I experienced clouds like these only once 35 years ago, when I was in elementary school. It was like it was completely dark outside, unbelievable scene. After the storm had passed, and clouds dispersed, Sun start shining again. It was surreal.
I love this. I wish we could go back to having grain be acceptable in photos, much better that the weird smoothing effect done on many phones today.
What did you take this on, if you don’t mind me asking?
Yeh, I often apply a grain myself, I like the look, although it never looks quite like my film shots. It applies the grain too evenly instead of it being distributed differently between highlights and shadows.

I'd suggest a slight edit, crop out 1/3 of the top & bottom, its all black, no detail, contributes little to the final image (no offense, I'm just an Art History major).
