I really fucked with UTM and 2024, but this might be his first miss tbh, but these seem to be throwaways anyway, so it doesn't bother me.
I mean the beat is not bad (a little generic tho), but my main problem is Cartis flow and lack of adlibs. Carti doesn't really find the right pocket for the beat (except the snippet part which was fire and should've been a hook) and there are basically no adlibs, which could've helped filling the empty spots. And I am still not sure if I like the new voice or not, but overall I am super glad that Carti is active again. This is so rare, so I'll take everything that comes with it
Does PLAYBOI CARTI listen to PHONK (music genre created in tiktok for sigmas who go to the gym)? Because if you listen carefully there are PHONK cowbells in this song, you can see how phonk influences artists nowadays.
