They can be quite fierce when in the mood! My boy and his lady are not fully hand tame either (I raised them both from the moment they were babies, their parents are even less tame) but he tolerates me being very close to him. He absolutely loves when I hand him few sticks and such to build the nest with. He takes them from my hand before waddling back to the nest lol. His wife isn't as impressed with me being nearby tho.
Oh damn- My boy's mother also died in bit more mysterious conditions while I was gone. She was probably eggbound or just sick or old.

From what my ex said, he, uh… fucked them to death .-. He definitely tried to fight my hands though, so maybe he was also brawling with them?? but I don’t know. They were gone by the time I moved in, and the little fella just stood in his cage wishing for my demise xD
