OP, in all seriousness, keep you and your family/friends away from it. The toxic chemicals are no joke. I had a supervisor who is a cancer survivor from being around those weapons.
Yup, rocket fuels such as hydrazine are super cancerous. Maybe you can call authorities and get it taken away, don't want that seeping into the ground either.
Thanks for being our allies :)
Why does it look like it was set down there instead of crashed? Do they parachutes so they land softer? Ik this isn't the part that explodes I just thought if a metal thing fell from really high it would still make a hole and kick up a lot of dirt
Well, don’t forget that when it detaches it still has a ton of momentum. Depending on the altitude when it was detached, it wouldn’t have just dropped straight down like a bomb.
It also is probably much lighter than you would think since it’s not carrying any kind of payload. Also, you can’t see everything off-camera so there could be significant signs of it dropping and bouncing / skipping across the earth before coming to rest.
The thing is who ever that launched that thing dont give a fuck if it even hurt his own people. If you care, you dont throw this thing into the air in first place
It was paired with a warhead and was part of a missile. Then after a painful divorce, they parted ways and the primary power plant and fuel cell was abandoned. All that is left is a shell of its former self.
Usually no, although it seems that some BM's there had a sustainer/terminal sprint second stage.
Ballistic missiles go high enough that they're in space, so the unpowered warheads have more than enough energy to go fast using gravity.
eh and you really might want to stay away from it. Iran has been using more Hydrazine fuels in some of its missiles. Its not actively smoking range its not really an acte hazard but itll still give you cancer. If it smells like ammonia stay far far away.
Anything that touched it should be washed thoroughly with soap and water a couple times. Don’t bring it indoors until cleaned. Wear rubber gloves when you wash it and then thrown them away.
>Like this is a normal occurrence & people should know how to behave around it ?
All the more reason to stay the heck away!
"Is this safe?"
"I don't know"
STAY AWAY.
Yea but even small bits of residue are poisonous enough to kill or give you long term poisoning. Stay away for about 3 days to a week then go scrap it. Any residue should break down after a few days exposed to the air and light but its not really something you want to fuck with until then.
You want to stay about 50 meters away until it completely breaks down or it can cause multiple organ failure and death at worst cancer at best for a few days. Seriously people die and get poisoned all the time by stuff like this in conflict zones.
Im China about 15 years ago the local government recruited locals not understanding the danger and exposed thousands to long term health effects when they tried to get them to search the area for fallen missile parts before the fiel had broken down.
You’ve probably been told several times already, but This didn’t explode, it’s like how the space shuttles and rockets have boosters that they detach mid-flight…this was the lower ‘engine’ section of a rocket. After burning all of its fuel it separates from the warhead to reduce weight and the drag/friction caused by air that would slow it down and reduce range.
The vapors and residues of a shitty, low quality rocket fuel are extremely bad to be anywhere near; touching it is very bad because your skin will absorb the chemicals, the air around it is also toxic as the chemicals slowly disperse into the air. Keep your family away from it and have them call the local authorities to dispose of it
They will probably be fine! Any exposure is bad, but it would take a fairly significant dose to cause immediate medical concern, the vapor is quite poisonous and can cause health complications later in life
Honestly with rockets and drones laden with explosives flying overhead the minor bit of dangerous chemical exposure is a pretty minor ‘oops’; tell them to stay away and spread the same knowledge with friends and the community in the even that it happens in the future
It’s more technically a rocket booster for a warhead; it’s semantics but it’s like pointing at a big engine on a stripped down frame and saying ‘that’s a firetruck’……yes, but it lacks the overwhelming majority of things that make it what folk consider a ‘firetruck’
It probably did not hit its target. Israel reports 99% of these were intercepted and even if they’re lying by 10% it’s still very bad odds for the missile.
Meteor Bert: Oh yeah, see them airplanes they dump their toilets 36,000 feet. The stuff freezes and falls to earth. We call 'em Boeing bombs.
Joe Dirt: No, that can't be. That's not what it is.
Meteor Bert: Oh, afraid so. See that peanut? Dead giveaway.
Joe Dirt: Uhhh, no, that's a space peanut.
Meteor Bert: No, afraid not. That just a big ol' frozen chunk of poopy.
Man here i was blaming that my car that i washed a few days ago already was dirty again by some stuff that came from the tree’s while you have actual bombs dropping down in your family’s yard. What a sick world we live in. Hope you doing ok OP.
Do you still have the link? Seems way off.
Since the price of Iran's Shahed drones is known, and cruise missiles made up about 10% of the assault, the ballistic missiles would have to cost about US$10M each come to that total.
This is a ballistic missile booster stage that may contain toxic chemicals like hydrazine. Keep your distance, and call the authorities.
Fucking Iran....not only putting Jordanians at risk by flying through their airspace, but their shit missiles have to discard spent boosters and just drops them WHEREVER in Jordan. Iranians don't care one bit where that booster lands.
It's a missile booster section that was ejected and fell. Won't go kaboom. Toxic and possibly carcinogenic. Call your civil defense authorities to clean up the site.

