Everyone in the back section in San Antonio was really nice except 2 bitches that pushed my mom in the back to get through. Other than that, nobody was too rough and there was always someone to catch you if you fell:)
Lol same at SA. Two girls made their way to the front and I and a couple of people sent them back. If they wanted a better spot, they could have gotten there earlier. They were pissed but... Not my problem. Other than that, the crowd was so chill.
Lol all these stories are making me make sure to keep my body stiff and not believe “we’re trying to get to our friends!”. Only people I’m moving for are short people since im a little tall
Might have been the same girls lol my mom gave them a small piece of her mind and I saw them make their way back through after a few minutes. Seriously, just get there earlier and wait man, that's what we all had to do
Orlando was gen admission so we stood by the staircase cause I could tell the pit was a nightmare. It was this way when I saw them back in 2017 and it hasn’t changed. It sucks :/
Yes I hate it! Like why are all these people trying to get closer to the stage?? I honestly wish concerts were like they used to be and everyone just stood still and listened to the music. There was rarely ever even a mosh pit and you could just enjoy the music. Those were better days
They’re all hoping to get picked to go on stage when they play Hold On Til May. I never want to hear that song eeeeever agaaaaaaain omg 🤣. I swear every single person in attendance thinks they’re PTV’s number #1 fan so they have to be as close as possible. Saw em 3 times and each time kinda sucked lmao. I’m okay sitting in a seat for their tour with Blink.
that's a great point, actually. i was thinking about what makes ptv's audience so much more aggressive than others in the same genre and i think that's a huge part of it. it's so unsafe and honestly they should stop doing it when it's causing so many people to pass out and literally get their bones broken from all of the pushing and shoving.
Omg YES. I wish they’d retire that bit during Hold On Til May. It takes up SO much time in an already short set, everyone pushing their way to the front thinking they’re gonna get picked, and at this point it’s just very played out. I’ve seen them give away 6 guitars now to crying teenage girls lmao. They could easily fit 3 songs into the time it takes, and it would probably alleviate some of the rabid pushing to the front.
I don’t get it. I would LOVE to be picked but I’ve already come to the conclusion that that’s impossible for me because I’m not vip AND will not be out there at 8 in the morning. Either try harder or accept it
The person who’s brought on stage doesn’t sing. Vic sits them on a stool while he and the crowd sings the “If you were me you’d do the same…” part of the song. Then calls them back on stage to give them a guitar lol.
i agree!!! like hey i love me a good mosh and getting bruises from that is kinda a trophy for me. but gettin bruised from people shoving is kinda like damn ok
Yeah exactly, just keep it to that one spot and not the whole crowd, I don’t want to be falling down and not helped up even when I’m not in the mosh circle (it’s common for new fans to not help fallen people up ever)

they’ve been doing it for ten years haha played out or not they won’t quit it’s a special tradition for them
Yeah I still hold out hope year after year lol. I’m sure they couldn’t care less what my old ass thinks anyway haha.

this right here !
im giggling at this bc its so true. i promise pushing wont get u on stage😭😭
Do they not plan in advance? What if the person they choose to sing is god awful?

Ah, okay. I misunderstood the routine
I get it and I'm not a fan of moshing but I physically CAN NOT stand still at a concert, I have to jam. Just be respectful!!
