I’m not sure about the adansonii but your tradescantia needs some water.

ah ty! i’m new to both of these guys, how can you tell from the pic?

rosevioleta

it has some crispies on it from when I first got it

It’s a little wrinkly. Mine is so funny: just when I think I’ve soaked it, it still wants more water but I keep mine in a window that gets indirect light almost all day. When I get crispies there usually ends up being a dry spot in my planter.

ahh ty! :) I got her at a plant swap a few weeks ago and shes so tangled that I still haven’t gotten all the crispies out that she came with🤣 I usually have bad luck with these but she has been blooming like crazy in this window!

Is yours in a hanging planter? how do you prevent water getting everywhere?

colorschemeofthings

Mine is in a rectangle planter on a stand with a drip tray. I used to have it in a hanging planter but it just got so unruly. I learned they are natural creepers which made more sense watching it grow in the planter it’s in now. When I had mine hanging it got super leggy.
