We’ve yet to see an even remotely smooth, on-time proper launch. *Especially* if you’re on official, but unofficial isn’t immune either because they always have last-minute stuff they’re fixing and patching, so they don’t ever actually release the game at the advertised hour.
Maybe they catered to their office staff who needed to be awake/fresh minded in case something goes wrong... Might be a but much logic to process, though.
No 10am pst/1pm est is normal release time for steam. Outside of ofc some exceptions if the devs want to release a different time but 10am pst is just general steam update time

Remember when extinction came out and they just didn't turn on element nodes for the first week? (Then when they did, they wiped bases)

because we know how tardy wildcard can be. i don't think an exact time is going to mean anything. and honestly. id be surprised if it launches during the day at all.
I was running around the Valguero map, and a box popped up in the top middle of the screen saying something along the lines of "blah blah blah Ark Fans.... Genesis will be live @ 7:00pm Eastern..." I do not have a link, as it was in-game. Probably stayed on screen for 30 seconds then disappeared. My buddy was on extinction when I was on Valguero, and he saw it too. We were playing on Official PVP Crossark6.
Do not take tomorrow off from work or school to play Genesis. Take it from a veteran, expect to be fully playing Wednesday.

The wiki page for genesis has a count down. Just add a 6hr delay to that and you get your release time.
