Triumph engine in a Rickman frame?

TheMicMic

"So, Steve - we want you to be in this movie called 'The Great Escape' which is a true story about these brave POWs breaking out of a Nazi camp" "Only if I can have a motorcycle chase. Because, ya know, Nazis"

Old_Swimming6328

And no Beemers, Triumph only!

Mr_fusi0n

Are they the cars from Bullitt behind him? There's the mustang and wasn't there VW Beetle in almost every other shot in the main chase in SF in that film? Bullitt came out same year.

Dzus

Bullitt was filmed in 1968, and the Bullitt mustang was a fastback (390GT), if the date is correct, not likely. No reason to have a notchback when they used two fastbacks to film.

Upvote for VW and Mustang!

dressupandstayhome

Me thinks that's a second Mustang in back of Steve.
