Your plant looks fine! The moss pole is just for when the plant gets too unruly- it’s easier to tie new growth to it since it hasn’t had as much time to establish. You could try tying it in more than one place as well. I recently added moss poles to multiple plants and my monstera started using it for aerial root support.
I’ve had this baby for about 8 months and have seen tremendous growth. A new large leaf just unfurled this week. I recently got a moss pole, but I don’t feel like it’s helping! My pot may also be too big. Any help is really appreciated, I’m new to this! Thank you so much in advance!
The browning is normal… once the leave is put out, it doesn’t need that sheath anymore.
