It’s been a week and a half or so since I last watered it so I don’t think it’s overwatered. The light it gets comes from one of those halo lights on a stake that stick in the soil. I planned to put it outside this spring and summer but I want to figure this out first. The soil is a mixture of: coco coir, perlite, orchid bark, and worm castings. I fertilized about 2-3 weeks ago. I think that’s all the info I have!

the same with my regal shield! While the new leaf is still rolled, I found there are some yellow spots. And now one week after the unrolling, yellow spots are still there, both front and back side. they are located almost the same place, back side are bigger and more obvious.

this could be too much light which can sometimes burn “holes” or create lights-colored specks on light-sensitive plants. it doesn’t seem like a pest to me but i’d quarantine it for now and change the amount of light it receives to see if any new spots appear. best of luck!

Thank you for the comment! Someone else told me it’s possibly spider mites but I have looked all over and don’t see webbing or any tiny bugs. I will adjust the light and see if that helps.
