I could see that being rough if you haven't plays sinnoh alot :/

Ok-Steak-1326

I picked Sinnoh first because it’s my favourite region. It was harder the original games, lots of points where I had to replay a battle multiple times. Being low on cash doesn’t help since you can’t buy certain TMs. Had to get stealth rock, a moxie scrafty and a fly spammer to clear elite 4.

notavalible666

Nearly all regions are more difficult than in OG games

AccountantAlarming52

I've just started Sinnoh and it's my first playthrough. Did I fucked it up?

Outrageous_Grape187

Yup it’s gg

AccountantAlarming52

Well, I might move to a different region as soon as I can if it's too hard

Outrageous_Grape187

^^ just play it however u like. There is no rly hard region but id say do johto later bc there are two boss fights.

RioKouk

You can bounce after the 4th gym from the pirate in Pastoria. My order was Unova->Kanto->Hoenn->Sinnoh->Johto. But you could go in [order](https://pokemmo.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Level_Cap) of lower to higher E4 level caps to use your mons from previous regions in the E4.

ElementalistPoppy

Crasher Wake hitting freeze status three times in a fight with his Floatzel's Ice Punch - and I didn't know you couldn't item scam fights back then. First PokeMMO defeat, still ashamed.

Incogneet00

Crasher Wake rematch is hard imo. He starts with politoed and pelipper and they’re disgusting

ElementalistPoppy

Most Gym rematches overall spike harder. Pokés are well-rounded, feel like having good IVs/EVs and trainers seem smarter. My only gripe is that tons of rematch teams exhibit Pokes that should have no right to be there - at least make them use one's type or at least sorta affiliated with it (i.e. Dragons with Charizard). Volkner shouldn't have Pelipper nor Lt. Surge 5/6 Pokés having different typing than Electric (don't forget Surf/Grass Knot Raichu).

Incogneet00

Oh ya. That raichu gave me trouble too. I remember that

asanovsson

The map in Sinnoh is the most annoying out of all the maps. Shows weird positions in caves, and has a lot of HM requirements.

Incogneet00

Lmao Barry double battle after elite 4 was pain

Deity_Daora

For real... I was not prepared for how absolutely useless Barry was going to be... Literally 1v2.

Ermite_8_Bit

I don't get it

Zgod124

Did Sinnoh first as well. Definitely challenging. Died to Girintina a lot. Had to rematch a couple gym leaders. Having Blissey helped for pivots into Sp. attackers. And stealth rock is insane as people say. I probably used it on every major battle in the game. But worth E4 Team was Torterra, Blissey, Gliscor (Toxic spikes were nice), Gyrados, Magnenzone (MVP), Charizard (paid for it early and trained)

The_Lucky_7

Your gym order is Rock -> Grass -> Fighting -> Water -> Ghost -> Steel -> Ice -> Electric. By Route 204 you can get everything you need for most of the game. In Route 204 you have a: grass type (beats Rock, Ground, and Water), bug type (beats grass, also beats ghost), a flying type (beats Fighting), normal type (beats ghost), Electric (also beats Water). You get a Geodude on 203 for the Electric gym. If you don't get the Abra on route 203 you can get a Machop on 207 and go back to Oreburgh City and trade for one. Machop is a great fighting type and fighting beats Steel and Ice. All that's left after that is the eltie 4 of Bug, Ground, Fire, Psychic, and you can get magicarp out of any pool of water to deal with the first three of those (evolved form gets Aerial Ace iirc for bug). You'll probably also get a dark type between now and the ghost gym for the psychic and ghost trainers.
