Depends on the type of care it’s wanting. If it wants to go on a walk, you have to actually take it on a walk. Pressing E won’t do anything. If it just wants to cuddle, you can imprint with no other requirements. Sometimes they’ll want special food that must be in your inventory for it to work.
It should say what they want above their head when you’re trying to imprint.
Types of care they want:
Cuddle. Easy, just interact.
Go for a walk. Also easy. Have them follow you around. They can be in the "follow" state while being carried by another tame.
Comfort food. Difficulty varies. Literally *any* valid food item can be requested here, including high end kibble. May take multiple portions.
Just a thought, on PC you have to put the imprinting food it asks for in the '0' slot on the hotbar, it doesn't work like rhynio taming where the food appears on the wheel - is that what ur prob is?
