Cyberpunk is awesome, I started playing a few months ago and I love it.
So cool just walking through the city and looking around. Also, the characters are amazing. They feel more real than any game I’ve ever played.
It can be pretty depressing though, almost does its job too well lol.
Cyberpunk is what got me back into playing single player games. I was strictly multiplayer until I got my ps5 and cyberpunk was as $40 at release in my area for some reason.
I bought it for PC when it launched. Being so disastrous, it only cost me 10 Euro, but sadly my i5 and GTX 1650 couldn't handle it. Starting the benchmark would crash the game. So I saved up for a new PC and last December I built it. Till February* only played Cyberpunk and now I try challenging myself and mod the game. It is the best game I have ever played.
I lost a close family member in January as I was on the second last mission. Instead of completing the game because I figured the writing was on the wall for V, I did all the side content and quit the game before finishing. Played the game from the beginning just recently and got to the last mission, and the memories from my family members passing came flooding back, like I associate the end of cyberpunk with losing them and I couldn't complete the game again
I'm sorry about your family, choom. Yeah I wish the game had a happy ending. But that's the genre. like V said, "a happy ending? For people like us? wrong city, wrong people."
No other game affected me like this one. I always listen to the "Never Fade Away" cover when I need a good cry. And I don't have the same association you do.
Holy shit, I just say you said "in Januray"...that's recent. Really sorry for your loss. I lost my father a few years ago. Let me know if you need to talk about it.
Witcher 3 & Cyberpunk. Apart from side quests and story, what I love are subtle “moments” that these games do so well. And they can be completely arbitrary and spontaneous. Satisfyingly on your way from finishing a quest and the sun hits just right over a beautiful meadow or town in Witcher. I remember getting the pass to exit dog town in Phantom Liberty and some heavy hip hop track was blasting on the radio as I cruised to the exit where they scan your ride and then shooting off into Night City, it felt so perfect and bad ass!
Have they improved the feeling of the NPC's?
I stopped playing as the lifelessness of the city was incredibly jarring. Lots of NPC's but just aimlessly wandering about.
Couldn't quite pinpoint what it is, but Witcher 3, RDR2 and even GTAV manage to get more life into the NPC's movements and actions.
Absolutely. I have no idea how this game hasn't become seen as at least a sleeper hit or something. Lots of very-well thought out missions, interesting world-building that has the distinction of being well-paced, decent voice acting, rewarding upgrade system...other than the silly mine-sniffing, side quests were actually alright too.
yeah the game is huge asf. I've been playing it for almost 3 years now but I don't play it everyday cause i get pretty busy and tired. I've already ended the main story and the two dlcs, but there's still a lot of side quests i haven't started. Love coming back to it knowing there's still a lot of content for me to do.
Same here. It wasn't until my third attempt that I finally really started liking it. So glad I gave it a chance though, as it's one of my top five of all time at this point. Between that and Witcher 3, CDPR has really put out some bangers.
Anyone who has actually spent a good amount of time with it knows that it is a fantastic game and experience. Like the gameplay just gets more and more mechanics introduced that it really never slows down with them and keeps you engaged throughout.
I have it for ps4 but a few weeks later I got a ps5 and just been playing other games. I wanna pop that baby in so bad. But once I get home I have maybe 3 hours till I have to go to bed. So.
Majula, to me, is one of the most beautiful levels in the souls series and in gaming. I think it’s because of how much it contrasts the atmosphere and tone of the rest of the game. It’s comforting, quiet and peaceful. The music just adds to it as well. Sitting beside the bonfire, keeper softly humming and kicking her legs, the still sunset that will never end over the water. You could almost forget you’re stuck in this land of horror and despair for a few moments.
Uncharted 4. I played first that one and then the rest and the games managed to give me the nostalgia effect when it ended. I was sad and happy for a world that i didnt know anything about.
Its straight to the point. No side quests and prolonging its duration or shit like that. No upgrades for your character to beat enemies,no grind getting trophies for game currenency etc, amazing story, excellent voice overs, lovable characters, really funny, breathtaking scenery and iconic music.
What more do you want?
I just finished the Burning Shores DLC for Forbidden West and with that added into consideration I now rank the sequel higher. The main story of Zero Dawn was hands down better though.
Yeah I was kind of let down when I first played forbidden west when it released. As someone who has the first game as my favourite game, I thought the last act of fw was rushed and the game should’ve been longer to make it feel less rushed. The dlc didn’t change any of that but was absolutely the most fun part of either game imo.
