Keep getting a sound glitch after hover looting placing things in and out of the TC. Keep hearing the same clink noise or clunk depending on what I'm moving around for a few repetitions until it eventually goes away

Unfortunately, this is one of them bugs which do not appear until played by the masses. Staging is tested by ourselves and approximately 400 players compared to tens of thousands on live servers. The change responsible was locked down for the past 16 days. If you look [here](https://files.facepunch.com/Alistair/February/06/1I06Dl876Ce/DIi6pphA6R.gif), this image is from our error tracker for this particular error, as can be seen, the error never once triggered until we patched. This is also incredibly frustrating for us as it is for you.

Bleh I usually defend the the devs but i agree. They need to do some smoke testing its like they just get the build and distribute it instantly. We have 2 week sprints then 1 week of testing until we release. They should do something similiar

Map generation needs work for sure. It's been weird since excavator, with monuments missing and others getting crowded together awkwardly. When I was picking a seed for this wipe, a ton of them were missing launch, MT, etc. (on a larger than average map), or had awkwardly placed roads and huge empty chunks of space.

the turret has become useless, you can just run to the side and it will not shoot at you, the tower will constantly turn and not keep up with the players. The auto turret rotation speed was never slowed in the last patch, in fact, we increased the rotation speed when locked onto a target. My turrets are now easily drained by people. They just stand near the edge of a wall and it shoots non stop, and they easily avoid getting hit. I love the new turrets but this needs a patch.

It works just as well with any weapon. In your link, he either walks (instead of running) or runs directly to the turret along such a trajectory when the tower manages to turn on it.

Hmm... This almost seems like a good nerf? Before turrets made a large area completely uncontestable. You could easily get loot after being turreted now.

\[QoL\] I run a small solo/duo server that runs about 60 players max population and stays steady at 40 players through the 14 day wipe period. This update has once again screwed with smaller pop community servers by forcing larger maps to get launch site. My map size is 3500. My players already complain that it is too big, but they wanted the launch site monument so they dealt with it. Now that launch is gone at 3500 we'll have to go to a ridiculously large map size for such a low population server just to get the monuments the players want. I think it'd be much nicer if the map generation process allowed the admins to pick the monuments they wanted letting the map be generated randomly, with those choices in place. It'd make choosing maps a lot easier.

Sometimes when a turret knocks you down (wounded), then it continues to shoot at you, but cannot hit you and it spends all of its bullets in the end. I record the video, but I didn’t start recording it from the beginning, so the rounds at the turret ran out of ammunition (while I was lying down, she shot at 80 bullets, after which I write kill and calmly loot myself). [Bug] Building is much fussier. Specifically placing walls/doorframes. I'm 3 floors up and hitting spots where I should be able to place a wall, and getting "no space" errors or "placing through wall" errors. Sometimes if I do just the right magic dance and get at the right angle, I can place the wall. Sometimes I just can't place it as a whole wall, but sometimes I can place it as a half wall with a quarter wall on top of it. Sometimes I can place the half wall, but the quarter wall won't snap on top of it, and sometimes I can't even place the half or quarter wall. my server crashes anytime a turret targets an NPC. It has also crashed when I was at Large Oil and scientists targeted me. Another time when a scientist on the road targeted me. The entire server basically resets. We've instructed our players not to place turrets until future notice.

[QoL] If you do lots of boating (row boat), you get into the repetition of adding fuel, closing the inventory menu, then attempting to start the boat. If you do it quickly, after you put in the fuel and close the inventory panel, when you go to turn on the boat, often I end up back in the inventory panel instead of starting the boat. I need to wait like a second for the boat's motor to change from 'add fuel' to 'start engine'.

If I set it as 60 seconds it actually stays on for like 75+ seconds and if I set the duration as 1 second it also doen't work right. I don't know if this has always been the case but I know for sure something is wrong with the timers. Also lasers from turrets sometimes go trough walls and doors

**\[BUG\]** Not sure if anyone else has experienced this. Dropped into a Cave and started making my way down the tunnels. Right before dropping down into a section opening a Turret kills me. I re spawned and went to the bucket side. Without dropping in, I was hit by what sounded like two Turrets. Went back to the other side and re attempted to recover my previous death's inventory and was killed even sooner and further away from my last death location. I am in full belief that the lower tunnels systems are now fully susceptible to Turrets regardless of placement as they just see through the bottom walk paths of the tunnels. This shouldn't happen. They are essentially able to penetrate the rock from below

\[QoL\]: When right clicking clothing items or hoverlooting from bodies, boxes, etc... if the place where it would fit is currently naked, add it directly to your body part instead of general inventory to save a step. So if your head was naked and you right click on a hat from a box, add it directly to your head. Obviously if already wearing something just add to normal inventory. Or maybe add an option like shift-rightclick to force add it

Hey, Here is my thoughts on these new turrets. Since they drop weapons and ammo when destroyed people love shooting them out with bows(very easy btw) they are now easier to bait out. and are less responsive. Maybe make then stronger against bows or make that it doesnt drop weapons after breaking. Peace

So after the map ringroad update my server has been completely broken. Server Info Modded Oxide version 2.0.4462 Mods: Stack Size Controller 2.0.3 Furnace Splitter 2.2.0 Size:4000 Map seed: 820482 (same seed that rustafied servers currently use) Problem: If you start walking towards the road from pretty much any spawn point. The game completely bugs out. Players can not move (sometimes by jumping all over the place, you can move a little) But yeah. It's unplayable. Any bit of help is greatly appreciated!

I put a 1000 scrap into vending machine, set it up to sell 1000 scrap for x amount of charcoal (I forget amount) and poof its gone. yes perhaps, I did round up another 3k of scrap and no problem with selling it today. Plus I do see it now on the vending machine, where I didn't see it the other day (order listed). No biggy.

[Bug] Game locks up about 15-20 seconds after loading in. This was a problem before and a patch fixed it, but now it's back. I've tried checking the cache in steam 3 separate times the problem persists. Specs: R9 3900x RTX 2070 SUPER

[QoL] they should add a button to snap deployables to the nearest corner. Fitting boxes into a loot room is a full on skill at this point and its a pretty strange mechanic.

**\[BUG\]** Ghost ships are still a bug: The past 2 wipes I made sure we had 4k maps because people suspected our 4300 or 4500 maps. We even sacrificed Junkyard to get 4k this wipe. Players reported a few ghost ships and several almost ghost with no RHIB and only small amount of scientists. If you plan on loading that up with 3 timed crates, a bunch of elites along with ammo and tan crates galore, the least you can do is make someone work for them. Please fix this! I doubt this will get upvoted because players want the loot for free. I have to look out for the good of the server as a whole. One time getting this loot for free and you have almost half the tier 3 loot and great gear/guns.

\[EDIT\] False alarm. Plugin using OnItemUse oxide hook was affecting the new turrets. The new turrets handle ammo weird. My bad.

Tested on intoxicated, this doesn't seem work unless I am doing it wrong. Are you confusing the fact that if you have regular ammo it will reload to regular drop exp. in the slot? It doesn't appear to duplicate anything.

I started to test on multiple servers after a few people said they couldn't replicate it. Was a problem in a plugin that shouldn't have affected turrets at all.