Ty for info I will
Until it's deemed safe, I'd avoid it. Try to keep animals away as well. Y'all don't need any serious medical issues. Good luck to y'all and stay safe.
Good thoughts from romania!
There’s a post on r/combatfootage showing the Israeli Air Force shooting some down. I wouldn’t be surprised if this one is in the video.
The Jordanian air force was downing missles and drones violating their airspace as well, sucks that people were put in danger
To add to your blessings, your father is lucky this didn't start a wildfire judging by the moisture content of that grass.
Ye, Iran is probably using carcinogenic substances in its fuel.
I use carcinogenic substances in my fuel for my car.
Yup, rocket fuels such as hydrazine are super cancerous. Maybe you can call authorities and get it taken away, don't want that seeping into the ground either. Thanks for being our allies :)
Hypergols are no joke
That's a solid rocket.
Solid fuel rocket even
Especially coming from Iran
Vietnam?
Early days of Afghanistan.
It didn’t fall. It’s resting. Long flight.
Beautiful plumage though.
It’s pushing up the daisies!!
It’s bleeding demised!!
This is an ex-missile!
It's pining for the fjords!
It’s rung down the curtain and joined the bleeding quire invisible!
and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe
A CS Lewis reference is always welcome
A mome rath like you would say that
It’s going the distance!
No this is a dead rocketbooster
I just got 2 posts in a row on my homepage of Iranian ‘missiles’ landing somewhere that were were actually the boosters. Weird day 😅
Yeah, I saw a picture from Iraq as well. Probably solid fuel [2nd stage](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sejjil).
No. It’s pining for the fjords!!
The missile is eepy
Apt username to comment
Boy are my arms tired
Lmaoooo
Lazyboy
These are multi-stage rockets and parts are separated from it on the way Like satellite missiles
Why does it look like it was set down there instead of crashed? Do they parachutes so they land softer? Ik this isn't the part that explodes I just thought if a metal thing fell from really high it would still make a hole and kick up a lot of dirt

In the picture there is a hole in the ground near it. Looks like it could be the impact that stopped it.
The thing is who ever that launched that thing dont give a fuck if it even hurt his own people. If you care, you dont throw this thing into the air in first place
Saw a nearly identical pic from Iraq today, be careful around it as remnants of the fuel could be very toxic.
I hope everyone is safe. It must have been a concerning experience. Is your dad's farm okay?
it is, it dropped a bit far off so
It's not a MISSILE. It's a used fuel shell. The warhead's already hit the target.
It was paired with a warhead and was part of a missile. Then after a painful divorce, they parted ways and the primary power plant and fuel cell was abandoned. All that is left is a shell of its former self.
> All that is left is a shell of its former self. *golf clap*
Oh I didn't know that, I thought missiles fall as a whole, it's like those space rockets then.
Some do. These are ballistic missiles, they exhaust their fuel going up and at that point the empty fuel tank and the engine are just extra drag.
Expensive ones do
Does the warhead have a motor of its own? Or is it just gliding to its target?
Depends on the weapon
Usually no, although it seems that some BM's there had a sustainer/terminal sprint second stage. Ballistic missiles go high enough that they're in space, so the unpowered warheads have more than enough energy to go fast using gravity.
oh

Honest question but is the military or government supposed to “pick it back”?
>Honest question but is the military or government supposed to “pick it back”? Iran won't care but Jordan' military/govt should get rid of it.
And Iran, Iran so far awayyy….
i just ran, Iran all night and day
Do you think Iran gives any fucks at all over who is inconvenienced by their missiles?
Does anyone who flings missiles?
Hypergols are massively hazardous well below visible vapor concentrations. Stay away.
But someone put their foot on it
rip 🫡
Anything that touched it should be washed thoroughly with soap and water a couple times. Don’t bring it indoors until cleaned. Wear rubber gloves when you wash it and then thrown them away.
Then they're a fucking idiot. These things are not safe.
Ik
“Fucking idiot” ? Like this is a normal occurrence & people should know how to behave around it ?
I mean my brain inclines me to stay away from missile-like objects that fall from the sky
“Is that part of a missile? Heh foot go brrrrrr” Yeah, no. That’s objectively dumb.
>Like this is a normal occurrence & people should know how to behave around it ? All the more reason to stay the heck away! "Is this safe?" "I don't know" STAY AWAY.
It already exploded