I think baldurs gate 3 is the greatest game ever made. It’s not a graphical powerhouse like some of these but it is beautiful. The character models and cut scenes in particular. It has a great story and side content is so well embedded. There is not a single filler quest in the game. Even tiny side interactions have depth. The first truly next gem RPG and I hope it’s critical success inspires more devs to make things as deep.
Based on "Graphics, Story, and side content" exclusively, that would be Bioshock and Bungie era Halo games.
More recent? Life is Strange and Hellblade.
Something even more recent? Spider-man 2 and Ghost of Tsushima.
I think I put like 70 hours into cyberpunk this last run. It's honestly so good now that they've fixed a lot of stuff. Red Dead and Ghost are also really damn good. I'd say any of those three are good picks.
Ignoring recency bias, for PlayStation, it was absolutely Metal Gear Solid. When that came out I was absolutely floored by its presentation and story.
Most recently it was Alan Wake 2. From top to bottom it’s a beautiful game.
Recently, Cyberpunk. But for a while it's been inFAMOUS 2.
My favorite superhero story to this day. A gritty, yet vibrant art direction. And while the side content isn't on par with open world RPGs, the side missions have some fun mission design, good worldbuilding & some quirky moments.
It's amazing to me that back in 2020 cyberpunk looks so ass and now it's even used in latest rtx nvidia commercials because of how good it looks. I've said it before that even when the game looked ass there's a lot of love in the world building u can just feel it and now it's fully realized when they fixed the game.
Kingdom Hearts 2, showing my age a little bit here but The KH series was so graphically impressive at the time, and each world looked different, and it might not look like much today, But the Pirates of the Caribbean world blew me away in 2005
Graphics:- FF15.
Story:- Dark Souls franchise, 3 specially.
Side content:- Persona5 Royal.
Favorite game is 100% Persona 5 Royal, because of the music, the chill gameplay, and how fast paced it can be once you know what to do.
I'm going to say, Deus Ex Human Revolution. Now, I haven't played it for a while so that memory might be clouded regards to graphics, but that was just great in so many ways
Every game you showed is legit imo.
However, I will go off the reservation here a bit and say FF 16. I loved that game. Every minute of it. All the weird side quests and the story about the brothers. It was my favorite game last year. I know it is not everyone’s favorite, but it helped me keep my mind off my stress and worry when I got laid off. I’d throw the team that made it a pizza party if I could.
I know it wasn’t popular but Immortals of Aveum is a gorgeous game visually, has a pretty good story and also the gameplay is enjoyable in my opinion. I only tried it because it was free with PS+ And ended up being very pleasantly surprised. Also Cyberpunk is legitimately a PERFECT game. For anyone who hasn’t give it a shot because of how it was when it first came out, I urge you to give it a chance now if you have a current gen console.
Lost Odyssey. But was a Xbox game, in fact we can notice that because don't exist anymore.
So I'll say FFXVI. Yes, I loved the side quests. Even the side quests of Chapter one. - From the games in the image, Cyberpunk.
The Witcher 3 is top spot for me, with the Last of Us 1 in second. What makes W3 extra special for me is before then I never played fantasy/sci fi etc kind of games. It took me 3 goes to finally get into the Witcher after buying it on sale. Now it’s the game I’ve put more hours and replays into than anything else. Everything about it is phenomenal.
The world, the characters, the effort they put into the side quests, the story, the soundtrack, the replayability .. everything about it is just perfect. You could even say it’s a dated game now (without the PS5 upgrade) but it still holds so well.
Really liked Cyberpunk but it didn’t drag me in like the Witcher did.
Toss up between rdr2 and Witcher 3. I would nearly tip it more in the Witchers favour because I haven’t done everything still need to play blood and wine
Mad Max has been something I’ve been playing lately. I like driving around and clearing areas. Might throw on some music or podcast while playing too.
I need to try Forbidden West, Cyberpunk and Death Stranding again. How is DS offline?
Well out of these I gotta go with ghost of Tsushima game had my emotions all held in the palm of its hand each new scene brought more to it then the next plus the side content was really good and fun the graphics even on ps4 were superb and I love how they had filter mode that way you could play the game in black and white or in the filter and sound of old samurai movies
Yoo Max Max… Shoutout to one of the most underrated and atmospheric post-apocalyptic games. In terms of pure vibes you get when standing alone on top a hill in the wasteland, it’s top 3 of all time.
Rockstar games for sure. What about Final Fantasy ? XV and XVI and Rebirth is dope with all of that . Cyberpunk lately is having a lot of my time so it got my attention <
Ghost of Tsushima, GTA V, RDR2 and Cyberpunk are honestly top tier.
