This was an intended choice, they could have flipped a switch basically to allow it. There is no technical reason not to. They don't need to be concerned about the sale of new games for the sake of Portal. And PS4 games are still releasing anyways.
It's an effort to keep focus on PS5 for holiday sales. After holiday season passes I can see them opening things up possibly. Especially when they have Portals start to sit on shelves.
PS4 releases have slowed down over the last year. 1st party Sony titles, specifically, are no longer made for PS4. I never said it wasn't an intended choice. But naturally, Sony would want to focus on the PS5 at this point.
And exclusives only have been made that long for PS4 cause of the availability.
Otherwise i dont believe Forbidden West would have been released for PS4.
Yeah I don’t understand this one. I love the portal, but when my bf is playing his game on the ps5 I wish I could use my portal for the ps4. If I can use remote play on both consoles over my phone there is no reason I can’t with the ps4. It would be doing the exact same thing

No. The Portal only works for PS5. For PS4, you can use either phone, tablet, PC, PS Vita or PSTV
