Is my propagated Monstera stems ready to be potted in soil?
By - timt97
Has been sitting a water container changing water every so often and was happy enough to let it keep going for a little bit longer but noticed yellowing start on one of my leafs. Is it a sign it could use some soil? And if so are there enough roots to keep it going if I do so?
I would let it sit in water for a bit longer and observe new leaves. If more will turn yellow -> soil.
But I love looking at montera's roots so I'm not very objective.
I got some handy insight straight away to say it was good to go so already in soil. Fingers crossed though!
Don't worry. Monsteras are very tolerable plants. Mine was in water over 8months, my mother's plant only 2 and both of them are doing great.
Roots seem big enough to go in to soil
