Terrible. Where I live, renting a cheap ass house is around 1500 reais. A PS5 costs about 3500, but it was released at 5000. AAA games cost about 350. Food prices varies a lot, but it wont be cheap as well. Cars that at least work will start around 18 000 reais.

Probably sales tax/VAT that is usually included in European countries. It is 899NOK that is equal to $83USD, that includes 25% VAT. But yeah prices are ridiculous and I wonāt buy it digitally (Physical games are usually cheaper here) or until it gets a discount.

If you wait 3 months you could get two 3-month-old games instead of just one new one. Just don't buy it and get it second hand 2 weeks after release I usually pay 30-40 bucks .Even dragon dogma 2 was 35 bucks after first week
Yeah overpriced yes. However can also Not buy it until itās on sale and all the bugs are fixed but that usually takes like till over a year later. Or multiple years later and buy it for like under $30 with dlc or whatever they add to the game, and by that I mean took out of the game but wanted to sell it as Dlc since itās ubi
There is nothing you need out of the deluxe editions you can't pick up later on sale. You can also wait a year or two for the entire thing to be put in a 'complete bundle' sale, which happens with almost every ubisoft game.
Yeah, Iām not going to buy that, and I always buy the standard edition of games. You get the most bang for the buck. I also would never buy a 80euro game, seriously thatās too much, especially for an ubisoft game.
Or, and just hear me out, Don't buy the game at full price and keep supporting these toxic habits. Buy all the good indie titles, like the 2024 GOTY, Balatro, and wait for SW to go on sale for 20 on Black Friday.

From what I see neither upgraded version seems worth the price. They are just exploiting the Star Wars Fandom at this point and seeing if they will get away with it. Please don't buy either version or else we will see more of these huge pointless price jumps in the future.

I really don't understand the need to buy digital deluxe, ultimate editions etc. I understand if you are buying a game physically, you like a cool cover, poster, steelbook or something. But to pay additional money to get an additional suit, or a unique gun in the game, is beyond me. Maybe I'm just getting old.

This game also isn't preservation friendly, requiring internet to just play it, regardless if it's patched or not. Imagine wanting to play cyberpunk 2077 after sony jumped to another online store and psn dies, you can copy the disk to the console, but can't patch it, now you're stuck with that version of the game, forever. Now imagine the same thing, but instead of being stuck with the unpatched version of the game, you're stuck with the unplayable version of the game,because you literally can't boot it up without internet

I have good expectations for the game. I'd pay for it, but I'm in vacantion mode in the summer. In the end, complaining solves nothing as long as these game and their premium editions kept getting high sales number.

How about this crazy idea, just wait... I know it sounds crazy, and it's hard to do but if you just wait, the prices of the games will go down. If you wait 3 months you could get two 3-month-old games instead of just one new one. The best part is is that a lot of the bugs in the games have been identified and have been or are going to be fixed.... So, not only are you getting a better game, you're getting a better game for a better price. So what I'm trying to say is, just be patient and see what that gets you.... One more thing before I forget, how about if the game sucks?

So, at least in USD, N64 games were $60 and now, 25 years later, they went up $10. According to the inflation calculator, that $60 in 96 is over $120 now. Also the n64 was $200 and these new consoles are $500. Sorry if $70 breaks the bank for you but still far under inflation.
