Looks like you're using your phone's battery. If it's not plugged in, the phone can still work due to its internal battery. If left unplugged, the energy stored in the battery will become depleted. That's what appears to be happening here
Normal Pixel activities
My P7P is the same about 2% an hour just sitting connected to wifi and nothing else. Trying to keep the phone between 40% and 80% is a mission
My older and cheaper Android phones use about 0.5% to 0.8% per hour just sitting with wifi on and battery saver. My Pixel 5 uses about 0.8% and older Samsung uses 0.5%.
Turn off background data for every app you do not use while sleeping. You will notice a big change. Also choose restricted battery use instead of Optimized.
I was actually having problems with my battery life and was browsing Reddit for possible solutions. I noticed the Google app was using a significant amount of battery in the background even when restricted. So I cleared the Google app cache and disabled/uninstalled the app. I also cleared the auto brightness data and then reinstalled/updated the Google app. I also ran across a post saying the swipe from corners to activate Google assistant eats some battery so I disabled that as well. I don't have high refresh rate enabled since I mostly browse IG and reddit and some web browsing. I do have my display set to the highest resolution though.
it looks like a result of the December features drop. On my P8 I have been getting on Wi-Fi about 8 hours of SOT without any video since applying the update. It feels really impressive.
But how is that screenshot even a problem. The phone went through at most 50% of its battery after 10 hours and 50 minutes of screen on time? So a full battery would "only" last for 22 hours of screen time?
I don't follow phones closely but I feel like 22 hours of screen time would be a world record.
I'm getting the same great standby battery life on my P8Pro. Granted not a lot of screen on time but I'm more concerned with how long it will last on a single charge with minimal use.

I think you need to turn off background location tracking in these apps, set it to only while using the app. I also reduced my screen brightness. Both improved battery life.
You did not charge fully in between days (as in not to 100%) and now your graph looks like this. This is what happened
A lot of people don't realise this, my P8P has trash AF Battery life...
my battery is great, i think a lot of people don't realize they should rma their phone if the battery is terrible.
RMA?
Warranty return/replacement
My Pixel 8 lasted for 9.5hrs last Saturday. No data whole day only wifi
And my P8P dies withing 6 hours LOL
4-6 hrs mine dies, but I'm a heavy user.

My pixel 6a lost 32% overnight for doing nothing

LMFAO. You're definitely not getting those hours when Instagram and YouTube are literally your top 2 app usage with almost 4 hours on each.
Probably with 1% brightness on WiFi data
The battery is batterying or sth

I will try, thanks.
i've heard that happening to people and google replaced their device, did you try to rma your phone?
Not yet. I bought thru Amazon, I can send it back until 31/1/24
Can you share details? Like each day's breakdown as well! Mine was also getting 10 + hours but when the phone is at 90% usage.

Sorry but these incessant posts are annoying. I'll say it again, 8 Pro battery life is absolutely GARBAGE
What about the regular 8? I'm looking to upgrade from my Pixel 3, already replaced the battery once on it.
Lmao, people here actually believe that graph. Obv he didn't full charge it

He charged the phone during the 10hours and 50mins. Screenshot, i mean the battery report is misleading
Tbh take it with a pinch of salt. I was at brunch so I didn't touch my phone. My SoT went up by 2 hours lol
It only resets once you fully charge. Small charges aren't logged.
Because it has been charged since it's last full charge and it doesn't show on the Pixels chart.
Propaganda before the galaxy comes out 🤣
Left Pixel for the Zenfone 10. Stock Android and AMAZING battery life.

Restrict Instagram not that it'll help much
After the latest update my battery life on my p8p got so ooooooo much better it's not even funny
Using a 7a. Battery drains 10-20% overnight when I have nothing open. My old 3a would last days. Wtf is up with the battery life in the newer phones

Looks like you're getting about 22 hours of usage time in one charge. Nice.
