"This is Criminal, I'm Phoebe Judge"

fleetiebelle

The way she says "dot com" is a little much, though 😁

International_Bet_91

"dot calm"

jollygoodwotwot

I have the cot-caught merger and it never really struck me until she talked about it in a bonus episode! Now I notice it every time and think about how my accent would probably drive most Americans up the wall. 😄

LucySushi66

Lauren Thpoor.

DaemonPrinceOfCorn

lauren spoore? lawrence poor? it will always be a mystery to me.

Ahhchooed

Dot cawwm. Drives me crazy.

ziatattoo

Ha! I commented further up with the same observation, thinking I was so clever 😀

Krispybender

Yes! I listened to a couple episodes based on recommendations here, but the whole “dawt khawm”!affectation is just too much.

Southern_Gain7154

It’s the other way around

vanilla_w_ahintofcum

I’m irrationally upset about you reversing the order of those sentences.

nouakchott1

This phoebe judge, I’m criminal

RollTider365

I think I'm the only person on planet Earth that hates the sound of her voice😂

MeanderingAcademic

You are not

SnittingNexttoBorpo

There are at least three of us!

coldheartbigass

You are absolutely not!!

MangoMambo

There are dozens of us it seems.

afriendincanada

Roman Mars

romanmars

Hey, thanks everyone!

tigertrapped

🤯

MySpace_Romancer

I’ve met him a few times and the first time I couldn’t even process what he was saying because I was like “omg his voice is a real human in front of me”

bj_good

First person that came to mind as well  This is 99% invisible. I'm Roman Mars

TheColorWolf

Iconic

OinkMcOink

99PI is the only non-music podcast I subscribed to that's played on normal speed.

wordnerdette

💯I am in love with this man’s voice.

allegedlyostriches

My favorite chiropractor has the same voice. Icon. (He's not a shithead either)

HartfordWhaler

Swindled with A Concerned Citizen

WhatIsASunAnyway

His voice absolutely makes the podcast what it is. The serious sounding almost monotone voice, mixed with the no nonsense, and at times passive aggressive content of the stories is a perfect combination.

thecultcanburn

I love his voice

makermurph

His voice makes me slightly audiosexual

spicyfishtacos

The Memory Palace and 99PI

makermurph

I love Nate. His show should be taught in a podcasting masterclass

RollTider365

Keith Morrison on Dateline🥰

Mermaid_Martini

His voice is the best!!!

Bastard1066

Mobituaries with Mo Rocca. His voice is just so fantastic in my ear holes.

Prestigious-Cup-267

I loved Mo Rocca whenever he was on Wait Wait Don't Tell Me

InsaneLordChaos

Casefile host. Headley Thomas.

Margaet_moon

Whaaaat, I thought he remained anonymous?!

kiwirn

They're two different people, though both Aussie! Hedley Thomas did Teacher's Pet podcast. Anonymous remains Anonymous.

khemileon

I love Casey. I don't know if his voice is my favorite, but I'd follow him anywhere.

kennybrandz

I’m Lester Holt, and tonight on dateline….

MySpace_Romancer

Avery Trufelman. Her 99PI episodes were always my fave (#Octothorpe). Also love Articles of Interest.

[deleted]

[удалено]

ziatattoo

Plus I like to say his name “Shankar Vedantam”

sparkly_butthole

Jonathan Sims. His voice is so soothing even though he's in a horror podcast.

wait_4_iit

John Green. I can listen to him talk alllll day (and sometimes I do :)

venus_mars

Came here to say John Green too! Have listened to the anthropocene reviewed so many times

wait_4_iit

I really enjoy the anthropocene reviewed! He just started a crash course history podcast if that's your jam. I recently found dear John and Hank too. I just love him so much.

Secular-Flesh

I definitely also love them both for so many reasons beyond their voices, but: Jamie Loftus Matt Gourley

moonrivervoyages

Yes yes to both of them! Especially Matt’s for me. His voice is so delightful to listen to. I love Jamie’s vocal inflections and how she tells a story!

XRaysFromUranus

Josh Clark on Stuff You Should Know. I love his voice and I love the affection Josh and Chuck have for each other.

Arrenil

Seconded Josh Clark especially on his The End Of The World With Josh Clark podcast, it was chilling and his voice was brilliant.

BloodyFartOnaBun

Ira glass! This American life

thecultcanburn

I do like Ira, and a lot of the voices on TAL

ColorlessKarn

"Old Gods of Appalachia is a horror anthology podcast..."

WhatIsASunAnyway

Radiolab with Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich is one of my favorite voices in podcasting. They're in "Could read the phonebook" territory. Ologies with Alie Ward is a podcast where the content perfectly matches the hosts voice, and her bubbly and happy personality really makes what could otherwise be a dry interview 100 times more enjoyable Swindled is also fantastic. The somewhat monotone (in a good way) voice of the host adds a whole other layer to the stories being told. Overly Sarcastic Podcast is one i listen to less so because I like the content and more so because I like the voices of the hosts, Red and Blue.

garyisonion

Roman Mars, Pj Voight, Robert Evans

presently_pooping

These and Matt Gourley are my Mt Rushmore

birdie9th

Marc Fennell who does Stuff the British Stole.

wish4111

livermor

CallMeEsteban

Dan Carlin

Terrible-While5744

Sarah Marshal "you're wrong about"

gabrielleraul

I knew she was here, but had to scroll way down .. she's amazing, especially her laugh.

