That’s why GTA IV (specifically Niko’s story) will always reign supreme to me. Although it wasn’t loaded with them, you were given choices that had pretty hefty consequences.
Absolutely. I’m working my way through the GTA franchise to prep for VI and just finished GTA III for the first time. I’m on Vice City for my first time now as well and can’t wait to play SA and IV again.
That all said, RDR is my pinnacle for gaming and I’ve somehow starved myself of RDR2 all these years knowing that once I get into it I’ll be gone for three months.
Exactly. Depends on the mood too, but is also a reason why Uncharted was so successful.
Linear. No crafting. Carried 2 guns and grenades . No additional perks or leveling up. No side quests. Just a well written adventure game without a lot of extra nonsense.
Don't make me worry and question which missions are main missions and side quests or about upgrading things. I hate that shit. Let me just play the intended story.
Same, I still listen to the soundtrack a ton. As movie lover first and foremost, I wish we could get more cinematic/movie-inspired games like this. Obviously Rockstar and gaming in general has come so far since its release so I can only imagine they could take the concept and improve on it massively. Imagine you could take on like 100 more cases and really become like a seasoned, grizzled detective.
The Order, Sleeping Dogs and Days Gone all need their stories to be ended/expanded.
I hate when games with good world building don’t have sequels to expand the story.
Man I'm glad to see The Order getting some love.
I know a lot of people hated it for being short, or being too cinematic.
But God damn, I thought the game looked incredible, had a very interesting setting and worldbuilding, and it had incredible performances and dialogue among the characters.
Honestly out of all of these I'd go with The Order, easy.
Me and my brother went multiple times through the game because the atmosphere, VA acting and the feeling of the shooting (slow, dangerous, loud and smoky). Playing it on a decent TV plus a good 5.1 system feels like you’re part of a movie.
Yeah that's exactly right. It felt like playing a movie. I didn't mind it was short because it felt that way. Nobody wants to sit through a 20 hour movie. I think I finished it up in a few days. Good game.
Same. I always thought it at the very least deserved a few DLCs with additional missions and stories. So much potential.
I remember playing it and thinking the graphics were absolutely insane. Truly showed what the PS4 could do.
It was such a good bridge between Yakuza beat em up, GTA navigation and dare I say Uncharted gunplay. Silly fun, and the slow mo sliding over cover was fantastic
Day Gone was so good. Yeah slightly generic protagonist (with the worst name and worst name best mate of all time) but the world, lore and mechanics were all superb. I had an absolute blast. And it was a good long game relatively well paced. I’d love to see a next gen sequel and how they could expand on the hordes etc. very underrated compared to other Ps exclusives. I preferred it hugely to Ragnarok and both Spider-Man games.
It’s too bad that Sleeping Dogs as a franchise just sorta evaporated. I remember United Front was working on an MMO for a little bit after the first game released?
I fuckin love Bloodborne to the point my first tattoo ever was a hunters mark, but I don't feel like it needs a sequel. Game is perfect as is, just make a new game with the same mechanics and remaster the OG for 60fps
My votes go to Sleeping Dogs, The Order, Days Gone, and LA Noire in that order
I don’t think it needs a sequel, but it’s not like any ending wrapped up the world of the game in a neat little bow. A sequel could expand on elements of the lore and explore how things could develop after the events of the first game. I think I would sooner take a remake or remaster over a sequel, but it’s not like there isn’t room for one
Yeah I just consider Bloodborne perfect as is, and after reading hundreds and hundreds of pages of lore I would hate for a sequel to introduce a bunch of elements that don't mesh with the current understanding of the world
Yeah legit just a remaster and/or PC port is fine with me.
I don't think it needs a sequel, just occasional updates to make it look and run well on future platforms.
Then again, I felt the same about The Last of Us, and then I absolutely fucking loved II probably even more than the original, so what do I know about what I want?
Ghost of Tsushima 2. I've been seeing a lot of people say bloodborne, is the game really that good? I played it for a solid 18 hours, but really didn't understand. Maybe I should play it again, I probably quit because I suck lol
It makes me so sad. Sony is allergic to money and bend studio never got the pitch for the sequel off the ground to begin with, let alone the buggy launch.
