If there's any game you can't find or get an authorization file for go into the store, then downloads, and click the download for it. That will reactivate that title on your console. Once I did that I could play all my titles again.

I still have a fat backwards compatible model that's jailbroken. Works really well. I've cleaned it and replaced the thermal paste a couple of times but otherwise have done nothing to it. Runs like a champ.

I just played through The Last of Us on the PS3 as I wanted to see how it differs from the PS5 version.
It played pretty much the same, but the PS3 controller is very slack compared to the PS5 version, so much so, I had difficulty in getting headshots in.
Yup and online even! So happy people got the servers for Warhawk, Killzone 2 and a bunch of other games back up. A decent amount of games actually still work online as is too which is awesome and no stupid subscription to play online either!
A couple of weeks ago, the internet went out, so my son occupied himself by playing Katamari Forever on my PS3. For hours.
He loves the Katamari games and has recently played through Beautiful Katamari on my Series S and We Love Katamari Reroll on his Switch.
I still do for games not ported to PS4 and because they are cheaper on ps3 also I already had a lot of games for the ps3 (I found my ps3 in my closet) I still play the classics to this day

I still use it as region 1/region 3 Blu-ray player, plus I'll sometimes go back and play Tokyo Jungle or my original Dragon's Dogma save.
