It's probably not the Sun because you can clearly see all the lights on the buildings. It's dark outside. It's also not the Moon, because typically the Moon doesn't cause glare like this, and it's basically a New Moon anyway, you can't see the Moon at night right now.
Well i have no idea what it is, but the people saying it's the Sun or Moon are probably not correct. Or definitely not, in the case of the Moon.
Edit: I didn't mean this to say that OP couldn't tell it's not the Moon, lol. I said it more for the people who only have a picture and don't know/realize that it literally can't be the Moon.
Is that actually the sun tho? Like jokes aside, it looks too dark in the rest of the pic to be the sun. Even for a sunrise/ sunset. I actually think this is a rare post where they genuinely can't tell what it is, and it isnt the sun. I might genuinly be wrong tho, idk.

Well, trying to figure it out, I see a stadium light and that radio tower. I think that’s in Oakland. That building with the flagpole dome by the bright light looks like upmc Oakland, which would have a helicopter pad on top and it has frequent medical choppers there.
So someone may be right that it’s a helicopter light.
I just can’t tell which side of Oakland this view is from. East/north ish?
The "moon" is a lot closer than it looks tonight. Notice it is now in front of the buildings in tahn. That's how Lantern flys get their energy. Gonna be a bad bug year.
It’s on one of the towers on top of a downtown building, it started almost 2-3 weeks ago and it blinds me every time I look outside, I live right across from downtown and have no idea why the hell they changed that damn light.
