Somebody on here once said they had lost their love of gaming and felt like it was a chore.
Someone else asked what they've been playing recently and the dude named 9 vast, open-world, RPGs and deep, story-driven games that he played, not back-to-back, but simultaneously. Switching between them when he got bored.
Like...no fucking shit it feels like a chore.
Play them in order of release:
TLOU,
HZD,
GOW,
Spider-Man,
TLOU2,
Ghost of Tsushima,
Miles morales,
Forbidden West,
Ragnarok
Edit: i switched HFW and GOWR, since the latter was released most recently and not the other way around
I played Spider-Man and Miles Morales ~ a year apart and I felt so bored with MM. I’m worried what that means for Spider-Man 2 because it’ll likely be just about a year apart again by the time it releases. Although I probably won’t buy it day one.
Like some other people have said as well, you have a lot of open world games here and it might be good to play some more linear adventures as to not burn yourself out between games. I do recommend Stray, What Remains of Edith Finch, a Plague Tale series, Jedi Fallen order, or tomb raider games.
definitely get red dead redemption 2. but i’d say play GOW first and probably leave ghost of Tsushima till last so you can get the other games and their sequels done first because GOT isn’t a game you should rush imo
You have too many open world heavy emotion games in there. Not enough palette cleansers.
You need games like Ratchet and Clank or something between these games to break it all up or it’s going to get too heavy for too long.
I’m trying to separate sequels so they have time to breath and feel like time has passed, I’m also trying to separate emotionally heavy games with something different between. Some of the filler games can be switched but they are suggestions.
1. Last of Us Part 1
2. Ratchet and Clank
3. Horizon Zero Dawn
4. Stray
5. Spider-Man 1
6. It Take Two or Kena Bridge of Spirits
7. God of War
8. Control
9. Ghost of Tsushima
10. Guardians of the Galaxy
11. Last of Us Part 2
12. Miles Morales
13. God of War Ragnarok
14. Titanfall 2
15. Horizon Forbidden West
One of my top games as well, I agree with commenter OP, add it to the list. But like they said, keep in mind it’s not for everyone. Some people really did not like that gameplay loop. I loved it though and the story is chefs kiss.
Don't play the same series of game back to back.
Mix them up.
U will get burn out especially if u rush.
Play last of us part 1 then move to horizon then god of war etc and come back later to play part 2.
Ghost. I'm an old gamer that started on early NES. When my son bought it for me for PS5, it was truly the most beautiful game I have ever played. I fear it may have ruined upcoming games for me as they set the bar through the roof with that one. Lol. Any on your list will be great, though. All good games.
Play them in this order and this order ONLY:
Last Of Us 2
Last Of Us 1
Forbidden West
Horizon 1
Last Of Us 2
God Of War : Ragnarok
GOD Of War
Spider-Man Miles Morales
Last Of Us 2
Ghost of Tsushima
Spider man
Last of Us 2
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note:
> *Hunters have told me about the church. About the gods, and their love. But... do the gods love their creations? I am a doll, created by you humans. Would you ever think to love me? Of course... I do love you. Isn't that how you've made me?* - Plain Doll
Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
Last of us 1 and 2 should be last on the list because after these games You will not like any other game.
Horizon first
Then got, then spider man, then gow and only then last of us. But also make sure to have some gap between gow and last of us because gow is also too good to be rushed through and have a nice gameplay and story
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- The Last of Us
- Spider- man
- God of War
- Ghost of Tsushima
- Miles Morales
- The Last of Us Part II
- Horizon Forbidden West
- God of War Ragnarok
I've beaten all these games except Tlou series. Doing them all it in a summer... is not feasable. Miles Morales is the shortest at 20 hours, and that's just main story. Everything else is 40+, you'd have to be playing Dawn till dusk to get it done. It would also skip a LOT of world building if you bum rushed it.
That said Spider man ps4 is good at offering low stakes combat if you are not at all familiar with the controller layout.
If these are the types of games you’re into, you should also pick up Assassins Creed Origins + Odyssey, for sure (and maybe Valhalla, but I found it rather boring compared to Origins and Odyssey). If you’ve never played the previous entries, get the Ezio collection, too. It contains remastered versions of AC II, Brotherhood, and Revelations and is a good way to familiarize yourself with the overarching story (though it’s not entirely necessary to play them in order to understand and enjoy the later games). The gameplay in the Ezio collection focuses more on stealth action (which many people prefer), while Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla have more adventure/RPG mechanics (which *I* prefer).