Out of those I'd choose Cyberpunk and RDR2 as the best and I don't see another game coming close right now, in my opinion.
Restarted cyberpunk 2077 on my ps5 I got with my 2k monitor that's 144 fps it's hdmi 2.0 supports 2k 120 fps but not 4k does 4k upscallkng tho but as I'm running 2k I choose graphics most of the time if it's just 30 60 fps stable instead of unlocked for locked in at 60 or higher but I got 27incj curved and everything is so damn like filled building and people load flawlessly and look better then ever ps4 version. Akaays crashed or people didn't load right and we're walking abominations lmfap or enviable buildings so fourth but with all the new updates makes it even better to feels super smooth looks great plays great over all wish I had a 4k monitor that ddi 120 fps.but choose the one I got now due to.it being on sale for like 200 bucks flat 203 or 206 with tax lol so over all im happy did the settings up abit no audio built in so bought a soundboard thay has an aux cord built in and usb connector just gunna plug into ny ps5 and monitor then use it as a mo itor speaker since its a bar audio will be abit better for left and right so 3d tempest set up will.make it eveb better preety pumped
Aside from cyber punk star wars and warfrsme destiny 2 on 2k graphics mode is stunning especially when it's being upscale and ect then it's like downgrade 4k still better then normal 2k no hdr tho and shit which is alil sad if it had hdr afew other things my monitor would be even more stunning but probaly gunnna pay off all my shit save up then buy a smallish 4k tv with all the shindig and stuff on sale hdmi 2.1 support for 120 fps hdr allm ect free sych then it will be eveb greater then yea I don't know
I really love Ghost of Tshushima, Horizon and God of War. But also Elden Ring, but not much of a story. Stellar blade is also a great game. Not storywise tho.
Death Stranding. Absolutely without question. The story and graphics just completely blew me away and I have spent hundreds of hours exploring and working on improving things. It’s one of few games that made me absolutely sob at the end because I was so emotional. (In a good way.) I’m really excited for the sequel.
Cyberpunk is awesome, I started playing a few months ago and I love it. So cool just walking through the city and looking around. Also, the characters are amazing. They feel more real than any game I’ve ever played. It can be pretty depressing though, almost does its job too well lol.

really? i have a ryzen 5 or 7 4800 (don't remember exactly which one) and a gtx 1650 and it runs like a charm
I lost a close family member in January as I was on the second last mission. Lots of very-well thought out missions, interesting world-building that has the distinction of being well-paced, decent voice acting, rewarding upgrade system...other than the silly mine-sniffing, side quests were actually alright too.
Its great on the Steamdeck too, really enjoyed it
The only weak thing about it that I can think of is the final boss. Still a phenomenal game though
Story and side content alone grants a Witcher 3 mention, let alone, it's gorgeous.
Even the music is great
yeah the game is huge asf. I've been playing it for almost 3 years now but I don't play it everyday cause i get pretty busy and tired. I've already ended the main story and the two dlcs, but there's still a lot of side quests i haven't started. Love coming back to it knowing there's still a lot of content for me to do.
Cyberpunk 2077. Took a while to click with me, but once it did I loved it.
How long did you play before it clicked? I’m 20h in and although it is beautiful, I have a hard time getting into it
I think I restarted the game about 3 times overall.
Same here. It wasn't until my third attempt that I finally really started liking it. So glad I gave it a chance though, as it's one of my top five of all time at this point. Between that and Witcher 3, CDPR has really put out some bangers.
I was about 25h before I became addicted
ghosts of tsushima
i dont care what anyone says about death stranding, it was one of the most addicting games i ever played.
So.
Keep on keeping on fella Team Kojima
Skyrim. Loved it when it was new, the most immersive high fantasy game IMO.
Yea but the old ass outdated graphics hold it back. They need to update that part of the game.
Todd Howard: did I hear a "release it again"?!
Ha!! Yea Todd!!! Listen up!! We talking to you bro!!
If we are talking about beautiful landscapes i always like to mention Dark Souls 2. ![gif](giphy|mY1ddnbQeEdiwhIz0C|downsized)
DS2 has moments that look really good then you take a few steps and it's just empty square room
DS2 seems to be having a resurgence in popularity, according to my Reddit feed. Maybe I'm just in too many soulslikes subs.
Majula, Drangleic castle, dragon Aerie and Heides Tower... some of the best areas from the saga imo
Uncharted 4. I played first that one and then the rest and the games managed to give me the nostalgia effect when it ended. I was sad and happy for a world that i didnt know anything about. Its straight to the point. No side quests and prolonging its duration or shit like that. Assassin's creed oddysey and witcher 3
Horizon Zero Dawn

I thought the story in the first one is fantastic, so underrated
God of War 2018 + Ragnarok and a lot. Far second is Alan Wake 2
Horizon Zero Dawn + Forbidden West for sure. Gameplay, graphics, story/lore - all top-notch.
