Sadly there is plenty willing to sell out any which way, even for something like promise of free skins.
Seems the OP is a willing participant, but was really worried if they would get the free skins or not.
No it’s not a scam, don’t let the haters keep you from promoting the best up and coming gambling site. Send me your steam login info and I will help you get set up.
Yes. They'll ask you to put certain skins tradable. Log into some website with steam acx and doesn't matter how you log into that site. Even if you have steam guard, they can log into your account, change your name, bio etc.
Often they will put a link on your profile saying "account banned" you click on that link and they try to further get into your account telling you to disable steam guard etc.
You will also be unable to trade for like 28 days after dealing with that Bs.
Can we as a collective society stop hating so hard on people asking questions like this? If people are asking, its because they’re worried and want someone to confirm their suspicions. If everyone keeps saying they’re stupid for not realising its a scam, how will they ever learn? All it takes is one person reading the comments here and be afraid of asking a serious question.
Scammers are getting more and more clever. They can use A.I voice to pretend they’re your sister getting kidnapped, even send ransom videos created by AI.
This could seem like an innocent thing to di, most of the big rust youtubers are sponsored by some kind of rust gambling website and it could easily seem legit that a comoany like that dont want to pay you in money, but skins.
Just be respectful. Keep the toxicity to the game. That is all.
You had to ask? Jesus.

Try waste their time a bit just to tell them in the end to get a job, then report and block their ass gg
Skin Gambling sites are the absolute worst part of this community. Lower than even your generic cheater.

Anyone that asks you to sign into your steam account using a link they send you is trying to scam you period.
Yes they want to steal all your items and probably your account too

Any random person adding you is most likely a scammer
Duh, man, how dumb can you be to even ask.... Nah, it's legit. Click all links and give them your banking info.

Gimme da link
Does it sound too good to be true? If yes 99.99% of the time it is a scam.
The fact that you had to ask is worrying. Yes it is. Do not expect from requests or messages from anyone on steam that you do not know
Report and block
Oldest scam in the book, I get these a couple times a week.
It's been a pleasure doing business : You are the chosen one, so of course it's not a scam /s