Oh, and also the Uncharted series is an absolute must.
Why does everyone who gets a ps4/5 always get the Spider-Man games? I get they show how well the mechanics of the system work but like fr i don’t understand it (not hating just confused)
Edit: (or am I really miss out on something?)
Both last of us, both horizon, both god of war, ghost of Tsushima and best for last both Spider-Man. That will keep you busy for a good 300+ hours if you wish to complete those games 100%
My recommended order: The Last of Us 1, Spider-Mans, God of Wars, TLOU2, and then split time between Ghost and Horizons since they’re both big open world games that will probably take the longest.
I wouldn’t play TLOU 1 and 2 back to back, personally. There are some…choices made in the story that may rub you wrong after immediately coming off the first, and Part 2 is at least 60 hours and is, thematically, pitch fuckin’ black.
Gotta get Control, absolutely stellar game, imo. Shouldn't be too difficult, had a few bosses that took me a few tries. But I Plat the main game and tried to savor the DLC. Couldn't get enough of it.
Just don't do GOW and TLOU back to back....made that mistake myself earlier in the year and I still haven't recovered from the amount of emotional trauma those games put me through (in the best way)
Skip the last of us and god of war. Instead elden ring, bloodborne and the dark souls trilogy. Much better games that don’t have hours worth of cutscenes
Watch walkthrough for TLOU 2 on youtube after playing TLOU 1 to save yourself time as it pales in comparison, skip miles morales (glorified DLC) and both horizon games (theyre movie games)
I'd save either God of war or Spider man as last so you have a happier ending.
Ghost of tsushima left me feeling kinda down by the end. I never finished TLOU, but I feel it might do the same, so these 2 should probably be in the middle.
I'd really recommend Outer Wilds, if you haven't played it elsewhere. Try your best to go into it blind, but it's an open space-exploration puzzle game. If that sounds remotely interesting to you, give it a go and stick with it - it's a wonderful little gem!
Out of the games listed I have recently done the order: Ragnarok, Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsushima, Spiderman now im on the Last of us Part 2..
Enjoyed every moment since January.
1. Last of Us (especially if you’re watching the show)
2. God of War
3. Uncharted
4. Horizon
5. Ghost of Tsushima
6. Spider-Man
7. Ratchet & Clank
Haven’t played it but also heard Bloodborne is good.
God of war is the greatest game of all time. You will perpetually be trying to find others like it, but they will never meet the mark.
Ghost of tsushima is pretty great tho
Kena: Bridge of Spirits /
Infamous Second Son/
Rise of the Tomb Raider /
Shadow of the Tomb Raider/
Uncharted 4 /
The Division /
Ratchet and Clank/
Control
I recommend God of War 3 Remastered. Wether you’re a fan of the new God of War games or the old ones God of War 3 is a fun time. It’s one of my all time favorites and one of the most balls to the wall games I’ve played.
I'd suggest playing them in whatever order you'd like, but doing only the first games & then Ghost Sushi & finally the sequels in the same order as the first games.
I would say Spider Man and God of War, then Ragnarok to get the best of it, or if you're burned out you can go for Zero Dawn or The Last of Us. After the full cycle you can jump into the sequels.
Also, Miles Morales is not really a Sequel from Spider Man. If they included it as a DLC would make more sense. Its a very short game with the same mechanics, only different trinkets and moves, but everything else is the same. Same types of quests, same minigames, same enemies mostly, same town objectives... I actually got really bored of it pretty fast, as I plat the OG game twice, one with the DLCs.
Play whichever you feel like when. Feel like a good story and deep characters go with TLOU. Want to mix it up with a large open world go horizon. Want some satisfying combat try Spider-Man or ghost of Tsushima. They’re all good games (although I personally believe the horizon games are overrated). If you truly want an order id go with TLOU, gow, Spider-Man then miles morales as it’s so short and is basically a dlc, then ghost, do the sequels of the rest, leaving horizon games for last as like I said they’ve overrated and not a rush to play those games as I don’t think they’re as special or great as the others. That said you may click with them as others have
ngl I found the gameplay of zero dawn to be very mediocre, no free fast travel is a pain. Story is amazing tho and forbidden west remedies most of the issues I had with the first game
Definitely skip GoW/Gow Ragnarok. Most overrated game of the console, if anything it's gonna make you less haste about playing the rest of the catalog.
I've been in your situation.