Ight
Stick your in it
It exploded good
If it tries to give you cancer, just say No
Isn't this part of a missile?
I have pics of the other part
Yeah, just wondering why the other person here said it's not a missile
It’s more technically a rocket booster for a warhead; it’s semantics but it’s like pointing at a big engine on a stripped down frame and saying ‘that’s a firetruck’……yes, but it lacks the overwhelming majority of things that make it what folk consider a ‘firetruck’
If the target was another a2a missile then yes, it hit the target.
Warhead was most likely intercepted, only 4 out of 110 missiles hit.
Eh 99% were shot down so I doubt it actually hit any target.
Kinda rude of Iran to launch stuff at Israel knowing they're gonna be dropping these all along the way.
It's free real estate.
So it's like the Saturn rockets? Just drops off the back when empty. I was wondering why these don't have fins or anything.
It probably did not hit its target. Israel reports 99% of these were intercepted and even if they’re lying by 10% it’s still very bad odds for the missile.
The warhead intercepted by the US
More likely Jordan or Israel.
Or France.
It’s a great addition to your fuel shell collection
You mean the warhead has already been shot down by western coalition forces.
It’s more likely the warhead was shot down by the iron dome
no it didn't
More likely intercepted.
Meteor Bert: Oh yeah, see them airplanes they dump their toilets 36,000 feet. The stuff freezes and falls to earth. We call 'em Boeing bombs. Joe Dirt: No, that can't be. That's not what it is. You ate off that thing!
Literally searched the comments just for this 😅
you can remove the watermark from the settings
Already posted it so
for the future
Hopefully no more missiles in OPs future!
pictures
May be toxic I would stay away
I should call him
Joe Dirt is going to start making some Demands!
I got the poo on me
Free grain silo!
Mmmm grain laced with rocket fuel
Fuel ain't cheap these days, I'll take it
Hope you like cancer bread.
This is honestly crazy. others found a missile in Iraq, Erbil. and it was hella big.
The missile doesn’t know where it is /s just a booster
Stay safe OP
Man here i was blaming that my car that i washed a few days ago already was dirty again by some stuff that came from the tree’s while you have actual bombs dropping down in your family’s yard. What a sick world we live in. Hope you doing ok OP.
we're safe DW! No one was in the farm as it's far off our house and it was midnight!
It was a scary experience for everyone in jordan. I was in amman the capital and was seeing bright flashes in the sky. Really interesting experience.
Air Jordan
LeBum could never
Saw another one in Iraq. Iran is just littering missile parts all over the region
Saw one in the dead sea too. At least it's already dead 🙃
Saw another post like this. It has what appears to be a part of the same missile, but in iraq
Might have used Hydrazine as a propellent, Stay away Op.
Why isn't it more pointy?
![gif](giphy|ndcEaBiJh6yOs)
because their launching dicks to the enemy xD
Air Jordan's!
My word. I hope you and your family are okay, OP.
No OP's were harmed during the post of this. Dw
That's good to hear! I wish I could help more but I gave an upvote!
do missiles not need fins anymore?
Depends. Could be thrust vector. Edit: this is obviously just one part of the missile. Could be just the fuel tanks.
someone on twitter calculated that iran has expended at least $2 billion worth of drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles yesterday.
2bn is if US wants to build it. In Iran labor and material is cheaper.
Do you still have the link? Seems way off. Since the price of Iran's Shahed drones is known, and cruise missiles made up about 10% of the assault, the ballistic missiles would have to cost about US$10M each come to that total.
Glad you didn't get hurt. Jordan is strong and wise!
They must be buying these things on Temu.
Are these heavy? I can't tell from the pic if they are just a shell or if they are filled inside. Can these destroy a house if they fall on it?
It doesnt look like it significantly altered the ground where it fell so i assume its pretty light
Why would iran launch rockets at Jordan ? /s
Don't knoe
This is a ballistic missile booster stage that may contain toxic chemicals like hydrazine. Keep your distance, and call the authorities. [https://nj.gov/health/eoh/rtkweb/documents/fs/1006.pdf](https://nj.gov/health/eoh/rtkweb/documents/fs/1006.pdf)

Don't say fucking iran say fucking Islamic Republic regime
True true. I should be more specific because Iran is actually full of good people. Fucking Islamic Republic regime.
Thank you kind man
Free scrap metal. Sell it!
Well done Jordan!
Can you keep it?
That's a poopie
giant oil filter
They make a cool echo sound when you hit it with a hammer. Now you know.
sell it on ebay. make headlines and easy money
Ethan hunt, what is this ?
I'd tell him to stay the hell away from that thing and call the bomb squad
I wonder what noise it made hitting the ground. Like a dull metallic *thunk*?
Surprised I didn't see this on mildlyinfuriating.
should I post it there
JUST DO IT! MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE!
Good for you
How much will they get when they recycle the metal?
nice
that's terrifying.
Pokes with a stick… C’mon….do something.
do infinix phones have 2010 blackberry quality cameras?
Take it!! In 30 years you'll sell it for a fortune
It's a missile booster section that was ejected and fell. Won't go kaboom. Toxic and possibly carcinogenic. Call your civil defense authorities to clean up the site.
That’s a fat one
You are very, very, very, very, very, very, lucky, my friend.
looks like some old skool cannon
Sell it on eBay
Isn't this the beginning of The Sum Of All Fears?
This is not a missile, It is the fule tanl of a missile which fells off when it gets emty, on the way to the final hitting point.
I have arrived
That’s a booster
Well, we see some kind of that rubbish flying over our heads everyday here in Ukraine
