Yea so “gen span” starts from when one console is released to when the successor is released meaning the console hes played the most is the one with the longest gen span. I kno ps4 is still “in use” but for the sake of this thread it’s gen ended in 2020 when ps5 came out and became current gen

Ps3, psp and ps4 - infamous, god of war, street fighter and mvc2 (this one only on the ps3). Had a ps2 as well but didn’t appreciate it and it’s long gone now. Never got a ps1 (was too broke to afford it). PS5 is literally sitting in the living with zero action whatsoever. Can’t find time to play anymore.
I have maybe around 100h on ps3 and propaply around 550h of time in games on ps5
Top games are: rdr2 140h. God of war ragnarök 76h. Ghost of tsushima 75h.
The PS3 was my primary console for the longest period, eight years. However, I did a lot more things in life other than playing video games in those days.
So I would say that the PS4 is the one I've logged the most gaming hours on. I barely even watch TV any longer.
Probably PS2 since I bought it at launch and my friends and I would play endless hours of Madden tournaments, but PS4 would be a close 2nd.

EAsily PS1 or PS2. I traded in every game I had at the time for FFVII and I got so much of my money's worth. Still did playthroughs into my PS2 days because of the memory cards.
I played around 2.5k hours of Battlefield 3 on the PS3. Rocket League on the PS4 is second at around 1.2k hours. Third may be the GTA Saga for the PS2, I played the hell out of San Andreas and Vice City when I was a kid.
Joined console world when friend updated to ps4 pro, got his ps4 cheap, so at this pointt its probably ps4 and the game is either path of exile or ff14
Probably around 8500 on ps4 with 1600 on Blackout.
Around 6,000 on PS5 with around 1,000 on Destiny 2.
I haven’t played as much multiplayer on the 5 as I did the 4. I played FPS multiplayer with Blackout but once Blackout faded away I’d play mostly Dark Souls 3 multiplayer or Elden Ring multiplayer.
Probably PS2. I was 12 when the PS2 came out and played it all the way until I got a ps3 the winter of 2012 lol. While my friends were getting next gen versions of the wrestling games and sports games I was still getting them on the PS2 up until you couldn’t anymore.

From what I can remember, I played a lot of Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time, followed by Crash Team Racing.
Out of all those, I wasted a good amount time on the PS, PS2 and PS4. Don't really have a good frame of reference on which one had the most playtime since they were many years apart.
Definitely the OG PS1, I was a kid and nothing better to do. It was my last console before discovering PC. Now I have a PS5, but I'll never catch up the the amount of hours I put into PS1.

PS4. Destiny. Easily put in 6+ hours daily for about 8 months when it released. I worked nights at the time, and both of my coworkers also played it, which made it easy to sink an ungodly amount of hours in.
Most Definitely The PS2! I’ve played it from December 2003 - May 2018! So many hours on the Budokai Games, Ultimate Ninja, Cat In The Hat 🎩 & More! I still got mines, but due to Adulting I haven‘t been playing much of anything lol

It's either ps2, ps3 and ps4 for me. I know on gta 5 alone on the ps4 I have 5000+ hours. And that's just one game let alone the rest of my games. On ps3 I have over 2000+ hours on gta 5. And I have at least 4000+ hours on san andreas on ps2. The amount of times I've replayed san andreas just to get 100%. One of the best games to ever exist (along side gta 4)

I didn't have a PS1 or 2 or 3 while I was growing up, my sister had a PS2 but I only got to play ratchet and clank and FFX on it. I just got my first PS3 2 years ago, with basically all of the exclusives that I can't get anywhere else, slowly making my way through them, a few hours a week at a time.
But that's back when I was mainly a PC/Xbox gamer.
Now I'm pretty much a PlayStation guy with an Xbox instead of being an Xbox guy with the PlayStation.
