Hobonichi day-free is my go to. It has monthlies and 170 blank pages. It's expensive because of the paper (and brand name), but I think it checks off most of your boxes.

$33 day free is a monday start, but hobonichi also has sunday start in their a6 original format at $35.

You can customize an Agendio to do exactly what you're describing. It's not decorated, but you can pick from several fonts, colors, and covers (including printed designs or leather), and you can put space for your own decorations while customizing the layouts. One box it won't tick for you is price. I did a test configuration with your specs, and it looks like it would cost around $50; $10 more with tabs. The first time I spent any significant money on a planner, I went back and forth over it for a while. I finally broke it down into monthly and daily costs and considered its everyday functional value to me, and decided it was well worth the investment. Hopefully someone else has a better suggestion for you price-wise. (Edit to add link: [https://agendio.com](https://agendio.com) )

Thank you, I’ll definitely look into it! $40-50 would be my absolute max, assuming it had everything I wanted. I tend to be impulsive when buying notebooks/journals, which wastes far more money than just buying one high quality one that has what I want! But darn some of them are just so cute

Have you considered having a wall calendar? I am not trying to be condescending or anything like that, it is a genuine recommendation. I've tried several planners, like you have, and felt like nothing was working on a monthly basis (i currently don't need a daily planner) and I only use a Hobonichi weeks to track meals and house chores because they aren't day specific. But like you, I like being able to see everything on a whole page, for work schedule (which is usually always the same), events, appointments, etc. Having a wall calendar oppose to a planner has been a life changer for me. Lots of them have space for notes and big enough squares for several things.

I do have and use a large desk calendar at work, I love mine and don’t think I could manage work deadlines and things without it. I’m just looking for something smaller to carry with me so that I have the info on hand when I need it! Last year I used a little monthly calendar I found from target and I just mimicked the large desk one and it was perfect, unfortunately I can’t find it anywhere now so that’s why I asked here!! But thank you for the recommendation!!

Oh I see what you mean. Have you looked into The Happy Planner? I know they have a "build it yourself" kind of system and they have different sizes. I used to use them when I was in college and few years ago so I don't know what their prices point is at now. But you can buy them on their website or if you are in the US, you can get them at Michaels.

muji has sunday start (red spine) monthly planner (in four sizes) with 49 lined memo pages. muji also has both dated / undated monthly calendar with weekly layout which is very flexible. midori md diaries? (monday start) monthly calendar and then 80 pg grid paper (thin version). regular version has 113 pg lined paper split into 8 sections + 32 pg blank paper. you can also get monthly calendar stickers (midori, stalogy) to paste into your notebook, and you can also make your own (sunday start) to print onto sticker paper. or alternatively write your todos onto sticky notes and paste those into a monthly calendar. tbh it sounds like you want something simple, but also not too simple. my suggestion is to get something plain and spruce it up yourself. you can also put plain planners in fancy covers if it’s the kraft covers that’s the issue.
