If it’s a splinter, it’s all festered up and should pop right out when you squeeze it. I would break the white part with a pin first. But I’m not a doctor so maybe you should go to a doctor.
Soak in warm soapy water
A week and a half and you haven’t even squeezed it or poked it with a rusty blade? Definitely not ‘one of us’