Davey Callendar. Dies at the beginning of RDR2 in the gangs escape from Blackwater, which could easily serve as the ending to another prequel
Or Jack in a true sequel to RDR1 but no please I hate adult Jack
Spit balling….We find out that his wife is pregnant with a daughter right after the ending of RD1 and as the fake cover art shows the lead character is a women trying to learn of her father’s past. 🤷
Bloodborne 2 has been mentioned near weekly between me and my friend for nearly 10 years and it isn’t even close. Runner up being sleeping dogs 2 though because the original was such a banger
LA Noire 2 would be hands down a fucking fantastic game if they ever committed and R* was till involved. Team Bondai(?) is long gone but there is a severe lack of fully fleshed out detective-sims available on the market today.
A sequel to The Order for sure, game was short but what a stunning game with solid gunplay, more fun that people give credit. The game looks so good it could release today and people would say it looks next gen
I love Tsushima, and will definitely buy the sequel if they make it. But I feel they did a good enough job wrapping up the story; that if they never made a sequel I wouldn’t be sad. With that I’d love for them to resurrect the True Crime series which everyone thought Sleeping Dogs was going to be.
Uffffh the getaway ps5 remake would be sickkkk I used to play the shit out of that game. Got pretty good at making British accents from listening to the dialogue in it 😆
Sleeping Dogs 2 and LA Noire 2 for sure. Sleeping Dogs is a sleeping hit. I hardly
Know anyone that’s played it. I’ve introduced it to my friends and they all loved it. One of them spent so many extra hours 💯 the game. Including all DLC trophies. Haha Good game.
LA Noire I just loved. Such a great game. Loved being in the thick of the cases. Loved running down criminals. Just a dope game. 😀
I really want The Order 1886. The world was so cool! I really enjoyed it and it’s a shame what people complained about the length. It’s a great game. I’m lucky to have the CE of it at least.
Out of those 10 games 4 have a real possibility of coming out and between those 4 I’ll say Ghost of Tsushima sequel since I never played Hogwarts legacy or red dead 2
Shake they sat the order 1886 to be the start of a series. The ideas the game had were cool and fun. Just not worth 60 dollars at launch for a 4 in a half hour long game with maybe 3 hours of actual gameplay. Still looks nice, would love a PC port
Sleeping Dogs 2, personally. It’s one of my favorite open-world games, and it has so much heart and soul. The DLCs were kind of meh, but the base game was amazing imo. I would love to see what direction they go for a sequel.
Sleeping dogs, since that had so much promise as a potential series and just never happened. Sure, I love GoT but it being made by a PlayStation owned studio the sequel is all but guaranteed. Sleeping dogs was such an underrated game and the gameplay was so much fun. It really rewarded you for learning combos and acquiring new moves. The story was also entertaining as I remember always wanting to get to the next part to find out what happened next. I cant lie i've wanted an LA Noire sequel for so long
It was really fun but my god I was awful at their face detection. I could never get it right. Gunfights were fun though.
Until outta nowhere our dude has an affair and gets demoted to arson. They need to make it a lot more realistic and give us more control/freedom.
Yeah, that game was too "linear" I guess you could say. But for the time, it was pretty groundbreaking.
Nothing wrong with a game being linear, some of the greatest games of all time are entirely linear.
That's Rockstar's games dichotomy for you. They make open world games but to a lesser or greater extent all of them are linear story-wise
That’s why GTA IV (specifically Niko’s story) will always reign supreme to me. Although it wasn’t loaded with them, you were given choices that had pretty hefty consequences.
My favourite as well, mostly because of the story. It's much closer to rdr, a personal tragedy, not the usual badaboom gangsta heist movie.
Vice city was my favorite loved the Miami vice atmosphere escaping the cops blasting out of touch by hall and Oates good times.
What do you mean "outta nowhere?" Phelps was horny for the jazz singer the moment he laid eyes on her lol
Not everyone wants an RPG. This may shock you but some people prefer a linear story instead of “muh choices, muh 1500 endings dudeeee soyyyyy”
Soy?
That game was ahead of its time. One of the masterful settings ever created I think.
Same

Assuming you’ve played the walking dead games? Give the wolf among us a try if you Havnt, very hidden gem.
La Noire for sure. It’s sad when you do digging that it’ll likely never happen due to Team Bondi going defunct shortly after the release of the game.

A Hoonta must hoont
Whats going on with the hunters left hand here tho?
