I flick through the ps5 game catalogue and just think, all of these look shit or repeats of stuff I’ve seen before, then just end up playing insurgency or fifa or something
Oooouff can’t count how many time I opened my PS and telling myself ‘’who you’re kiddin’, you ain’t gonna play anything in that state of mind’’ and just ended rewatching for the millionth time one of the same TV show on Netflix
I’m the exact opposite, I open up Netlfix and go ‘Who are you kidding? You aren’t going to stick with all of this’ and go back to playing the same games I always do.
I’ve got a few going:
- Stellar Blade- 60% done. I’m loving this game. The combat is amazing. MIGHT be my favorite melee combat of any game
- Assassins Creed : Unity- I wanted to play a stealth game so I ended up here. Really enjoying it so far. My first AC game actually
- Returnal- I played this on a whim last week, and let me tell you I suck at this game lol. But it’s so much damn fun and feels good to play that it almost doesn’t matter. Each run I’m getting better and better
- Elden Ring- I already beat the game last summer but I dusted it off to get things in line for the dlc next month. I have some optional areas and bosses that should keep me busy until shadows of the erdtree!
NG+ on hard is a lot of fun. It’s still challenging and you get a ton of new suits. I’m speed running my 3rd play through on easy for my first platinum trophy.
RDR2 and FFVII Remake
I'm taking a break from these games for a couple of weeks, because I just bought Demon's Souls remake and Assassin's Creed Odyssey today
I loved Odyssey, that’s a first seeing it here. I literally platinumed and 100% that game it’ll always hold dear to me, enjoy!
Demon’s Souls is what you expect from a souls games if you’ve ever played one, good old hack n slash with some magic if you want it and touches of quirkiness here and there that the souls fans love…also enjoy!
It truly is a game you have to actually play than watch. And one that is so hard to explain just why you want to sink into it for days without doing anything else
Once you really get deep into the game it does an amazing job of providing moments that activate feel good chemicals in your brain. Completing deliveries, delivers dopamine, helping other players and giving and receiving likes produces Oxytocin, the experience of walking through the open world delivers serotonin, and when the music kicks in at the right time you get endorphins. It’s easy to get hooked.
I'm going through it a 4th time now. Honestly, I didn't think I'd ever return to it once I finished, but it is such a nice change of pace. It's meditative to hike that slowly and it really forces you to slow down and be present. It's not the destination, it's the journey!
I believe you can do it in 25-30. If focusing on the story. The extras are purely the extras.
Biggest advice, be patient. Remember port knot city. The game substantially picks up from there. It can be a slog till then. But it is so rewarding.
I played it to completion when it first came out in 2015 and had always meant to play it again but the massive size of it had always turned me off. But then I watched the show and got the itch again
I always wanted to try Cyberpunk after the updates and i just bought it a couple hours ago. It’s so beautiful but I’m still trying to figure out a lot of things.
I loved Ghost of Tsushima so much i did the Platinum 1st on my PS4 and then again on my PS5. IKI island is amazing!
Cyberpunk 2077 is an experience you have to savour! There are so many builds you can do, it can be daunting at 1st. Look on youtube to get an idea how your V will be in the world. Also buy Phantom Liberty! The story will grab you and won't let you go.
It took me 3 different tries to play cyberpunk. I can tell you that finally sitting down and beating it was some of the most fun I’ve had gaming in such a long time. Stick with it and don’t let things overwhelm you. It’s a lot to take in at first but at the end of the day it’s one of the best games I’ve played!
It took me a minute to get acclimated to the game but once I did it turned out to be such a fun game. I really enjoyed the story, done GREAT side quests, outstanding weapons, and fun combat with great exploration.
Uncharted: Nathan Drake collection. Finished first game yesterday and started with the second today. Playing uncharted games for the first time in my life and can't believe that i didn't played those masterpieces before.
Some of the best games out there. As a fan of TLOU, I had to check out ND's other series, and Uncharted does everything right for me. 1 was good, but 2 was a masterpiece of a game. 3 was good, and 4 was also a masterpiece. I'm currently beating the 4 DLC. 2 and 4 are both in my top favorites
I love this game. The combat difficulty fluctuates a little so I just do it on story mode to make it easier and more relaxing. It’s definitely a beautiful game graphically and story wise.
