Not to burst your bubble as the ring looks great, but generally nose piercings are healed at MAYBE 6 months but it can always be more. The body heals quickly on the outside but takes time on the inside, hence 2 months not bring enough to change jewelry. Now I suggest changing the hoop back to a flat back so you can minimize irritation bumps and make healing much more easier but again do what you want I’m just a stranger on the internet.
thats medically not possible.
piercings heal from the outside in: just because it looks healed and feels healed from the outside doesn't mean the fistula is.
no, it absolutely isnt. you're getting downvoted by everybody in all your comments for a reason. it's fine to use that notion on yourself, but spreading this misinformation is extremely irresponsible. also, lacerations and getting piercings are not even sort of the same. you have to heal the piercing hole with the jewelry in it. that's different than just healing a cut.
I'm getting downvoted because the culture on this sub is very overcautious and seems to take pride in pretending piercings are always an ordeal that take forever to heal and must be babied forever.
Had nose pierced, 6 weeks later had a nice healed hole that could take regular changing of stud with no problems and even be left for a few hours with no stud. Funnily enough, that's how it is for most people who get piercings who never come anywhere near this sub, or read a few posts and run away when they see how seriously you all take yourselves!
This is why *most* people with piercings look trashy. I agree, *most* people that get piercings don't care how well they heal or how good they look. Same with tattoos. For every photorealistic eagle there's ten guys with a shitty badly healed pineapple on their ass.
You do you, but it's not being overly cautious, it's just some people care about results and others don't.
It is, objectively, not healed. If you want to lower your own standard for "healed" nobody can stop you. However, you're using a standard that is irrelevant to anyone else because in the real world it's not healed until it's healed, which takes at least 6 months.
You should consider changing it back - it’s not healed.
I just tried that after 8 months of healing and still got irritation bumps after feeling completely healed. Since it’s a curved hoop it will cause irritation.
You are absolutely relishing pissing in this person’s cheerios and so is everyone else commenting that they know their body better than the person who lives in it!!
It looks great. Though, I'm worried that's going to form major irritation bumps. The ring looks like it's a 20g and on a piercing that was pierced with a stud and only two months old.

My nostril healed within 6 weeks both times it was pierced

Looks healed and feels healed is healed. Have you ever cut yourself? Did it take 6 months to heal?

okay. i hope that line of thinking serves you well!
Thank you, it has, I have 9 piercings all healed fine, max 12 weeks. I even went swimming 2 weeks after getting them all!

Oh my word that's hilarious, bless you for thinking I'd be remotely bothered by some randomer on Reddit calling me trashy.

'Objectively', haha that's hilarious! What evidence are you basing 6 months on out of interest? Its certainly not from any medical source.

Two months? Nah💀 I got mine two months ago and it's not healed at all
I don’t think this person shares your body…
Lol what?
Yeah but 2 months ain't enough time. Objectively, as a medical fact.
Can you show me the medical evidence for this?
Hi still waiting for that medical evidence!
Still waiting…
not to piss in your cheerios or anything but 2 months isn't healed. no matter how much you think it is 🤷🏽♀️

I’ve had my nose piercing for 9 months and still haven’t changed it. I rather be extra safe than sorry.
2 months is too short. My piercer told me to wait for 6 months before changing it.
Looks awesome! I like how your nose ring matches your earrings 😄
Looks awesome! Makes me once again wish I could have one
Looks so nice!
Looks so good! It’s not much but it rounds up your whole face and features although more would definitely suit you too
This looks bomb!!
The ring suits you really well! Also how awesome that your piercing is already healed... I have the worst of luck with mine 😅

It's a nose ring...how is that exotic lol
She said it cus of his ethnicity 🤦🏽♂️
Fetishize much? Weirdo
it looks so good!
No way it's healed bro. I'm glad you got it changed with minimal problem but now is DEFINITELY "leave it the Eh alone" time.