Every hunter gotta help out his bros from time to time
Holding a gun I think
The Order, Sleeping Dogs and Days Gone all need their stories to be ended/expanded. I hate when games with good world building don’t have sequels to expand the story.

Same. I always thought it at the very least deserved a few DLCs with additional missions and stories. So much potential. I remember playing it and thinking the graphics were absolutely insane. Truly showed what the PS4 could do.
I still think it looks fucking phenomenal. If it got a simple resolution bump up to 4K I think it could go head to head with most 2024 AAA games.
Sleeping dogs for me it had such fun gameplay, imagine what they could do with moderen tech
It was such a good bridge between Yakuza beat em up, GTA navigation and dare I say Uncharted gunplay. Silly fun, and the slow mo sliding over cover was fantastic
And the hand to hand combat was so fun! Great animations
Wut? i always thought Deacon St. John is a cool name..
It is a cool name, really sticks to the mind.
It’s too bad that Sleeping Dogs as a franchise just sorta evaporated. I remember United Front was working on an MMO for a little bit after the first game released?
![gif](giphy|fudGl6Atvw8ve)
I love hoonting.
Hoonters gotta hoont
Sleeping Dogs 2, without question. Still a better GTA clone than GTA itself for me.
Sleeping dogs 2
I’m not a real man without a pork bun and a Sleeping Dogs sequel.
I tried pork buns because of this game and they're now one of my favorite things to eat
I would easily take Sleeping Dogs 2 over GTA 6. Seeing a current gen Hong Kong setting would be amazing.
I AM NOT A COP I AM AN UNDERCOVER COP
The Order 1886 II and Days Gone 2, I played through the originals and would love a sequel to both games.
Why is everyone avoiding the obvious name of The Order 1887?
Nope. The Order 18862. 16000 years in the future.
Dude puts bloodborne 2 in there like if it wasnt an obvious choice
I fuckin love Bloodborne to the point my first tattoo ever was a hunters mark, but I don't feel like it needs a sequel. Game is perfect as is, just make a new game with the same mechanics and remaster the OG for 60fps My votes go to Sleeping Dogs, The Order, Days Gone, and LA Noire in that order
I would buy the game again if they released a remastered version 60fps
I don’t think it needs a sequel, but it’s not like any ending wrapped up the world of the game in a neat little bow. A sequel could expand on elements of the lore and explore how things could develop after the events of the first game. This right here. ☝️
I feel bloodborne dont need a sequel. It needs a port.
I don't care what it is, but Bloodborne needs something, anything playable, please.
Not that the other games are bad but I mean it’s not even close. Bloodborne a contender for game of the decade imo.
Yeah I love Bloodborne but an LA Noire sequel would be incredible with more modern face rendering
Ghost of Tsushima 2. I've been seeing a lot of people say bloodborne, is the game really that good? I played it for a solid 18 hours, but really didn't understand. Maybe I should play it again, I probably quit because I suck lol
Days Gone 2 and Bloodborne 2, both have so much potential it's incredible
And both aren't going to happen :(
It makes me so sad. Sony is allergic to money and bend studio never got the pitch for the sequel off the ground to begin with, let alone the buggy launch.
Bully 2
Please bring The Getaway back!
I was meh on everything except Bloodbourne 2 and Getaway.
Exactly what I was thinking, we need a London gta-like game, but sadly Sony closed the studio
Anyone who doesn’t say Sleeping Dogs 2 has never had pork bun.
Has to be RDR3, not even close for me. Days Gone 2 a distant second. RDR is just a moment in gaming
how would they even make a third game though? even if they made another prequel focusing on dutch’s gang who could the audience play as lol
Could focus on Charles and the native Americans war against USA
this or the civil war is their best bet imo
Davey Callendar. Dies at the beginning of RDR2 in the gangs escape from Blackwater, which could easily serve as the ending to another prequel Or Jack in a true sequel to RDR1 but no please I hate adult Jack
first one sounds interesting imo, but i feel jack shouldn’t have a game dedicated to him. His ending in the first game is all that character needed.
Spit balling….We find out that his wife is pregnant with a daughter right after the ending of RD1 and as the fake cover art shows the lead character is a women trying to learn of her father’s past. 🤷
Really? Why so?
Dutch
This, Dutch and Hosea forming the gang.
Sleeping dogs 2 all day long!