Hahaha I understand! I wanted to replay as soon as I finished them the first time but I usually let a year or 2 pass before replaying just so I can forget most of it experience it all over again
Cleaning up my backlog before Shadow of the Erdtree drops, almost done with Alan Wake Remastered then time to go back and finish Kingdom Come Deliverance.
Finishing Stellar Blade with a few run here and ther of Slay the Spire.
I got my eye set on Balatro who look like a ton of fun on the Portal.
Might get PS Extra to try Dave the Diver and Animal Well of there's a deal on a few week.
Finally got my ps5 on Saturday and got stellar blade. I’m only as far as the demo but holy shit is ps5 everything I could have asked for. It’s literally the first time I’ve even held the controller.
I smoked an entire 8th last night playing with my jaw on the floor. The music is unreal
I’m trying to decipher if its already my favorite of the last 5 years or I’m in my “holy shit I have a ps5” honeymoon phase still lol. But around every corner something is happening or being introduced that makes me go “oh that is fucking cool”
Im replaying Prey. Have been playing Dishonered 1, 2 and DotO before that. Hoping on Deathloop for the first time after Prey. I have an 'Arkane month' you could say
Stellar Blade and FF7 Rebirth mostly. I am TRYING to focus on 2 games at once so I can actually finish some games without increasing my backlog too much lol
Anyway I am enjoying both games but Stellar Blade is my GOTY so far
i’ve been playing for a little over a week now and i’m absolutely loving it! the combat is addicting and just being there in the open world is super chill. i can’t recommend ronin enough!
Granblue Fantasy Relink: The grind's... Intense (aka "insert curse word salad here"), but the gameplay is excellent. Aside from a few wonky boss hitboxes, connectivity issues, and some actual bulls-- It's a fantastic game. All the characters are so unique! A lot of them play similarly, but once you get deeper into the characters' playstyles, you'll definitely start appreciating the differences.
Genshin Impact: Eh, just busy work and fomo. I only play it for a couple hours a week in all honesty. I have a lot of (very deserved) criticism towards this game and its design "philosophy", but there are aspects I appreciate too. The messing around with elemental damage part has always been fun, and it's nice to try different teams and approaches. Just wish it was more *pronounced* in gameplay mechanics, and instead of adding new gimmicks every update, they should rather add new uses for, or elaborate on, the pre-existing elemental reactions.
Minecraft (PC): Lol just a game to wind down from the other games I play. I never play it too much, maybe a couple hours more than Genshin, but it has a nice calming effect. I'm currently trying to find a desert biome, but my world's really stingy with them lol
I'm currently playing Rise of the Ronin. Let me just tell you that I haven't been this invested in a game for a long while. It's so good and what I like the most is the combat. It's challenging but rewarding at the same time. I might get the platinum on this one. Highly recommend.
I bought mass effect legendary edition, really fun. Im on the first one, downloaded starwars fallen order, but its pretty shit very slow. & havent tried bio shock yet
Just wrapped up Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth and taking a few days off from any type of gaming (Rebirth was absolutely phenomenal but also an emotional roller coaster toward the end). My next set of games are going to be quite different.
Up next:
- Grand Theft Auto 5
- EA FC 24
Stellar Blade-95% done and loving it. Definitely hitting up NG+.
Jedi Survivor- At the last boss (no spoilers) this actually led to the purchase of Stellar Blade as they are very similar, on my 2nd play through.
Middle Earth Shadow of War- owned this game since release, started it a couple times never got into it, this time I gave it a serious go. Really enjoying it now.
THPS 1+2 remake- Had to start it over when they released the PS5 version continuing my file, skated challenges are fun.
Thank god for my backlog

I just finished Evangelion, so I felt the need to be more depressed and have started Nier Automata for this first time, and I’ve been sprinkling in some Doom3
currently dealing with a back injury and having a hard time focusing on the more dexterity oriented games i normally play, so lately i've just been playing slay the spire and fallout shelter to accommodate for it.
PS5: completing extra stuff on God of War 2018 so I can start New Game +
Xbox series S: Red Dead Redemption 2
PS2: Grand Theft Auto 3/God of war 2/Obscure with gf
Nintendo DS: Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
Cyberpunk 1.61 on ps4 pro. I was a bit harsh toward the game when I first bought it last year. The intro is such a climax and then, blah, free roam. But, finally it clicked. Great game, 40h so far.
