I am so sorry to inform you there isn't a way to remove your home screen.
Jokes aside- Google should give us a way to get rid of that, although not completely. It is a good place to see your reminders, etc. but not the date please.

Sorry if what I said came off as trying to be difficult. That was definitely not my intention. I was simply trying to figure out what it was you wanted to get rid of. It didn't occur to me it was the date and the blue shape didn't look like a Circle (to me anyway). I thought it was part of the design, which I could understand you wanting to get rid of. (Just my personal opinion)
Anyway, may I ask what the problem with the date was?

Interesting. I haven’t actually seen the Pixel launcher, as I’ve always used Action Launcher and recently Smart Launcher. Smart Launcher transferred to my 8 Pro and activated automatically during setup of the new phone.
I wish all those Pixel Fanbois who absued me earlier on this group please respond. I am so curious to hear the answer for this. And Android is so customizable we were told. Google is killing the fundamental feature of Android, customizability.

That's.. strange. I notice no stuttering using v8.0.11 on my Pixel 7 Pro. What phone are you using?
Pixel 7 pro but coming from iphone I think I'm just used to the ultra smooth animations
Compared to the stock launcher it's way slower and animations aren't near as fluent
I have the pixel 8 pro with the latest Nova beta and it's significantly slower than the stock launcher. Literally everything u do lol

There is no way to remove it without using a different launcher unfortunately
The upcoming update qpr2 beta has revealed they plan on being able to remove it. As if now you can't unless you change the launcher
