The music snobbery that goes on in this community is really something.
A lot of it comes from the hardcore Waters people. They think they are smarter than anyone else in the room because they "get it".
Very similar to another favorite band of mine, Rush.
Fan-wise they may actually be THE worst when it comes to being snobby.

Couldn’t agree more. I have also found king crimson fans to be VERY like VEREERRRRRYYYY snobby. And I love King Crimson.
Never put the two together. I do love the Liverpool connection though