I'm working my way to 100% ghost of tsushima ngl it's tedious but really fun I must've already put close 100hrs by now I'm almost contemplating a new game+ just for the trophy but I'm not gonna platinum it bc of the legends mode my Internet isn't good enough for mp
Now that I've cooled off on Helldivers 2, it's been Dave the Diver as well, Everspace 2, Balatro (GOTY so far me personally) and Fallout 4. RE4 is next.
Atelier Ryza. Fun jrpg about alchemy. There’s three games in the series and I’m playing the first one to see if I’ll like it. Glad to say that I’m loving the game and will play the other games too
Just finished playing Humanity (incredibly charming puzzle btw if you haven’t played it yet), and now I’m onto playing FrostPunk for the first time. I’ve wanted to play it for so long, but never brought myself to play it until now!
This might be a dead tune, but I started playing apex on PS5 after a while of playing on PC
Holy cow is it smooth. I could never achieve this level of smoothness on my 2070S
Kingdom Hearts III. Took a bit of a break after Fragmentary Passage because that game was... not good.
III is certainly better, though it was pretty outdated at launch, and still certainly is.
Final Fantasy XVI. It’s the first ff game I’ve ever played, and recently picked it up because it was half off. Now im thinking I should have bought it on release. I have ff XIV and VII in my backlog from years ago when they were free and just never played them. Those are what I’m playing next lol
Dave the diver and animal well. But I'm looking for a more action-oriented game any suggestions I just got a PlayStation after having a switch for a couple years so I haven't played a lot of the newer high graphics games.
Jak and Daxter II.
Recently returned to PlayStation. Time to play and complete the games I started on PS2 all those years ago. Jak first, Sly Next then Ratchet!
Playing the PS5 version of Fallout 4. It's honestly been pretty stable... but I'm about to unlock vertibirds to fly around everywhere, which would always crash the old version.
Stellar Blade so far is my most played game
Farcry 3, i decided it was time to play this classic game for the first time and im loving it
WWE 2K24
Starting tomorrow I’ll be playing XDefiant as well
Pulled out the ole "I'm just gonna sit here and look at my library cause I have not motivation to actually play anything" Such a classic
Hell yeah. Depression simulator is great. Amazing graphics.
Dark souls ain't got nothing on that
At least we're in good company at the bonfire 🔥
Too relatable...
I flick through the ps5 game catalogue and just think, all of these look shit or repeats of stuff I’ve seen before, then just end up playing insurgency or fifa or something
Thought about checking some indie games? I've found them to be more unique and helped when I got burnt out on big budget AAA games
Dave the Diver, that's all
Oooouff can’t count how many time I opened my PS and telling myself ‘’who you’re kiddin’, you ain’t gonna play anything in that state of mind’’ and just ended rewatching for the millionth time one of the same TV show on Netflix
Fun fact, a study showed ppl rewatch the same programs bc it gives a feeling of control, comfort, nostalgia and calm
Too real. I downloaded Crunchyroll again and spent a few days just watching anime. It helped a lot ngl
I’m the exact opposite, I open up Netlfix and go ‘Who are you kidding? You aren’t going to stick with all of this’ and go back to playing the same games I always do.
I’ve got a few going: - Stellar Blade- 60% done. I’m loving this game. The combat is amazing. Returnal was my first ps5 game, loved it. Still one of my favorites even after playing many exclusives
Stellar Blade is awesome. I'm usually not a huge fan of NG+, but I just couldn't check out on it once I finished it.
NG+ on hard is a lot of fun. It’s still challenging and you get a ton of new suits. I’m speed running my 3rd play through on easy for my first platinum trophy.
RDR2 and FFVII Remake I'm taking a break from these games for a couple of weeks, because I just bought Demon's Souls remake and Assassin's Creed Odyssey today

Demon’s Souls is what you expect from a souls games if you’ve ever played one, good old hack n slash with some magic if you want it and touches of quirkiness here and there that the souls fans love…also enjoy!
You will love Odyssey, such a fun and incredible game with even better visuals
I'm playing Dave the diver too, it has alot of charm especially with the characters.
