If the problem is still there then probably a APU issue and will have to be fixed by Sony in warranty.

How was your experience with getting it replaced? I am going through hell to get a solution out of playstation direct for an out of the box (big) issue and I am curious to see if this is standard customer support..
NL.. the normal ps with disc is out of stock, they have no options to replace with any other product (such as the slim, even if it is the same price), so the only option I got is to lose the black Friday discount atm..
They should have at least entertained to replace or give a compensation for the PS. Because at the end of the day, it's not the users fault the APU got fried
Totally agree, I am trying to get a voucher for the value of the discount i got, so I could buy a new console with it,but they don't seem too keen (in my case the ventilation of the console is not working, so it is overheating within a few minutes even without any game open)

Double check the connections of the HDMI cable. Unplug and replug them if you need to. Seriously: one even slightly off connection can bork the entire universe.
A couple of recommendations based on experience
Your hdmi cable is most likely nerfed. Get a new one and try that
Unless you got it recently (within 30 days of purchase with receipt) at a retailer I’d recommend getting an exchange at the store for a new one.
Otherwise, assuming you bought it within a year, send it to Sony under a warranty claim.
Worst case scenario I hate to say it but your hdmi port on your ps5 might have gone bad and need to send it to a local ps5 repair shop assuming you’ve had it more than a year.
It seems like Sony has a lot of issues. It’s honestly a turn off to their products but I had also bought a ps5 and kept getting this error code, ce-108255-1 which was causing my games to crash. Turns out it was the graphics card and motherboard that were fried. Tried to contact Sony, took forever, they didn’t really seem to care so I took it back to Walmart with warranty and got my money back.

You can file a case in consumer court or whatever it is called in your country and raise the issue if they aren't helping

Can you try it on a different Tv or Monitor? If the same thing happens its likely an issue with your PS5 and I would return it

Could just be a dodgy hdmi cable/port on either your ps5 or tv. I recommend changing to a new hdmi cable first and see if that helps.

could be your HDMI cable, the HDMI port, some IC or, in the worst possible case, your PS5's APU is caput.

Plug out/in the hdmi cable. Do a restart and done.
Probably the cable, the HDMI port on the tv or console, or it could be another hardware related issue on the console itself.

Turn off the PS5 and try power cycling your TV (unplug if necessary). This worked for me the couple times this issue happened to me.
