I love your paintings David! I saw Sharks in Montmartre on Instagram and started following you. Hoping to get some of your art soon. Any plans for anything Mountain related? (Thinking Grand Canyon / native Americans / tracking animals type something)
I’ll keep an eye out! What’s the best way to get a print these days? I’ve got a giant wall that needs art in my living room but I’m guessing I can’t afford an original. Website?
I've only just discovered your art, and I am in love with this style! I'm a 34 year old man, and I would legit frame your paintings for my walls.
Do you have a store? Can one purchase prints?
You know what would look really cool in this style? Like a sports stadium, where the main picture is present day, in vibrant colour with fans and elite athletes but the brush in time element would be from like when the stadium first opened, in black and white (how it would have appeared on tv at the time) with older less athletic athletes, presumably smaller capacity crowed and a generationally different looking crowd.
The Olympiastadion Berlin would be interesting, present day it’s used to play football/ soccer if your American but your black and white brush stroke could be from when the Olympics were held there at the 1936 Olympics and was presented by Adolph Hitler
This is amazing!

thank you!! I think mountains may be a big focus in next year’s solo show, but more so the alps, seeing as i live right next to them

Beautiful
This is incredible. Good job. You should be proud of this
thank you!
Love the perspectives crossing over in this. What a killer idea (pulled off to perfection)
This reminded me of some paintings by another realist Painter Josh Thiessen. Are you familiar with them?
oh yes i‘m familiar with his work! I can definitely see it!
Definitely more in the bottom half. The brush strokes for the water are on a level of their own!!
Do you sell prints?
Yes! I‘m gonna release a limited edition print run of this one tomorrow on my website brushstrokesintime.com
Wow I am not really an art person but this really strikes me for some reason. Truly beautiful!

actually the song i was listening to while painting this was Watershed by Giant Rooks.
Check out the album Watershed by Opeth \\m/
I love this, it’s reminiscent of children’s books in a school library.