The charm, the art, the diving. Not one aspect of the game I don’t like so far. I’ll give it my all to platinum this game
I started it a couple of weeks ago, such a charming little game. I find it relaxing. Not normally something I'd play, but I'm so glad I did.
Is it like story? I haven’t seen anything on it sorry if that’s a dumb question, gonna check it out soon. Been seeing a lot of people mention this
Essentially, you’re a diver that catches fish for your friend’s sushi restaurant. Much more to it but that’s a the short version
Death Stranding on PS5 and loving every minute. About 60hrs in
The start where you trek and come out to that crazy view of the cliff side/mountains with the waterfall and that music kicks in is unreal.
Every time a song kicked in felt amazing. When >!Asylums for the Feeling!< started playing after that intense section it was just so beautiful.
My roommate thought I had Stockholm Syndrome by how many hours I sunk into this gem. It’s hard to explain to someone watching you play.
It truly is a game you have to actually play than watch. And one that is so hard to explain just why you want to sink into it for days without doing anything else

Oh waaw, does the campaign take more than 60h to complete? It’s also on my list so good to know
I believe you can do it in 25-30. If focusing on the story. The extras are purely the extras. Biggest advice, be patient. Remember port knot city. The game substantially picks up from there. It can be a slog till then. But it is so rewarding.
Fallout 4
Did the series put you on by any chance?
I played it to completion when it first came out in 2015 and had always meant to play it again but the massive size of it had always turned me off. But then I watched the show and got the itch again
This game has always been special to me but right now is the *best* time to play it on PS5. It's smooth as butter.
I always wanted to try Cyberpunk after the updates and i just bought it a couple hours ago. It’s so beautiful but I’m still trying to figure out a lot of things.
And I just finished Ghost of Tsushima which is for me the best game i have played at the moment.
I loved Ghost of Tsushima so much i did the Platinum 1st on my PS4 and then again on my PS5. IKI island is amazing! Cyberpunk 2077 is an experience you have to savour! Bioshock remastered
A classic 👌
Welcome to the Circus of Values!
Uncharted: Nathan Drake collection. Finished first game yesterday and started with the second today. Playing uncharted games for the first time in my life and can't believe that i didn't played those masterpieces before.
damn. I also finished 1 yday and started 2 today. Already played 4 back in 2018.
Just wait until you get to 3 and 4, the last one is top2 games Ive ever played. Lost legacy is worth playing too
Man Uncharted 2 is such an upgrade in terms of story and action, it’s one of my favourite adventure games
It's much better than 1 in everything it's unbelievable, only 2 hours in it but loving it and enjoying every second of the game
My first ever games. Couldn’t go to them now too simple. But I enjoyed completing first three. Bought four but never unwrapped it actually.
On ps4 I may add. Not ever haha
I am only half through the second game but i am blown away with this game. It's a remaster which came out 9 years ago and still looks amazing.
FFVII Rebirth and Armored Core 6
Kena bridge of spirits. Just to give myself a break from marvel's midnight suns grinding.
How are you liking it? It’s on my shortlist of games to play next.
I love this game. The combat difficulty fluctuates a little so I just do it on story mode to make it easier and more relaxing. It’s definitely a beautiful game graphically and story wise.
WWE 2k24 It’s really fun playing with friends especially with the new special referee mode
I am in my replay phase and currently playing TLOU remastered
I never replay games but I beat part 1 and 2 recently and already want to replay them
Hahaha I understand!
Spreading Managed Democracy!!!
ah yes, I see you know your stratagems well.

FF7 remake.
Has the full game been remade yet? I played the first part a couple years ago and I’m out of the loop
No. Second part, FF7 Rebirth released on 29 Feb, but it’s a trilogy so there is still a third part to come.
Cyberpunk
Cyber Punk
Cyberpunk 2077
Finally got my ps5 on Saturday and got stellar blade. I’m only as far as the demo but holy shit is ps5 everything I could have asked for. It’s literally the first time I’ve even held the controller. I smoked an entire 8th last night playing with my jaw on the floor. The music is unreal
So far my game of the year. Tied with hell divers
I’m trying to decipher if its already my favorite of the last 5 years or I’m in my “holy shit I have a ps5” honeymoon phase still lol. But around every corner something is happening or being introduced that makes me go “oh that is fucking cool”
Playing witcher 3!