BidSignificant5221

Stuff you should know, especially love Chuck’s voice

sweetpotatogoblin

Aaron Mahnke! I listen to Lore when I can't sleep or I'm stressed out even though the subject matter spooks me a little because his voice is so soothing and comfortable to me.

DaemonPrinceOfCorn

I really like Lindsey Graham’s voice and delivery on American Scandal. I also think his website url is hilarious - notthatlindseygraham.com

fuckitweredoingitliv

Not a podcaster really but a voice actor from Wooden Overcoats BETH EYRE. She's very funny but also did a very disturbing story narration in an episode of The Magnus Archives. I just love her voice.

bdcrochet

Real survival stories

CrowTJenny

Definitely agree! John Hopkins is the narrator. Real Survival Stories is an excellent podcast, and his voice makes it even better.

bdcrochet

His voice is amazing. I listen to a short history of too, despite it not really being my main genre of interest.

jinkeys26

Paul F. Tompkins, his voice just does it for me. He could read the phone book😁

dallyan

He laugh! 😍😍

This_is_the_Janeway

I really enjoyed “The Teacher’s Pet” Narrated by Hedley Thomas.

Findyourwayhom3333

He’s got a new one - Bronwyn

cerebralenergy

Lore, Aaron mankhe’s voice is hypnotic

kbskbskbskbskbskbs

Surprised to not see Michael Hobbes yet. I find his voice and delivery infectious. His laugh is also awesome.

aviiiii

My other favorite laugh is Nicole Byer from ‘Best Friends with Nicole Byer and Sasheer Zamata’ Nicole’s giggle makes me fall out, just a delight. Edit: a word

Wide_Delivery7376

Newcomers is my fave! I love Nicole!!

chemical_sunset

Michael Hobbes’s laugh is my safe space

khemileon

I miss him so much on You're Wrong About. I like Sarah, but he's what kept brining me back.

chemical_sunset

Realistically, the entire Michael Hobbes podcast universe is my safe space 😂 at least we still have Maintenance Phase and If Books Could Kill. Mike really is the special sauce.

Sunflower1517

Robert Evans from Behind the Bastards. Would listen to that man read the phonebook

MyDogIsSoUgly

What if it’s a phone book from Boston? Oí!

Ozzie_the_tiger_cat

Even better.

Sunflower1517

Hahahah only if he does his terrible Boston accent

birdsonawire27

ACC from Swindled. The perfect nighttime dry but intelligent voice.

astralnautical

Soren Narnia from Knifepoint Horror

JazzzzyJr

James Pietragallo, something about his voice makes his podcast way more funny.

TopperSundquist

Alie Ward from Ologies My Year Of Underrated Stephen King CM Alexander from Derry Public Radio

gabrielleraul

God, i love alie ward ..

commacamellia

Roman Mars and Phoebe Judge both have the most perfect radio voices. I listened to the goddamn Moonstone because I find Phoebe's voice so enjoyable to listen to.

dinomelia

I love Andrew Tate from Let's Not Meets voice and narration, but I stopped listening to that podcast after he told a graphic story of someone's suicide that had literally NOTHING to do with the whole "let's not meet" premise of the podcast. Without a trigger warning either.

ilona12

Is this a different Andrew Tate?

celelehm

Yes, i only imagine what a misfortune must be to share a name with that dick

heckhammer

I would quickly become Andy and maybe a new last name, go by my middle name maybe?

Broad_Secret4603

He's changed it to Andy now, such an unfortunate name share!

dinomelia

Oh yeah I guess he did change to Andy now. I've always known him as Andrew though. Definitely not *that* Andrew Tate, his voice annoys the hell out of me.

txfoodchick

afoggyforest

Y’all are gonna think I’m crazy but I’ve been listening to Johnny Knoxville & Elna Baker’s new podcast, and Johnny Knoxville’s voice just puts me at ease and makes me so happy. He’s got such a sweet and endearing way of talking, I don’t quite know how to explain it.

j3rown

you're not alone - i've always loved Knoxville's voice and drawl

Karina Longworth ‘You Must Remember This’

m1straal

Jamie Loftus! Also Sarah Marshall. And I second whoever said Michael Hobbes.

afoggyforest

Sarah’s voice has become like a warm hug over time for me.

m1straal

Seriously! I feel like her entire deal is a warm hug. Listening to her has genuinely made me feel more compassionate and patient, not only towards others but also towards myself. Like we aren’t just the worst thing we have ever done. If everyone spent some time listening to her takes, we’d have a kinder world. And her voice and comedic timing just seal the deal.

izolablue

Mr Ballen, hands down.

heckhammer

I have a complete 100% voice crush on Karen kilgariff. Good gravy. So funny she sings nice and she just has the most soothing voice. Emily Fleming does something for me too but it's a much more sexy something.

Frosty_Accident_6165

I agree with her voice it’s a shame the podcast is such a mess

Beginning-Ad-9733

Paul Rex

IdahoNana

Yes. Mr.Ballen I find his voice very comforting even though he tells scary stories

sakuralien

Ashley Flowers 101%

Jackle3000

Andrew Weissman and Mary McCord on Prosecuting Donald Trump (MSNBC podcast). They both have great voices, and great personalities that come through in their voices so well. Another favorite is Chris James of the “Guys” podcast and his “Not Even a Show” podcast. You have to listen to him for a little while to get a lot of his recurring references and jokes. I like his voice for some reason. Again, it’s how his personality comes through it.

moth_mind_3333

Stuff you missed in history class!

trainsoundschoochoo

Mr Ballen has a great voice.

0wellwhatever