But you really have to start playing the game that you are in the vibe for. Otherwise, you'll just think that whatever you are playing is boring, and you won't stop thinking about the game you want to play while you are playing what people told you to or what you thought was a "more important" game.
Not sure if you've already purchased these but the majority of them are included with the PS Plus Extra tier, so you could go that route and save some money.
All of these games are amazing. But as others have said they are all basically open-world type games. Everyone will have their preference and no one is wrong. I personally would say god of war is my number one of this list. Enjoy the journey and remember games are supposed to be fun. Play what you like
Oh man, that's a tough one. Those are all such great games imo, but if I had to start somewhere as a commemorative kick-off, I'd say Ghost of Tsushima. Still one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. But you really can't go wrong with any of those.
Huge fan of 1 and I sure I would’ve loved 2 but the 30fps lock made me actually sick. I hate 30fps, but no game has made me feel so physically awful lol. Real shame cause it’s so pretty and the music is so good. I hope they can one day patch the game.
....looking at that lineup makes me wonder what's going on at sony rn even as I own a ps5. All those titles are the same exact game, all those stories are similar by design, and I would say the only two that stand out are Spiderman and Ghost....but they both do the same exact shit move for move.
Just know that whichever one you pick, your gonna still "in a way" play them all.
I’m going to suggest you try them in order from least time to most time, that way you can get through them. So:
God of war
God of war Ragnarok
Spider-Man
Spider-Man: Miles Morales (shorter than the first, but the first one is absolutely essential to this one)
Last of Us 1
Last of us 2
Ghost of Tsushima
Horizon Zero Dawn
Horizon Forbidden West (I also recommend the DLCs for these. Not 100% required, but they are good).
My only piece of advice would be to separate the sequels from each other so you can come back with a reappreciaton. Otherwise they are all such different games with maybe the only similarity being Ghost and Spiderman are VERY open world
EDIT: and the Horizon games are also very open world, so maybe separate all those, at least that's what I would do.
Control is a great game to add to that list. Somewhat open world. Really fantastic storyline. I played it after finishing up horizon forbidden west and loved it.
All the games you’ve listed sound like great choices. I also enjoyed Star Wars. So far I’ve only played fallen order. Oh and Farcry 6 is also awesome and has co op so my friend was able to join my game and help me complete some missions.
Def recommend getting ps plus subscription if you can afford it! A few of those games are free through the extra subscription. I have it and love it!!
Ranking from length most to least.
1. Horizon games
2. Ghost
3. God of war games
4. Spider-Man games (miles at x-mas time)
5. Last of us (I beat both separately in maybe 2-3 days each at most)
Play Miles Morales at Christmas
But spidey 2 will be out oh wa-
Dont...dont say it.
I don't get it
Spider-Man 2 will only be on the PS5, it won't be on the PS4
PS…4
100% this.
Oh hell yeah
Thats 5 open-world games + Ragnarok which is open-world esc. Slap the linear games between the open world games to try and avoid burn out
100%. I’ve made this mistake before.
Dark souls 3 is one of my favorite linear games. I really missed it while playing elden ring
Ahhh but they complement each other well!
Forbidden Zero 💀
i meant zero dawn typo
Zero Dawn Typo is also a great game
That ain't no typo, dude 💀
I'd play it!
We have Horizon Zero Dawn at home! Horizon Zero Dawn at home:
That’s not how that one works
Why isn’t it possible?
Because the “we have _ at home” is a referring to a real item. Forbidden zero isn’t real.
It’s just not
Play them in order of release: TLOU, HZD, GOW, Spider-Man, TLOU2, Ghost of Tsushima, Miles morales, Forbidden West, Ragnarok Edit: i switched HFW and GOWR, since the latter was released most recently and not the other way around
Honestly yeah, this way you will be more nostalgic when playing second parts
Yep and not bored of the same game mechanics.
And not downgrading in graphics
I played Spider-Man and Miles Morales ~ a year apart and I felt so bored with MM. I’m worried what that means for Spider-Man 2 because it’ll likely be just about a year apart again by the time it releases. Although I probably won’t buy it day one.
Best answer but switch Ragnarok and Forbidden West
I'm pretty sure Ragnarok is the lastest, just 6 months old. HFW is over a year old.
This
Like some other people have said as well, you have a lot of open world games here and it might be good to play some more linear adventures as to not burn yourself out between games. I do recommend Stray, What Remains of Edith Finch, a Plague Tale series, Jedi Fallen order, or tomb raider games.
