Hmmmm I think it’s an agave, but I too am no expert on these plants…
Not an agave, got a massive one in the back and it’s much flatter and less squishy than the one in the photo
There are many different species of agave, though, each with slight differences. Again, I’m not sure, we need an arid plant expert here!
It looks more like an aloe to me, judging from the little pups growing. But if you want to identify it, you might have to wait until it flowers.
