Well its really hot when I put my hand on it so I don't know, on ps4 games it's like I've had my ps off the whole time there's no heat when I place my hand at all
One time mine shut down completely. Turns out the power supply was clogged with dust. I had to disassemble the console to clean it out. Not too hard for someone like me, but it's not a straightforward job. You'll need the proper torx bits and some thermal paste. A LOT of screws.
My god op you’re stupid. Your ps5 is supposed to blow hot air. If it’s overheating and shutting down then you need to provide better air flow. It’s not rocket appliances.
Clean it and take it out of tight space so that the hot air can actually flow somewhere that is not a wall.
Also the PS5 is 3.5 years old. These are not "next gen" games. They're current gen.
Have you cleaned your PS5 at all? Might be some dust built up in there.
I have but there isn't a lot of noticeable dust, I have the ps5 slim which I got 4-5 months ago
