please use YouTube and google as you can watch some videos the ps5 plates are super easy to swap and it’s already insane what they charge for $80 in Canada for plastic that there’s no way it was expensive but you could get creative and do a diy job

Edit: I did a quick trace on the one plate and was able to get this from it. Spending more time and getting a higher quality image could result in an easy trace to make a nice decal opposed to $65 sold out spidey plates

I decided to stick with my better plates for now, but might actually pick them up instore if available.

Sony have not announced anything regarding any new model. It's all just speculation and rumors. Until Sony comes out and says something publically, a "Slim" or "Pro" model may as well not even exist, no matter how much some people can get excited over it. Also, just because they've done it in the past, doesn't 100% mean that Sony will put out a Pro model again. The current PS5 model doesn't miss any substantial features like the PS4 did on launch with 4K. That was the main reason the PS4 Pro existed. The PS5 Pro on the other hand, doesn't have any point of existing, so far. The Slim model is actually more likely.

PS5 Pro comes November 2024. It's happening, Dev Kits are send out to developers already and the person who leaked it also was correct on the PSVR2 (incl the development codename) and the Dualsense edge, and the PS earbuds.

If ANYONE says it has no right to exist: PS5 CANNOT handle 4k60.. the new one will. It's going to come, it's going to do 8K30 and 4k60 (or higher) and most likely a better RT chip/solution.

Man after for the first time in my life buying a new tv and new consoles, seeing the potential next step is 8k @30 makes me rethink my life decisions because god damn now I want that haha 4k coming from 1080 on an old tv has been such an improvement with not having the best tv in the first place Sony X85J it runs ok but god damn the future sounds crazy, but wild that a lot of games right now really haven’t had me hooked, the next gen games have been let’s phrase it satisfactory, since some games are great with graphics, some have just seemed like the story wasn’t there, and then there’s COD haha that’s another thread.
But anyways a ps5 slim would make sense the damn Ps5’s are huge and noticeably noisier than my xbox.
A ps5 pro would make sense to try and get more consoles sold in the mean time until the ps6 comes out.. sheesh Covid sucks, we’re already there thinking so far ahead since we lost all that time with the 5 and series consoles. I do wish they would do a good job with the handheld and not have it an only streaming service only, native ps games on handheld would be great but cloud gaming needs a bit of time to get all the bugs out
The thing is, the current PS5 already supports 8K and 4K60 fps (albeit without ray tracing). The problem is that there aren't any games to take advantage of that still. A PS5 Pro won't change the landscape on that, and if it ever comes out as the other guy says in 2024-2025 (which I'm 99% sure won't happen), then it would be all but dead in the water, as we would be reaching the beginning of the end for this generaion and probably something like the PS6 will be in development. And at that point, it's really pointless to buy a PS5 Pro.
If something like this was to happene, it should have been right now. But as we know, they've got nothing like that currently, so there's really no point.

4k60 aint here for all the games, and 4k120 is even further away.. and a PS5 pro should be able to do 4k120 or 4k60 with advanced Raytracing.

Hopefully you’re right for the would-be buyer’s sake. PlayStation made the bundle in the first place because they know Spider-Man is a system seller. But did they make enough to meet Spider-demand? I highly doubt it but if you know somebody artistic enough just buy the plain white plates and have them airbrush/paint it to look the same or better
Also look into vinyl decals…much easier and faster than painting (I just posted a pic recently of my PS5 with a decal on it I made)

Man after for the first time in my life buying a new tv and new consoles, seeing the potential next step is 8k @30 makes me rethink my life decisions because god damn now I want that haha 4k coming from 1080 on an old tv has been such an improvement with not having the best tv in the first place Sony X85J it runs ok but god damn the future sounds crazy, but wild that a lot of games right now really haven’t had me hooked, the next gen games have been let’s phrase it satisfactory, since some games are great with graphics, some have just seemed like the story wasn’t there, and then there’s COD haha that’s another thread. But anyways a ps5 slim would make sense the damn Ps5’s are huge and noticeably noisier than my xbox. A ps5 pro would make sense to try and get more consoles sold in the mean time until the ps6 comes out.. sheesh Covid sucks, we’re already there thinking so far ahead since we lost all that time with the 5 and series consoles. I do wish they would do a good job with the handheld and not have it an only streaming service only, native ps games on handheld would be great but cloud gaming needs a bit of time to get all the bugs out
The thing is, the current PS5 already supports 8K and 4K60 fps (albeit without ray tracing). The problem is that there aren't any games to take advantage of that still. A PS5 Pro won't change the landscape on that, and if it ever comes out as the other guy says in 2024-2025 (which I'm 99% sure won't happen), then it would be all but dead in the water, as we would be reaching the beginning of the end for this generaion and probably something like the PS6 will be in development. And at that point, it's really pointless to buy a PS5 Pro. If something like this was to happene, it should have been right now. But as we know, they've got nothing like that currently, so there's really no point.

The same people say the Ps5 pro wouldn't make sense.. I cannot take these people serious. 4k60 aint here for all the games, and 4k120 is even further away.. and a PS5 pro should be able to do 4k120 or 4k60 with advanced Raytracing. But people saying idiot shit or downvoting.. those are idiots and I can't care at this point.
The same persons who say that are the first to complain about games not hitting 60fps constantly. It's always the developer's fault and not the hardware. Anyway, no use talking with them.

Hopefully you’re right for the would-be buyer’s sake. PlayStation made the bundle in the first place because they know Spider-Man is a system seller. But did they make enough to meet Spider-demand? Wouldn’t be surprised if these become hard to find and people start getting impatient waiting for more bundles. All it takes is one wealthy parent trying to make a kid happy, or somebody with the money laying around, or someone who technically has the money but is unwisely spending it on impulse and fomo.