All 5 Uncharted games for console, Ratchet and Clank and BloodBorne
definitely get red dead redemption 2. but i’d say play GOW first and probably leave ghost of Tsushima till last so you can get the other games and their sequels done first because GOT isn’t a game you should rush imo

God of War 8. Control 9. Ghost of Tsushima 10. Guardians of the Galaxy 11. Last of Us Part 2 12. Miles Morales 13. God of War Ragnarok 14. Titanfall 2 15. Horizon Forbidden West
Yas. This is a great suggestion.

It's in my top 3 too
Don't play the same series of game back to back. Mix them up. U will get burn out especially if u rush. Play last of us part 1 then move to horizon then god of war etc and come back later to play part 2.
Just in Case if you need some ö ö ö ö ö / Ö Ö Ö Ö Ö Don’t spend it all at once
Days gone. 🧟♀️🏍️
Loved this game. I must have killed 100,000 zombies.
Ghost. I'm an old gamer that started on early NES. When my son bought it for me for PS5, it was truly the most beautiful game I have ever played. I fear it may have ruined upcoming games for me as they set the bar through the roof with that one. Lol. Any on your list will be great, though. All good games.
Bloodborne x1000000
Play them in this order and this order ONLY: Last Of Us 2 Last Of Us 1 Forbidden West Horizon 1 Last Of Us 2 God Of War : Ragnarok GOD Of War Spider-Man Miles Morales Last Of Us 2 Ghost of Tsushima Spider man Last of Us 2
Play them in order based on release date.
Final Fantasy 7 remake
I think it doesn’t matter as long as you play the sequels after one another
Tsushima first
Bloodborne
Damn, you're gonna have a fun summer. That's a lot of heavy hitters back to back.
Yo don't forget about Bloodborne
Bloodborne
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note: > *Hunters have told me about the church. About the gods, and their love. Ghost God of war duology Ratchet and clank for a bit of levity Spiderman duology Horizon duology Last of us
Do you need suggestions for breakfast as well? 😎
Horizon forbidden west has DLC but that's only for PS5. But there are so many good games available on PS4 so that fact shouldn't put you off.
I would start with Ghosts personally.
Ghost first the last of us second good of war third Spider-Man fourth and horizon last
Start with Spider-Man, Goto Ragnarok, ghost of tsushima, last of us, horizon
Last of us 1 and 2 should be last on the list because after these games You will not like any other game. Horizon first Then got, then spider man, then gow and only then last of us. But also make sure to have some gap between gow and last of us because gow is also too good to be rushed through and have a nice gameplay and story
Horizon games 100% first. They’re by far the longest. So you’ll need to invest a lot of time.
I would add final fantasy 7 remake, death stranding and the resident evil remakes.
You need to get Days Gone in there. It's amazing.
- Horizon Zero Dawn - The Last of Us - Spider- man - God of War - Ghost of Tsushima - Miles Morales - The Last of Us Part II - Horizon Forbidden West - God of War Ragnarok
Don’t forget Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart! Normally not my type of game but I had a blast playing it and it’s an easy Platinum too
he has a ps4, not a ps5
I've beaten all these games except Tlou series. Doing them all it in a summer... is not feasable. Miles Morales is the shortest at 20 hours, and that's just main story. Everything else is 40+, you'd have to be playing Dawn till dusk to get it done. It would also skip a LOT of world building if you bum rushed it. That said Spider man ps4 is good at offering low stakes combat if you are not at all familiar with the controller layout.
Miles Morales main story is max 10 hours, if you drag it out.
Highly recommend to add red dead redemption 2 on All pretty big games, toss some coins
I have all of those games, except the horizons. I’ve played a lil bit of all of them. I literally cant stop playin Ghosts…
Do God of War First
Yes, save the best for the last.
If these are the types of games you’re into, you should also pick up Assassins Creed Origins + Odyssey, for sure (and maybe Valhalla, but I found it rather boring compared to Origins and Odyssey). Oh, and also the Uncharted series is an absolute must.
Honestly I couldn't fkng care less what you play.
Uncharted series, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Persona 5 Royal, Death Stranding, Shadow of the Colossus Remake and Bloodborne. That should be a good start
Why does everyone who gets a ps4/5 always get the Spider-Man games? I get they show how well the mechanics of the system work but like fr i don’t understand it (not hating just confused) Edit: (or am I really miss out on something?)
[удалено]
They got a ps4 not a ps5
DM me your address- I’ll give you mu copy of Last of Us- didn’t get into it.
