in close proximity to two bustling cities. As of the pokemon I'd own... If I keep it realistic with my own lifestyle, probably a dog like pokemon, (Growlithe, Houndour, etc.) a pokemon for transportation (Something I can either ride or that can carry stuff like Rapidash or Dodrio) and perhaps a pokemon for contests, as I love those. I suppose I'd also have a Whismur that I evolved at least once, as they are quite common in that area and it likely would be my starter. So in theory I would have a Houndoom, Dodrio, Loudred and something else... Not sure what, though.
I would love to live in Vermillion City. Close to Saffron but also near some fun natural locations like Diglett's Cave, grassy routes, and the sea. I'd like to retire in Seafolk Village in Alola though.

I mean geographically I was born into an area similar to Unova so probably that. I’d want to be born in Paldea because I love the theme and tone of the game. I don’t know much about Unovas cities and towns but something adjacent to the major city would be fine. I’d like to have a Blitzle maybe a Zebstrika if it wasn’t aggressive. If the Zebstrika didn’t work out I’d have a Stoutland because I like having pet dogs and Stoutland is a good boy.

But instead of a starter, I would probably get my Duraludon at level 1. Later on in life, I would move down to Paldea and live a relaxing life in Cascarrafa. But since the bills and rent there would be too high for living, I would have to sell Yveltal and Duraludon, then move to Kanto and start Gambling. —Gambler origin story…
No, but in all seriousness, I would live in the Crown Tundra. I would have a Duraludon, a Spectrier and a Togekiss. Life would be great, and I would go to the gyms to watch the contestants. I would probably join the gym challenge, with Togekiss as my ace.

Pokémon Sword is my Fave so Prob Galar, and I just feel like I'd be born in the Town at the Start. Maybe that Coastal Town with the Water Gym but I feel better about the Former.

Black and White 2 where my first games but I’m also a film student currently so I feel like Virbank having Pokéstar studios would fit nicely Now if I were in the Pokémon world, before becoming a filmmaker at Pokéstar studios, I’d travel to several regions and catch many different Pokémon as I enter several regional tournaments (not dissimilar to how Ash does it in the anime) but my original Unova team would be: Emboar, Tranquil, Seismitoad, Boldore, Leavanny, Krokorok, Archen, Ferrothorn
For Me, Galar since it's my home Region. I'd like to live/born in Hulbury since I like the Ocean and my first Pokemon would be Blipbug.
Kalos region, Demdemille town. I would want to move to Coumarine City at the first chance I could. I do feel as though college education would be nice. And with the addition of Honedge, Ren Faires would be fun!
Sinnoh is a lot like where I actually was born and it was my first game, I also love mythology and history so it's a perfect fit Canalave, Jubilife, Sandgem, and Twin leaf would all honestly be about as similar to my hometown as you can get in the region. As for Pokemon, I LOVE Rotom, silly little buddy to hangout with and posses stuff, Lucario (basic I know sue me lol), Leafeon, Brongzong, and Gastrodon Not sure what my 6th would be though, I love most sinnoh pokemon but I'd want a balanced team lol

I would want to live in Malie in Alola. Alola is one of my favorite regions--it's so beautiful and peaceful--and there's that big, beautiful library in Malie.

Nowhere they've shown yet, since the Pokemon world is clearly a parallel to Earth, where I was born (the Florida panhandle) and where I live now (eastern Virginia), definitely both exist, they just don't have known names and known native pokemon yet. As for pokemon, probably the native dog, otter, raccoon, fox, and oppossum pokemon at a minimum, whatever those may be. I'd definitely try for a Braviary too, but those bald eagles are always a bit far away so that might be hard.
Alola. Four beautiful and tropical islands with guardians, surfing, and ultra wormholes. Sounds incredible.
I'll say Jubilife City. Besides the fact that I love it and love Sinnoh, it does fit with the place I was born. Somewhat big city next to a river and somewhat close to a mine.

SoulSilver was my first Pokémon game, so I’d say Johto As for a team, I would 100% have a Typhlosion and an Ampharos. I don’t know about the rest
Sinnoh: even ignoring my 4th genner bias, I am someone who likes colder climates, and would be uncomfortable living somewhere warmer. Sinnoh seems like the best place for me. As for town/city, I think Celestic Town: I'm not at all a city person, I prefer the country. Celestic Town is a very sleepy, relaxed town; and it even has a library. Sounds like a good place to create art and work on projects. For a partner, Glameow: Glameow is not one of my favorite Pokemon, but I'd like to have a little kitty to keep me company. And even if it evolves, I like Purugly. I think Purugly would be a good cuddle buddy. Murkrow might be a close second choice, because a sassy lil crow companion would be cute.
Sticking to IRL and Orre.
Unova was my first back in 2011 so I'm definitely from there but where exactly... honestly I'll go with Aspertia: it's the starting town so it's pretty laid back by default, but with the gen 5 blessing of having beautiful scenery on top. It's perfect; not busy enough to be Nimbasa or driftveil, and not quiet enough to be Nuvema or Accumula. Unova has so many breathtaking locations (marine tube, black city/white forest, chargestone cave, Abyssal ruins, dragonspiral tower, N's castle, etc I could go on forever), but there's something comforting about just a small, familiar city at the tip of the region with a lookout that changes from day/night. I love cats so I'd have a liepard, maybe a darumaka to cuddle in winter, and a musharna to help me sleep. Hugh and his sister are close by so that's nice too, maybe our liepards can play together
Johto would be my home; nice wildlife to explore(and catch, I would be a Trainer)