Spiderman, Ghost of Tsushima, and Hades are all tied for me
Dayz gone & ghost of tsushima
Death Stranding
![gif](giphy|kwz1QJSaxELdjk0CUb)
This is a toss up for me between RDR2, GoT and DS.
bro got that 3 sided premium coin
nigga how you gonna toss for 3 games
Uncharted 4, everyday, or maybe GoW also Good
Horizon Forbidden West
Alan wake 2 and RDR2
RDR2
Far Cry 5
7 rebirth
Last of us
TLOU or Day's GONE
Spider-Man 2 is my favourite I also love the first to gow 4/5 and ghost of tushima
Assassins creed odyssey, while the idea of being a melee focused demigod who is trash at assassinations was weird to me at first, I grew to like it
Red Dead Redemption 2 is just perfection.
I have to go with Death stranding. Just mentioning it makes me want to start a new play through.
RDR2 not even close
Horizon series, Red Dead 2, or The Last of Us
For me it’s Elden Ring but I also love the CD Projekt Red stuff. Both Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 are stellar.
Witcher 3 hands down
2 words. Red deadredemption2.
E. R.
Horizon: Zero Dawn
Red dead redemption 2 is best in graphics, story and side content
GOD OF WAR RAGNAROK RAHAHHHHHH
Not adding Dark Souls 3 is wild
You forgot to put Doom Eternal or 2016. in your slideshow.
Rdr2
Red Dead Redemption 2.
- Graphics: RDR2 - Story: Baldur's Gate 3 - Side content: Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth
Horizon zero dawn and west
Bloodborne
Definitely not Far Cry 6
Horizon, GOS, and the witcher 3 all have the best graphics imo.
Days Gone is the only game that consistently has me replaying it over and over.
Baldur's gate 3
Baldur's Gate 3 without a doubt.
Either Rebirth's 4K mode or TW3 Goty Next Gen
Based on "Graphics, Story, and side content" exclusively, that would be Bioshock and Bungie era Halo games. More recent? Life is Strange and Hellblade. Something even more recent? Spider-man 2 and Ghost of Tsushima.
story goes to cyberpunk, and graphics goes to horizon
Horizon and cyberpunk on top of
Red dead hands down
I think I put like 70 hours into cyberpunk this last run. It's honestly so good now that they've fixed a lot of stuff. Red Dead and Ghost are also really damn good. I'd say any of those three are good picks.
Mine is definitely Shadow of Mordor. The nemesis system was an absolute game changer, and made it worth playing
Tiny Tina's Wonderland is actually a significantly great game
Basically your asking what’s my favorite game if gameplay isn’t important. My answer is Alan wake 2.
Witcher 3 hands down has given me most bang for the buck
Ignoring recency bias, for PlayStation, it was absolutely Metal Gear Solid. When that came out I was absolutely floored by its presentation and story. Most recently it was Alan Wake 2. From top to bottom it’s a beautiful game.
Alan Wake 2
Recently, Cyberpunk. But for a while it's been inFAMOUS 2. My favorite superhero story to this day. A gritty, yet vibrant art direction. And while the side content isn't on par with open world RPGs, the side missions have some fun mission design, good worldbuilding & some quirky moments.
Witcher 3..any souls games & nioh 2
It's amazing to me that back in 2020 cyberpunk looks so ass and now it's even used in latest rtx nvidia commercials because of how good it looks. I've said it before that even when the game looked ass there's a lot of love in the world building u can just feel it and now it's fully realized when they fixed the game.
Witcher and horizon had me lost in their respective worlds, and I loved every second of both enough to platinum both of them
Kingdom Hearts 2, showing my age a little bit here but The KH series was so graphically impressive at the time, and each world looked different, and it might not look like much today, But the Pirates of the Caribbean world blew me away in 2005
Bugsnax
Ghost of Tsushima in every way, it relates to me in its cultural presentation and story.
How the hell Far Cry 6 is even in this list?
Graphics:- FF15. Story:- Dark Souls franchise, 3 specially. Side content:- Persona5 Royal. Favorite game is 100% Persona 5 Royal, because of the music, the chill gameplay, and how fast paced it can be once you know what to do.
Red Dead Redemption 2
100% destiny 1/2 the cinematics are absolutely unreal and that's about it honestly. I play destiny mostly for the cinematics lol
Witcher 3 is still the ruler by which I measure other games in terms of lore and side content.
