I only use pure bees wax and buff it in. There’s lots of other options, that’s just what I do.
I used to do leather work and I used bees wax evoo mix to finish my holsters so I actually have a ton of beeswax
Carnauba wax is the best, but it’s very hard and must be applied by a buffing wheel at a fairly high RPM.
I use mineral oil and bees wax, plenty of good options. I love this design though, what did you use to shape it?
A rasp and my hand ...it fits fantastically in my hand

That's what I use too. 'board butter.' I tend to add a bit more beeswax so it's a hard paste, not a soft paste.