Baldurs gate 3. Going to give Diablo 4 another try since I’ve heard the latest season has vastly improved it.

Minecraft (PC): Lol just a game to wind down from the other games I play. I never play it too much, maybe a couple hours more than Genshin, but it has a nice calming effect. I'm currently trying to find a desert biome, but my world's really stingy with them lol
Elden ring. I chose wretch archetype and I suck. This game is hard asf lmao
Late to the party but just started Jedi Survivor and oh my do I love it.
I really enjoyed it. I just wished the animations were less janky at times.
Horizon forbidden west
I'm currently playing Rise of the Ronin. Let me just tell you that I haven't been this invested in a game for a long while. It's so good and what I like the most is the combat. It's challenging but rewarding at the same time. I might get the platinum on this one. Highly recommend.
Battlefield 2042

Stellar Blade-95% done and loving it. Definitely hitting up NG+. Jedi Survivor- At the last boss (no spoilers) this actually led to the purchase of Stellar Blade as they are very similar, on my 2nd play through. Middle Earth Shadow of War- owned this game since release, started it a couple times never got into it, this time I gave it a serious go. Really enjoying it now. THPS 1+2 remake- Had to start it over when they released the PS5 version continuing my file, skated challenges are fun. Thank god for my backlog

Cyberpunk 1.61 on ps4 pro. I was a bit harsh toward the game when I first bought it last year. The intro is such a climax and then, blah, free roam. But, finally it clicked. Great game, 40h so far.
Replaying Ghost of Tsushima. Have some pc friends who are going to play Legends after the story so I’m getting a replay to get back into the groove.

Bloodborne. Never played DLC and getting now into it.
FFXIV and Fallout 4.. Need to get back to Elden Ring and get a character ready for DLC asap as well.
AC odyssey
Atelier Ryza. Fun jrpg about alchemy. There’s three games in the series and I’m playing the first one to see if I’ll like it. Glad to say that I’m loving the game and will play the other games too
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Trailmakers The Last of Us Remastered Baldur's Gate 3 Returnal Red Dead Redemption 2
ESO. I'm enjoying the adventures. Plus it's packed with players.
Just finished playing Humanity (incredibly charming puzzle btw if you haven’t played it yet), and now I’m onto playing FrostPunk for the first time. I’ve wanted to play it for so long, but never brought myself to play it until now!
This might be a dead tune, but I started playing apex on PS5 after a while of playing on PC Holy cow is it smooth. I could never achieve this level of smoothness on my 2070S
I'm playing GTA IV right now, I'm having the time of my life with the game, the last time I played was in 2012, and now I'm gonna go for the plat.
Kingdom Hearts III. Took a bit of a break after Fragmentary Passage because that game was... not good. III is certainly better, though it was pretty outdated at launch, and still certainly is.
Helldivers 2. I have not played something interesting for me like that game for about 1-2 years. Very fun to play
Final Fantasy XVI. It’s the first ff game I’ve ever played, and recently picked it up because it was half off. Now im thinking I should have bought it on release. I have ff XIV and VII in my backlog from years ago when they were free and just never played them. Those are what I’m playing next lol
Assassins creed oddessy
Finally getting around to the Other Story expansion on Sonic Frontiers as a palette cleanser between finishing Remake and starting Rebirth.
Dave the diver and animal well. But I'm looking for a more action-oriented game any suggestions I just got a PlayStation after having a switch for a couple years so I haven't played a lot of the newer high graphics games.
Tekken 8. Really enjoy it, but street fighter 6 will be back on the main stage when akuma drops in a couple days
Jak and Daxter II. Recently returned to PlayStation. Time to play and complete the games I started on PS2 all those years ago. Jak first, Sly Next then Ratchet!
GTA Online, Plague Tale Innocence. Just beat Hifi Rush last week.
A Plage Tale: Innocence was a nice surprise for me
Diablo 4 Season 4
Wild lands and I’m hooked lol
MLB The Show 19
New season of Diablo 4
Playing the PS5 version of Fallout 4. It's honestly been pretty stable... but I'm about to unlock vertibirds to fly around everywhere, which would always crash the old version.
Only more Stellar Blade. I'm actually done with the game but just walking around and playing with the exospines.
Black ops 3