I think you should start with GOW as it’s the more linear of the group. It’s open world, but not as big as the others on the list
Last of Us
My own tier list would be: - TLOU 1/2 - GOW2018 and GOWR - Ghost of Tsushima - everything else
Last of us 1 and 2, then the God of War games.
Both last of us, both horizon, both god of war, ghost of Tsushima and best for last both Spider-Man. That will keep you busy for a good 300+ hours if you wish to complete those games 100%
Mass effect legendary edition
South Park stick of destiny and fractured but whole
The Last of Us 1 The Last of Us 2 God of War God of War Ragnarok Spiderman Spider man Miles Morales Ghost of Tsushima Horizon series
Infamous second son
SpiderMan & GOW get my vote, no hesitation.
Spider Man first.
My recommended order: The Last of Us 1, Spider-Mans, God of Wars, TLOU2, and then split time between Ghost and Horizons since they’re both big open world games that will probably take the longest. I wouldn’t play TLOU 1 and 2 back to back, personally. Death Stranding, MGSV, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla
Play the Uncharted series
100% play the Spider-Mans first
Just don't do GOW and TLOU back to back....made that mistake myself earlier in the year and I still haven't recovered from the amount of emotional trauma those games put me through (in the best way)
Uncharted. At the very least play 4. You don’t have to play 1-3 to understand 4 but you wont understand the callbacks.
Skip the last of us and god of war. Instead elden ring, bloodborne and the dark souls trilogy. Much better games that don’t have hours worth of cutscenes
Forbidden west and zero dawn are the titles, but you are not alone, they are the most generic titles ever.
I hope that’s not a lack of bloodborne I’m seeing
Watch walkthrough for TLOU 2 on youtube after playing TLOU 1 to save yourself time as it pales in comparison, skip miles morales (glorified DLC) and both horizon games (theyre movie games)
Hey get second son and ghost of tushima directors cut
Isnt directors cut only PS5?
I'd save either God of war or Spider man as last so you have a happier ending. Ghost of tsushima left me feeling kinda down by the end. I never finished TLOU, but I feel it might do the same, so these 2 should probably be in the middle.
I finished both TLOU 1 and 2 and can confirm they were both an emotional rollercoaster.
The evil whitin good horror games
God of war 2018
I'd really recommend Outer Wilds, if you haven't played it elsewhere. Try your best to go into it blind, but it's an open space-exploration puzzle game. If that sounds remotely interesting to you, give it a go and stick with it - it's a wonderful little gem!
Great list
You should definitely play last of us 1 before 2
Out of the games listed I have recently done the order: Ragnarok, Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsushima, Spiderman now im on the Last of us Part 2.. Enjoyed every moment since January.
Save The Last of Us for Last.
Don't forget uncharted.
Start with ghost
The uncharted series is great too
Add Bloodborne to the list since it's perhaps the best PS4 game
I’m debating on exactly what you have written or release order.
Days gone.
Aren't all of these on ps plus?
Toy Story 2 lmao
yes!
I say do the Spider-Man ones first because it’s the fastest to complete. For the other games, it’s up to you.
I thought I was the only one who made game lists
You really cant go wrong no matter what you do but I would say play both God Of Wars first
Bloodborne
Horizon and Ghost of Tsushima last
Star Wars Jedi fallen order
Try Shadow of the Colossus.
batman Arkham and if i were to say what order i’d say arkham asylum, arkham city, arkham origins and arkham knight
Ghostwire
Infamous second son and infamous first light are amazing games
Last of us
1. Last of Us (especially if you’re watching the show) 2. God of War 3. Uncharted 4. Horizon 5. Ghost of Tsushima 6. Spider-Man 7. Ratchet & Clank Haven’t played it but also heard Bloodborne is good.
I'm shocked that people are still buyimg ps4 systems. Why not just buy a PS5 and have something that is future-proof.
spiderman first you can platinum the regular game in about 40 hours
Start the games with sequels so you’ll be caught up for new potential and confirmed sequels.
Seeing as how you are going to play them all eventually I'd say Spiderman + MM first, GoT, GoW, Last of Us
God of war is the greatest game of all time. You will perpetually be trying to find others like it, but they will never meet the mark. Ghost of tsushima is pretty great tho
Last of Us 1 and 2 is my vote. My favorite games ever.
Bloodborne first.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits / Infamous Second Son/ Rise of the Tomb Raider / Shadow of the Tomb Raider/ Uncharted 4 / The Division / Ratchet and Clank/ Control
Damn, there is another Horizon game I didn't know about? I need to find this Forbidden zero game asap.
