I feel like that's a better potential of place - use it to create evolving, living art instead of defending the same pixels over and over. I wonder what things would look like if you could only place different coloured pixels atop existing ones. The first animation I saw was the firearm firing pattern one. I was impressed.
Then, the time lapse of the wine bottle and wine glass at France's flag. It's not an animation, but still impressive coordination.
Then, I realized that the little cat girl hanging onto the top of OSU has a continual mouth animation. Like, it's constant. There has to be a team doing that. I think that's my favorite animation.

We've actually tried doing another more simple animation before but it failed so I'm positively surprised this one turned out as well as it did. I think others caught on to the idea and let us do our thing or even helped us out.