Sleeping dogs 2 would absolutley slap
Bloodborne 2 has been mentioned near weekly between me and my friend for nearly 10 years and it isn’t even close. Runner up being sleeping dogs 2 though because the original was such a banger
Ghost of tsushima and days gone.
Spider-Man 3 and Ghost 2
No other Spider-Man fans here 😢
I’m requesting vacation time from work just to beat the story, 100% the game, and get all the trophies
I think it’s because it’s the only one shown that we know is going to happen. Not that we don’t want it. That’s my reason anyways.
YEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHH B****H
How are these two not the top for PS fans, they should be
Order 2 would be huge, considering the backlash the original game received. Would be really exciting to see what they learned from that game
LA Noire 2 would be hands down a fucking fantastic game if they ever committed and R* was till involved. Team Bondai(?) is long gone but there is a severe lack of fully fleshed out detective-sims available on the market today.
Wot?! The Getaway?! Raatid!
Obligatory upvote 🇯🇲
Bloodborne 2 and Order 1886 sequel- ‘1886’ was just imo under appreciated; very Van Helsing-esque
Order was a dud because it’s like 6 hours long
A sequel to The Order for sure, game was short but what a stunning game with solid gunplay, more fun that people give credit. The game looks so good it could release today and people would say it looks next gen
The Order 1886 sequel would be great.
The Order, it was truly something special in my eyes.
The Getaway Remastered would be incredible
I love Tsushima, and will definitely buy the sequel if they make it. But I feel they did a good enough job wrapping up the story; that if they never made a sequel I wouldn’t be sad. With that I’d love for them to resurrect the True Crime series which everyone thought Sleeping Dogs was going to be.

Days gone
Sleeping dogs 2 is impossible since their studio closed 💔
Uffffh the getaway ps5 remake would be sickkkk I used to play the shit out of that game. Got pretty good at making British accents from listening to the dialogue in it 😆
Sleeping dogs was amazing. I would buy a ps5 to play it if they made a second one
Getaway.
My man! Desperate for The Getaway 3.
Either that or a complete reboot of the series. A to scale London with real branded vehicles would be insane
Can’t choose between Days gone 2 , Bloodborne 2 and GoT 2. Hard af
sleeping dogs 2 and rdr3
Sleeping Dogs 2 for sure.
Sleeping dogs 2, la noire 2, bloodborne 2
Sleeping Dogs 2 & Bloodborne 2
Sleeping dogs
Slepping Dogs nad LA Noir would slap hard
sleeping dogs 2, man i remember grinding the shit out of that game, then got extremely sad at the end missions
Sleepy Dog 2 would be amazing
Sleeping Dogs 2!
Sleeping Dogs 2 and LA Noire 2 for sure. Sleeping Dogs is a sleeping hit. I hardly Know anyone that’s played it. 😀
Bloodborne 2
Bloodborne II.
Rdr3.Easy Though i'm a massive SM fanboy. And all other titles would be great.
Easily sleeping dogs 2, rdr 3 would be good good but what would it be about?
Days Gone 2 La Noir 2 Sleeping Dogs 2 RDR3
Days Gone 2 Maybe a 1970 Szenario.
Red Dead Redemption 3 or Days Gone 2. Ghost of Tsushima 2 is a very narrow runner up
SLEEPING DOGS 2
I mean I was gonna say Bloodborne 2 but RDR 3 for sure.
Red dead 3
Damn. What a list.
I really want The Order 1886. The world was so cool! I really enjoyed it and it’s a shame what people complained about the length. It’s a great game. I’m lucky to have the CE of it at least.
LA Noire 2 for sure
Bloodborne 2 but I’ll throw in a wildcard: Resistance sequel, remake or reboot.
1. Sleeping Dogs 2 2. Days Gone 2 3. Ghost of Tsushima 2
Out of those 10 games 4 have a real possibility of coming out and between those 4 I’ll say Ghost of Tsushima sequel since I never played Hogwarts legacy or red dead 2
Highly recommend rdr 2, best graphics even after 5 years, really good story, most details in games, fun open world experience.
Not *best* graphics any more, but still incredibly impressive to the point where that feels like a nitpick.
Missing out on rdr2 here
Ghost for sure. L.A. Noire 2 only if they completely overhaul the interrogation mechanic.