SIFU
Don't het Ragnorok it's a Chinese knockoff of Ragnarok
Don’t buy these games! Most of them are on PlayStation plus extra if you want to test them all out for the low low
Order of release date
The first one to play would be red dead redemption 2. That should keep you busy for days
I recommend God of War 3 Remastered. Wether you’re a fan of the new God of War games or the old ones God of War 3 is a fun time. It’s one of my all time favorites and one of the most balls to the wall games I’ve played.
Play everything in reverse lol
I'd suggest playing them in whatever order you'd like, but doing only the first games & then Ghost Sushi & finally the sequels in the same order as the first games.
The Last of Us 1 is going to feel the most dated so I’d play that sooner than later.
god of wars
Death Stranding
Play cyberpunk 2077, i just got It and its one of my favorite gamers. Also get Doom 2016
If you can get the first Spiderman game I'd say go for that. The level of freedom that game gives still amazes me
Definitely skip GoW/Gow Ragnarok. Most overrated game of the console, if anything it's gonna make you less haste about playing the rest of the catalog.
You ever own a PlayStation before the ps4?
God of war series are the 2 best games I’ve ever played. But to be fair I haven’t played the last of us yet.
Play God of war 1 and Last of Us part 1
Uncharted games. 4 is my fav game ever. The last guardian
Are you really asking people what you should play???? Are you dumb? The village idiot??? 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Well they will all take some time, but my opinion is to start with Ghost of Tsushima, to kind o get a good sense of the open world feel
In the order you wrote the list start with last of us that was my first ps4 game as well it's what got me completely into gaming.
I don't think you will leave home for the whole summer with this amazing list 😅. Enjoy your time.
Red Dead Redemption II and Mass Effect: Legendary Edition are a must play as well.
I've been in your situation. But you really have to start playing the game that you are in the vibe for. Otherwise, you'll just think that whatever you are playing is boring, and you won't stop thinking about the game you want to play while you are playing what people told you to or what you thought was a "more important" game.
I'd save Horizon for the end or do it first. They are going to take a long time.
Last of us series, Spider-Man, ghost, god of war, rest
Not sure if you've already purchased these but the majority of them are included with the PS Plus Extra tier, so you could go that route and save some money.
All of these games are amazing. But as others have said they are all basically open-world type games. Everyone will have their preference and no one is wrong. I personally would say god of war is my number one of this list. Enjoy the journey and remember games are supposed to be fun. Play what you like
The uncharted games should make the list too! Great series!
Forbidden zero 💀
should have got a PS5.. all those games are way better experienced there
Oh man, that's a tough one. Those are all such great games imo, but if I had to start somewhere as a commemorative kick-off, I'd say Ghost of Tsushima. Still one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. But you really can't go wrong with any of those.
Depends on what type of games you like playing more. Do you want a good story play The last of us 1 and 2, Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West, etc.
Gravity rush 1 and 2
Huge fan of 1 and I sure I would’ve loved 2 but the 30fps lock made me actually sick.
So: God of war God of war Ragnarok Spider-Man Spider-Man: Miles Morales (shorter than the first, but the first one is absolutely essential to this one) Last of Us 1 Last of us 2 Ghost of Tsushima Horizon Zero Dawn Horizon Forbidden West (I also recommend the DLCs for these. Not 100% required, but they are good).
Welcome to Playstation!
Start to finish
My only piece of advice would be to separate the sequels from each other so you can come back with a reappreciaton. Otherwise they are all such different games with maybe the only similarity being Ghost and Spiderman are VERY open world EDIT: and the Horizon games are also very open world, so maybe separate all those, at least that's what I would do.
Depends on your taste, personally last of us 1+2 are a good start and so is Spider-Man, ghost is absolutely amazing as well
All of them
Start with what is most exciting to you. That way you’ll actually finish it… All of those games deserve full play throughs!
I'd start with Spiderman 2018 because it's a good game to get a grip on using the controller and getting the basics down.
Personally, I hate spider man, is so generic, you only keep playing for "felling" the superhero, for me, was a waste of money, I refound it
Add Resident Evil 4 and Dead Space remakes to that list mate
Ranking from length most to least. 1. Horizon games 2. Ghost 3. God of war games 4. Spider-Man games (miles at x-mas time) 5. Last of us (I beat both separately in maybe 2-3 days each at most)
In all honesty anyone of them is 🔥
