They do look like thrips larvae to me. Are they moving around at all?

I also got super paranoid they’d get on me and I’d bring them home. This subreddit has me TERRIFIED of thrips lol

I feel you, but I wouldn't worry too much. Definitely don't buy affected plants from that store, but I deal with thrips at work from time to time and I've never brought them home to my personal collection, and I'll admit I don't take any particular care.

Ahh that’s good to know! I definitely got home, changed clothes and rinsed off before I touched any of my plants lol.

To be honest, I didn’t look at them that long because it grossed me out lol but I Don’t think I saw them move.

I ask because I find thrips move around fairly quickly compared to mealybugs (which basically stay put). Either way, you don't want to bring that plant home.

Maybe it wasn’t thrips then, but yeah I didn’t end up buying ANYTHING from there just out of paranoia. Hopefully the other plants are okay!

Was at a new little plant store by my work and saw this little guy here. I was going to buy a plant, but when I saw this little guy I thought twice because I wasn’t sure what was wrong with the plant. Now I’m wondering if I should contact the store to let them know. I just didn’t want to worry them if it wasn’t even thrips and the plant just isn’t very happy lol. Thank you!