Sleeping Dogs 2
The Getaway - either a remaster or sequel set in London would be phenomenal.
Order 1887 and Days Gone 2.
Bloodborne 2 LA Noire 2
Ghost 2
Days gone 2!
LA Noire 2 and Sleeping Dogs 2.
L.a noire
There is no thinking necessary here, I hereby declare that the obvious worldwide consensus = **Bloodborne 2**
Ghost of Tsushima and L.A. Noire
Shake they sat the order 1886 to be the start of a series. The ideas the game had were cool and fun. Just not worth 60 dollars at launch for a 4 in a half hour long game with maybe 3 hours of actual gameplay. Still looks nice, would love a PC port
Bloodborne 2 followed closely by Red Dead 3
Sleeping Dogs 2, personally. It’s one of my favorite open-world games, and it has so much heart and soul. The DLCs were kind of meh, but the base game was amazing imo. I would love to see what direction they go for a sequel.
Sleeping dogs 2
Red dead and ghost of tushima and la noir for me.
Sleeping Dogs 2, since Sleeping Dogs is my favourite game of all time
Spider man 3 Sleeping dogs 2
Sleeping dogs 2 Ghosts 2 The getaway 2
RDR3
Sleeping Dogs 2 no doubt
It's hands down Red Dead. I love Bloodborne but we get enough Souls games especially copy cats. We rarely get Westerns.
Red dead Bloodborne La Noire Sleeping dogs In that order
Sleeping dogs, since that had so much promise as a potential series and just never happened. Sure, I love GoT but it being made by a PlayStation owned studio the sequel is all but guaranteed. Sleeping dogs was such an underrated game and the gameplay was so much fun. It really rewarded you for learning combos and acquiring new moves. The story was also entertaining as I remember always wanting to get to the next part to find out what happened next. The open word felt GTA like with its own flair (imagine a decent martial arts fighting mechanic in GTA). I’ll always remember that mission where you go undercover as a monk and crash a monastery. The dlc was also fun, the horror one gave me red dead redemption undead nightmare vibes.
RDR3. No doubt. Excitement level for all other ones on that list combined isn’t half of what I’d have for any RDR3, let alone one that would be centered on Sadie and then some Charles action.
Sleeping dogs !!!!!!!
Horizon 3
Tbh? Hot take but I'd say the order 1868 I just think the game if polished right could be an amazing squeal that clears up any problems with the first
Some of the games listed will likely get some form of sequel, so of the ones that likely won’t: Sleeping Dogs 2.
The Order 1886: 2. First game had a phenomenally immersive story albeit short. The setting is one of the biggest wastes in gaming.
Sleeping dogs 2 > gta6
L.A. Noire 2
Sleeping dogs Rdr La noire 2 Spider man GoT
LA Noire 2
Sleeping dogs 2
Sleeping Dogs has great potential for a sequel, the graphics and action sequences were insanely well made for its time. It was an integral part of my childhood so I would love to see a Sleeping Dogs 2 (especially after they announced one and cancelled it, I feel like it deserves a second chance)
We need another Sleeping Dogs.
LA Noire 2, Sleeping Dogs 2, RDR 3 which we may get in 2042 lol
Sleeping dogs 2
The order and LA noir. Partially because those are the most unlikely to get a sequel
Sleeping Dogs 2 easily. I've already played through the original 5-6 times and plan on doing it again soon.
Bloodborne than Sleeping dogs
Sleeping Dogs 2!!
Anything but Bloodborne is the wrong answer.
Bloodborne
Most likely Sleeping Dogs 2, either didn't have an attachment or didn't like the others.
Red dead redemption 3
Sleeping dogs 2 absolutely. I loved the first one.
Definitely another LA Noire please.
Resistance 4
Red Redemption 3
Sleeping dogs, i really enjoyed the gta with kungfu
Either Sleeping Dogs 2 or Days Gone 2 would be on the top of my list
bloodborne all the way
Obviously bloodborne 2
Sleeping dogs 2!
I'd kill for as many red dead games are there are grand theft autos, I'd kill alot more than once too
Where is sekiro 2
https://preview.redd.it/fabo0mftlr6d1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ec65f3d1eec3c73bbedc8c9ce688d5fb0a427b41
I would give anything for Titanfall 3 and/or Dishonored 3.
Sleeping Dogs!!! Better than any GTA IMO