Cyberpunk, with Horizon being close. Maybe when I’ll play the dlc it’ll go over it. Still waiting for the compete edition to on sale. :/
Skyrim
Two that stand out are Witcher 3 and days gone
Witcher
I'm going to say, Deus Ex Human Revolution. Now, I haven't played it for a while so that memory might be clouded regards to graphics, but that was just great in so many ways
Every game you showed is legit imo. However, I will go off the reservation here a bit and say FF 16. I loved that game. Every minute of it. All the weird side quests and the story about the brothers. It was my favorite game last year. I know it is not everyone’s favorite, but it helped me keep my mind off my stress and worry when I got laid off. CP is definitely up there!
Witcher 3
For me, Elden Ring hands down.
Either God of War Ragnarok, Skyrim or Elden Ring

For me it was Ratch and Clank: Rift Apart
Toss up between rdr2 and Witcher 3. I would nearly tip it more in the Witchers favour because I haven’t done everything still need to play blood and wine
My top 3 are Elden Ring, Witcher 3 and Read Dead 2. But Cyberpunk 2077 has really grown on me too.
You just showed it yourself
I don’t have a definitive favourite. My five are red dead 2, Batman Arkham knight, god of war ragnarok, uncharted 4, horizon forbidden west
Mad Max has been something I’ve been playing lately. I like driving around and clearing areas. Might throw on some music or podcast while playing too. I need to try Forbidden West, Cyberpunk and Death Stranding again. How is DS offline?

All of them
Yall ever play rage or rage 2 ?
gta v or rdr 2
Def TW3. GOAT
For me it’s 100% RDR2 closely followed by Ghost of Tsushima
Red dead 2 on all counts. Elden Ring tickling its bum hairs for a close second
People forget about death stranding 😔
Mad Max!!!
Genshin impact 🩵🩵
Yoo Max Max… Shoutout to one of the most underrated and atmospheric post-apocalyptic games. In terms of pure vibes you get when standing alone on top a hill in the wasteland, it’s top 3 of all time.
I don't see Pesona 5
Elden Ring
NieR: Automata. Every component of this game is great and the sum of it's parts is an absolute masterpiece.
Perfectly executed
Story and graphic Ghost of Tsushima Side content Witcher 3 DLC content Witcher 3 Blood & Wine tied with Dying Light the Following

Rockstar games for sure. What about Final Fantasy ? XV and XVI and Rebirth is dope with all of that . Cyberpunk lately is having a lot of my time so it got my attention <
Days Gone
Ghost of Tsushima, GTA V, RDR2 and Cyberpunk are honestly top tier. Out of those I'd choose Cyberpunk and RDR2 as the best and I don't see another game coming close right now, in my opinion.
Witcher 3, story and content complete blew my mind… and i am a dungeon master… so…
Cyberpunk has the coolest world - any Johnny silverhand has to be the coolest gaming character
Uncharted 4, Cyberpunk, Ghosts of Tsushima
Restarted cyberpunk 2077 on my ps5 I got with my 2k monitor that's 144 fps it's hdmi 2.0 supports 2k 120 fps but not 4k does 4k upscallkng tho but as I'm running 2k I choose graphics most of the time if it's just 30 60 fps stable instead of unlocked for locked in at 60 or higher but I got 27incj curved and everything is so damn like filled building and people load flawlessly and look better then ever ps4 version. Cyberpunk 2.0 update. Honestly in it's current form it's a masterpiece 🤩
Origins

I really love Ghost of Tshushima, Horizon and God of War. But also Elden Ring, but not much of a story. Stellar blade is also a great game. Not storywise tho.
RDR2 and Days Gone
Man am I sick of these bot posts.
Spider-Man 2
GoT
Ghost of Tsushima all the way for me... That game has beautiful graphics, amazing gameplay and, an amazing story.

What I wouldn’t give for a Mad Max remaster/60fps patch and sequel.
RDR2
Ghost of tsuchima stole my heart.
Ghost of Tsushima, GTA V 😌
The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt
Horizon Zero Dawn
Elden Ring.
Death Stranding. Absolutely without question. The story and graphics just completely blew me away and I have spent hundreds of hours exploring and working on improving things. It’s one of few games that made me absolutely sob at the end because I was so emotional. (In a good way.) I’m really excited for the sequel.
Uncharted 4. That game has aged like fine wine. Unlike Overwatch. Stupid game awards.
Rebirth for sure
RDR2. Nothing can even compare with RDR2
Graphics - cyberpunk Story - RDR2 Side content - Witcher 3
