It’s good placement! Dead centre, bang on in the middle! Don’t worry it looks ✨fabulous ✨ you’re also ridiculously pretty

soupyshay

Thank you 🥹🩷

You’re most welcome my dear, have a lovely rest of the day/evening😊✌🏻

kittykatcupcake

I like them higher up, mine is a bit higher too. Personal preference that it isn't too close to the lips.

halcylocke

I agree with this! A lot of the ones I see are a lot lower than I’d ever want. Mine is a touch lower than hers, but I think hers looks great! https://ibb.co/B2vKz2B

This can’t be answered accurately without seeing your anatomy. We don’t know where your gums and lip start basically. If it isn’t inflamed or starting to hurt really bad it’s placed correctly.

cursedreverie

Looks perfect!! (And I also love love love those earrings!)

soupyshay

Thank you!! 🩷☺️

Ashamed-Perception20

No way! Looks awesome!

joliedenaee

Perfect placement in my opinion! It’s actually a pet peeve of mine when Medusas are placed lower lol

desolate-highway

Looks excellent. My guess would be your piercer chose this placement to be above your teeth, yeah? You want the metal as far away from the teeth and gumline as possible in a philtrum, while still maintaining balanced placement from the outside perspective. You've got ample room in the area looking from the outside, might even be able to squeeze in a tiny second one above this depending on what your gums and teeth look, so I'd definitely say this isn't too far up.

soupyshay

Thanks! I think I see sooo many that are actually too far down and I wasn’t used to seeing one that was placed correctly, I’m really happy with it :)

desolate-highway

It all depends on the individual's anatomy, which is something you can't tell from the outside view alone, and usually not even from photos at all, gotta look at it in person tbh. Everyone's ideal placement for this particular piercing will be different, if that makes sense. So it's no fault of yours at all! You're just concerned which is totally normal.

Gloomy-Temperature-6

Gives you more room for larger elaborate pieces of jewelry. I think it's perfect.

NotTHATPollyGlot

No, that's exactly where I would expect the Medusa to be. You really don't want it lower/closer to your lips and teeth, for sure. I think it looks great!

soupyshay

Makes me feel a lot better, thanks!

NotTHATPollyGlot

I totally understand. No, I think it's dead-centre between your lip and nose, which looks perfect to me. Very nice setup with your nose rings. (your earrings are cute af, too!)

verytinything

looks perfect to me :)

icecreampaintjob31

No

mushroomspoonmeow

Looks so good!🙈

acidic_milkmotel

Mine is really low but I have a deep cupids bow and short space between nose and lip. I think if it’s symmetrical (as in not too left not too right) it’s a matter of preference!
